Mattie the Matanuska Thunder Fuck-- MSNL

Here We have The Awesome Matanuska Thunder Fuck! By @MSNL🙌🙌 I popped a One Fem seed out of the ten pack so far, it is my first time growing this strain so figured I'd start with one and go from there👍 The seed had a tap root in ~10hrs after start of germination👌 She definitely has some very strong genetics, she has been growing very quick!! Had it under a 2FT. 2 tube T% for the first 2 Days an most of Day 3, then moved her into the RDWC system under the 400watt MH lamp. It had a little shock when I first moved it into the system due to the heavy top feeding I gave it so it would last until the roots grew to where the system could be filled with water and let em rip.🙌 By the end of they of Day 4 she had bounced back and the net pot was filled the rest of the way with the GrowStones. Also filled up the system with water the day it take about 16 gallons I used a mix of 10 Gallons of well water and 6 Gallons of R/O water, I added 5mL/Gal of both AquaFlakes A&B. 3mL/Gal of Multi Zen, 1mL/Gal of Roots Excelurator, 0.5mL/Gal of Drip Clean and last but not least 1mL/Gal of Hydrogaurd plus some beneficial microbes as well and set it to a pH of 5.7. I was not around for the next few days so I wasn't able to get pics until Day 8 again but WOW She grew a lot in those days!!🙌🙌🙏 Now that the roots are starting to get into the water she should start taking off💪 Let's Hope for a great journey/grow and Follow along to see how she does! Heyy My Friends!! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been dealing with a death in the family so I have been back and forth out of state a lot the past couple weeks. The Matanuska is doing Amazing for the lack of time I have been able to spend on Her! It just goes to show how great these genetics are👍 The pics were taking on day 14 Right after a water change. I ended up leaving that day and left a couple of gallons of water for a buddy to come over and just make sure the system was topped off and the pump was working. So for the week I was gone the first time She was pretty much all on her on, I did not get a chance to put any nutrients in before leaving either. Luckily I did get the Beneficials in there! She was growing very well and healthy before leaving so I had faith that as long as my pump didn't go out or some crazy pH change she would do fine. She had already developed about a 6-8 inch long 4-5 inch wide Root ball inside the bucket by day 14. Overall she showed some very quick growth at a young age😎 Thanks for stopping in to check the diary out! Heyyy!! So This was an awesome sight to see when I Finally got back home!🙌😊 I was just hoping it would still be alive a not to too stressed out, but I came back went to check on them and was like holy shit!! She had doubled in height if not a little more than double and bushed out very nice. It had grown right into the light I was so glad that I had left the 400watt bulb because if I would have switched to the 1000 like planned, it would of most definitely got burnt from the light but since it was only the 400 she had a little heat stress but nothing bad 👌💪 This strain handles stress very very well it seems I haven't been able to spend the time I wanted to with it but it is still coming out better than I expected. Solid genetics right there gotta love it👍👍 So the day these pics were taken I did a half res change and Finally got to give her the food she deserves and wanted. Added House&Garden Aqua Flakes A&B at 8mL/gal , Multi Zen at 3mL/gal , Root Excelurator at 1mL/gal , Drip Clean at 0.5mL/gal. Then The must haves added some Botanicare- HydroGaurd 1mL/gal and Thee Infamous Fish Shit! From Fish Head Farms👍 at the rate of 2mL/gal. For anyone that has not heard of or used Fish Shit I would Highly recommend trying it, The best part about it is it can be used for any type of medium. and helps pretty much create an ecosystems in your system or soil!

