Week 17 Nothing really moved this week. It’s something like between low tide and high tide: not my favorite moment … waiting for blossoms and flowers 🙄🙏. Good point is that every plants are healthy ( except a parasite problem on Psicodelicia) and well prepared for flowering. For now it’s bad weather outside: 20 degrees max, with lot of wind and rain (cf video). The green house is the best option despite of less exposure. Morning soon I moved the plants outside to sprayed them with potassium soap (natural insecticide). I cleaned the grow space inside the greenhouse (didn’t touch spiderwebs…good insecticide too). I removed the automatic watering and get a few liters of rain water during this days. Watering 1L every 3 days -Calmag + Cannazym + Alga mic + Root booster -Flora Series: preflowering quantities. Daylight 14h30: 6h50/21h20 Sleepy Joe is still the queen of this summer session, using a large place with the long side branches. Zero problems but I did some preventative treatment against predators.

On the end, I believe it's a verry nice strain for a begginer. Even with no feeding, and just regular gardening soil, I had amazing results. The plant was outdoor in the day, indoor during the night, so facing all the agression from the outside.... GG Blackberry ^^ The flowers are verry light, and that's because of the absence of feeding. They are very fluffy and not dense. But they are fully covered of trichomes, and have a pleasant smell and taste. Smooth smoke. So amazing result for my experience, and for the setup :) I'm disapointed about the taste for now. Maybe curing will change the taste, but for me it's mainly "Diesel" and that's definitly not what I was looking for. UPDATE AFTER 1 MONTH OF CURING : Well, i just realize the taste changed, and with a good flower (not too much leaves) i actually felt the taste of... Blackberries. IT's actually amazing :D Not berries, but really blackberries !! I will grow this strain again, but with feeding during veg and flowering, to get bigger and more dense buds. This one was too much leafy, and this is not the best for the taste. My "quest" for the "purple" taste I'm looking for continue. Next batch : I will try Purple Kush (auto) from Buddha Seeds, and Queen Sherbet from Royal Queen Seeds !

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

5/25: It rained again today for most of the day, but I managed to get back out there and take some photos after it let up. I also shot a short video early in the a.m while it was sprinkling and the lights were on... I heard that this strain flowers really fast, but I really don't think she can finish before June 21 (the summer solstice). The other two seedlings (FFT#6 and FFT#7) are in the same boat. The 5 clones outdoors might be able to finish before they get the signal to reveg. I may end up bringing as many of them as I can fit into my closet to finish and starting another batch of beans to grow outdoors this summer... 5/26 - 5/31: I did some training on her early in the week between rain showers, and foliar fed with Microlife maximum bloom formula. She's more than 36" across now... She was looking a little N deficient, so I assume the dry amendments have petered out. I top-fed her with another couple tablespoons of cavern culture and on the 31st, they were dry enough to feed them. I gave them big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, silica, endoboost, signal, humic acid, liquid kelp/fish emulsion, and liquid molasses. It just feels so strange that I'll be harvesting outdoor photos in June!?! That's it for week 8-

so she got flushed this week and is now fed ripen for the last 3 days, so that means next week is harvest, the smell is really loud now, very very citrus and earthy fumes all over the room. I can already tell this will be one of my favorite flowers to smoke. Most hairs are still white the more down in the plant there is barely any brown pistils but still she got amber trichomes all over her, just one more week straight water and ripen to let her suck those leaves dry so we can finish with a nice fade

I'm in love with this super Gorilla strain called Alien gorilla by original sensible seeds, super strong aroma,very very frosty all the leave are covered in trichomes, she's such an amazing plant for this Mediterranean climate, hope that I can grow a big bush from an Alien gorilla seed next outdoor season 😍🌱🦍👽💎

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Week 6 - Maybe the last vegetative week. Everyone is topped and LST. I think I will let them grow in peace this week (Ill just fix the lst, no more toppings or cutting fan leaves) and install my scrog net

Mix packs and Gorilla Z were fed Dr. Earth w/worm castings and top dressed with compost. All plants received full strength Silica Boost foliar spray. Mix pack#2 showed 2 unopen pollen sacks (?) which were removed.

Sunday, 14-08-2022 Plant continuing to look good and is in flower. Secondary stems from mainlines so tall I decided, in the moment and not planned at all, to tied them down yesterday. I realize this is not fully in keeping with quadlining but I went for it. Broke one of the lower mainlines where it attaches to the stem 😞. Supplemented feed today with my Beneficial Booster. Foliar sprayed the last two nights with The Amazing Doctor Zymes Eliminator for IPM. Except for testing before use, I followed instructions exactly and have noticed no phytotoxicity. Will report on effectiveness next week after completing initial 3 day treatment tonight.

Another good week in the garden. Weather outside has turned cooler and wet but tent keeps an even 25c at 60 RH and smells great! I keep making excuses to put my head in n take a big breath. They still taking water every morning and dry within 24 hrs but I think she is starting to slow down now. Pistills turning darker and buds getting sticky n fat. Bit of frosting on the topmost sugar leaves and are beginning to fade in colour. Cleaning my loupe ready for next week. Titan is doing great too, can't wait for her to have the tent to herself and see what she can do.

Apple Fritter smell for days, makes you want to keep your nose in the bag. Ill need to grow this one again.