And luckily my buddy was able to come over and get some pics for me and top the res off. Plus he did some LST for me👍. Not to much for me to report other than that and she got way bigger once again 🙌. I am Feeding her House&Garden Aqua Flakes A&B at 8mL/Gal, Multi Zen at 3mL/Gal, Roots Excelurator at 1mL/Gal, Drip Clean at 0.5mL/Gal. For the more Important part the Root Zone! Hello There! It was another Great week for Mattie The Matanuska Thunder Fuck!😊 I was not home for day 35 so that why the pics are from Day 38👍. I was gone for almost the entire week once again so I was not able to do as much training as I would have like too. That's one of the reasons I kept them under the 400w even tho they are this big is to keep the stems pliable because right as they go under the 1000watt light they will stiffen right up and tend to want to snap instead of bend. For this week She was fed The same as all the other weeks but bumped the base nute House&Garden AquaFlakes A&B to 8mL/gal and will be going up next res change again cuz they still want some more food😊. This will be their last week in this smaller tent as they are running out of room!! It's a good problem to have👍 On day 38 I did some LST and some leaf tucking on her to try an get a more even canopy and she took it very well. she gets very droopy right afterwards more than most plants but withing a couple hours it bounces right back better than ever💪 She is overall just one crazy growing plant I love it😵 Can't wait to see her full of flowers!! Hello, My fellow friends and growers!! It was another great week For Mattie- Matanuska Thunder Fuck from @MSNL👍 These are some wonderful strong genetics from them. This plant has grown very well, healthy and has been handling some stress pretty great. I thought all the stress would of slowed her down a little bit but it did not at all. It almost seemed to bounce back tougher to prove it was good you know? I am waiting for a few more fittings to finish up the system that she will go into flower in🙌 I am doing some Low Stress Training on her about every other day with just some branch bending to keep her nimble so that when I move her into the new system I will be able to actually tie them down. Hey Guys & Gals! It was another Great week for Mattie. She is kind of just cruising right along wanting to be put in the bigger system and flipped to Flower, She is still very healthy just getting very big an needs to be flipped. Luckily the fittings I needed to finish up the New system came in so I was able to get it all finished up and got to test it yesterday for leaks, and we are looking good🙌 So today She will be moved into that bigger system, once in the system I will give them a 48 hour dark period to try and help induce flowing a little quicker. I don't normally do this but where she is so big I just want her to start flowering as quick as she can. Everything for this week was pretty much the same as the last. With the exception of the House&Garden Bud-XL was bumped up to 3mL/Gal other than that and doing a water change everything else is the same👍 The New System She will go into Has 4- 8 Gallon Square tote/buckets as the Plant sites and 1- 13 Gallon tote/Bucket as the Res/Control. It has 2" sends with a 1' return line off of the Tee coming from the middle of last 2 sites. I will be running a 500 GPH EcoPlus Mag Drive Inline pump for water and I forget the size of the air pump I got Will post it up in the next update. Thanks for Checking the grow out. Well Mattie is very happy now that she is in the bigger (Flower) System. The system consists of 4- 8 Gallon Square/Rectangle buckets for the plant sites, 1- 13 Gallon bucket as the res/control. I am using a 500GPH EcoPlus inline mag- drive pump for water and an ActiveAqua Air Pump AAPA70L 70 Liter per min. Attached to 4 air-stones for now. Two of them are 4 inch flat rounds, and the other 2 are the 4 inch long and like 1.5-2" wide cylinder type. All of the pics were taken at the end of Week 1 (Day 7), I was surprised at how quick the 48 Hr. dark period actually help induce flowering a little quicker. After those 48 hours I was already noticing the inter-node spacing shorting up. Not to much else to report other than her being in the new system and finally flipped to flower🙌 She should have a good amount of whites hairs on her for next weeks update the way she is growing!! End of Week 2 for Mattie!! She is Raging right along🙌 I Could not believe how much she exploded in the past couple of days. I came home from being away for a few days an when I went to take a look at he all the white hairs shooting up just blew me away. Did not expect them to get that big that quick!! Her smell has also like tripled in strength. It is a Lemon, Lime with some piney spice added in very nice and refreshing smell. All in all she is growing amazingly. All of her feeding stayed the same. this was more of a sit back and watch week for me so not to much else to report. Thanks for checking it out and stay tuned to watch her Explode!!! Hey fellow Growers and Growies! Mattie had a Fantastic week, Technically 10 days as I was not home on day 21. The colas on her just keep getting taller and taller and already filling in a little as she goes on💪 Looks like this will be a very good yielding plant🙌 She reeks of lemony lime with some floral hints showing up just a very unique nose to it. Not much was done to it this past week other than the base nutes ( Aqua Flakes A&B ) were bumped up to 14mL/Gal. Everything else was kept the same👍 Nothing else to really report, She is growing very very well so far and I hope it will stay this way throughout the whole grow. Hey Everyone, It was a pretty good week for the Matanuska Thunder. This update and the pictures are for Day 32 of flower, I wasn't thinking and went a week from the last update an that was day 24.So for the next one I will either go a week from this one or 10 days an hit week 6 of flower we will see how she progresses. She is a very fast flowering strain and due to this I decide to add some House&Garden Top Booster a little earlier than usual/recommended from their chart. It is usually added for either week 5 or 6 depending how quick or long it flowers. It helps trigger the final stages of flowering shifting all it's energy to the bud sites. It seems to be doing its job👌 Also dropped the base nutes Aqua Flakes A&B down to 10mL/gal from 14mL/gal the reason for this, 14 is a little higher than their recommended dosage so when I start to add the mid/late flower nutes I tend to drop the base a tid bit. Not much else went on this week. The smell is getting fairly unique lemon-lime very ripe bananas with some pine trees somewhere in the background🙌 Such a nice Plant! It is Day 42 for Thee Matanuska. She is really fattening up!!!💪 The week went very well, you can tell the Top Shooter helped her switch into final gear an get all of her energy to the bud sites by how all the fan leaves are yellowing up. It is getting some nice colors as she gets later into flower and the night temps are going down slightly as well. This will most likely be her last week of being fed. Unless it looks like she will go 9 weeks then i will just wait a little longer to start a flush👍 She is developing some nice aromas on top of whats already been there. Before it was more of a citrus ripe banana peel like smell and now it still has those but some berry and almost a chemical/ammonia smells with some hints of pine popping up as well very very ice nose to this one🙌 I know it says this is more of an Indica strain but this pheno is deff more Sativa leaning she is stacking some nice fat calyxes one on top of the other giving that shaweet Foxtail look to the tops of the buds. Week Seven for this beauty we have here!! Had a slight pH problem this week due to my pH pen finally dying out on me. So I replace that Hanna Checker, with a Bluelab ph/combo meter and wow what a difference!! Yeah sure they both tell you the pH but the new one is so much more user friendly when it comes to calibrating👍 Other than that slight issue she is doing well. Really packing on the density now💪 Starting to notice the branches dropping a little lower and lower as the days go on 🙌 I'm digging the fox tailing going on just one beautiful plant. Really smelling up the place. It's this lemon lime citrusy/ fruity/ pungent with some pine/earth in the background? its different but in a very good way! very resinous and covered in trichomes looks like she will go 9 to 10 weeks, So I will be starting the flush fairly soon. It was another excellent week!! She is nearing the end of her course🙌 This is week 8 for her, This is supposed to be an 8-10 week flowering strain and I would agree. This one looks like she will go 9 to 10 weeks but if I was in a rush it could be cut now but I am in no rush so will let her go another week or two depending on how her trichs look. Soo many beautiful colors on this girl!! It's got purples, blues, oranges, greens It awesome🙌 It reeks of citrus lemon lime fruitiness with this slight chemical? like undertone Idk kinda like turpentine it hard to say but smells wicked 👍💪 I Started dropping some of the nutes this week as well getting ready for the flush So for right now It's only House&Garden Aqua Flakes A&B at 5mL/Gal, Drip Clean at 0.5mL/Gal and Last but not least HydroGaurd at 2mL/Gal. I will be doing a full water change around mid week this week, when that is done that will be the start of the flush😊 This is such and awesome Strain to grown Just amazingly beautiful even my Grandma Thinks both this and the Fruity Pebbles are some of the most beautiful plants she has ever seen😆 She doesn't smoke or anything but just loves plants especially this one and the Pebbles She wants me to make her a poster/picture thing of them for her to put up in her house I love it!!!😃 Well thanks for stopping in to see how Mattie is doing, Stop by next week to see how she is doing and if shes ready to chop!! Week Nine for Mattie, and looking like she is pretty much ready for the Chop! 🙌 I started the flush the day after the eight week update. For the past 6 Days she has been in plain pH'd R/O water mixed with a tiny bit of my well water: 75% R/O 25% well ( the well water comes outta the tap at ~100ppm and 0.1-0.2 E.C on Average) Then yesterday I did a 65% water change with only putting Plain pH'd R/O water back into the reservoir, So I'd say Its pretty much just R/O water in there now👍 It helps a Lot using the R/O or distilled water for the final final flush, reason I say this is there WILL be some nutrient residues/ salt build ups, ect.. Not only in the system itself, but In the Root Zone of the plants where a lot will cling to. You will tend to notice this If you use a nutrient that has a darker color will usually make the roots darker or somewhat the color of said nutrient. So when you use The R/O or Distilled, you know that it's going into the system with an E.C of 0 and PPM of 0 as well. Once added let circulate for a few hours, Then go back and take you E.C,PPM,TDS readings and see how much is really left in the system. If it tends to be higher than say like 100 PPM I like pull some more water out and then add more R/O water back in or I will just do a complete water change If I feel there is a need or still getting a higher reading than I want after doing that partial water change .👍 It seems to work very well and I have not been able to tell the difference between the taste of My soil grown vs Hydro grown Plants! That's saying something coming from me since I have always preferred the taste of soil grown over any other medium😲👍 Well like I said in the beginning of the update Mattie is almost ready for the chop I am certain it could be cut right now. I just want it to get the most cloudy/milky trichs as I possibly can but leaning to the amber side. Where most times I will shoot for as cloudy/milky as I can get but with as close to the same ratios of clear and amber since its almost impossible to get 100% cloudy/milky. So for this one I am seeing That most of the Trichomes are cloudy/milky ~80-85% and about 10-12% clear, and about 8-10% Amber. I am looking for it to be more like a ~85-90% cloudy/milky, 2-5% clear and 8-10% amber. I doubt I will hit those numbers exactly but it gives you an idea of what I am shooting for👍😊 She Stinks so soo Good, Its a really lemony-lime citrus fruit with this strong almost chemical like smell at the end of the nose. I guess I am going have to smell some chemicals so I can better describe it for all of you😵 Sooo If my grammar gets worse that's probably why😆 I did cut one branch off at day 60 so that For future grows of this strain I can compare what time of harvest I like better because that can have a big difference on the effects of the finished product. It looks like it will go another 3-6 days before I chop. I will be diligently watching her under a microscope because who knows those Trichs could mature almost over night at this point lol This Matanuska Thunder Has grown very well all the way through since the beginning. Well it is Day 66 for Mattie, and the time has come for Thee Chop 🙌👍😊 Like I have said in the last update this strain can easily be harvested week 8. The reason I let her keep going until about week 9 and a half is I was looking to get the most out of her but with the Trich's that are not cloudy/milky to be more on the amber side and less clear; where as most times I aim for the closest to even ratios of clear to amber possible. So Far I have got half of this bush full of thunder fuck Chopped. and will be cutting the rest off tomorrow in the a.m. That's why I am not doing the Harvest update yet, plus I want to wait till I get final weight, and give it at least a 2 week cure minimum to get the full flavor from her She has been such a pleasure to grow. Well the Matanuska Thunder Fuck was an awesome grow from start to finish!😊 This is such a unique strain to grow, it had some of the biggest fan leaves I have ever seen💪 A few of em must of been about a foot long and wide looked prehistoric😆 It grew some very big colas of of crystal covered goodness. They could have been a little denser but I'm sure there are phenos that are, this one was "fluffy" but kinda dense at the same time It's not a bad trait😊 The dry weight came out to 254.5 Grams minus the smaller nugs that went to oil. The smoke is very smooth it has a piney citrus with some earthy smell in there too. A Very uplifting euphoria that makes you instantly happier relives your stress and helps you tackle any task at hand. When I say that it's not that much of an energetic type of feeling but more of a I just feel absolutely Great and am ready do Go!!😊It was a pretty easy plant to grow just got to do some defoliation due to size of it's fan leaves. It reacts very well to topping and LST. I will Most definitely be running this strain again👍 She is just beautiful while growing and after she's dried with all those colors coming in later in flower just makes those trichomes really pop.
