Well another epic this week. The girls are looking very tasty indeed now! I have now harvested one plant on day 57. It was a tad early for her but she started looking pretty bad for some reason. Potentially started the flush on her a little early or could have been root rot. Either way the plant was chopped to ensure buds were saved. She weighed a cracking 550g wet, and dry was about 100g. This was the girl that was completely untouched, no defoliation etc complete virgin ;). Unfortunately the RH was high I ordered a dehumidifier but they sent me a faulty one and by time had a new one was too late some mould was starting to occur on the girls in a few places. I was over cautious and slung around 25g of buds that were near the mould just to ensure it didn’t spread to the rest of the plant. I also sped the drying up and placed in brown paper bags for last 2 days to suck the remaining moisture off after a full trim and inspection. The girls took a total of 5 days to dry and are now curing. They were a bit “hay” like in smell and taste but this was probably because of all the problems listed above. She is starting to smell much better after a couple of days of curing though so my faith is restored that the remainder of the buds may be quite good still! The last 3 girls have been going lovely, and starting to bring in some purple colours to the sugar leaves which are quite nice, all the trichomes are nice and cloudy and just starting to go amber. I will be harvesting on day 66 as this will allow me a good period of time to trim them fully into reasonable size buds and dry in my hanging net in the tent to ensure no mould problems again. For the last 3 days I have been flushing with 30L of water to ensure they are completely free of nutrients as again think this maybe another factor on the not so nice smelling/tasting buds from the first girl. I will give 2 days to fully dry the soil out bone dry before I cut them down. Happy I took her down early as it’s allowed me to ensure I have 3 good plants left and the remainder of the grow/dry/cure should go smoothly as know what I am doing now.

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Buenas familia, que volví y actualizamos la 6 semana de floración de las red cookies Gelato, estoy deseando empezar nuevos proyectos pero mientras están progresando muy bien esta variedad van madurando y engordando . Añadimos overdrive y PK y no sé si mirar nuevos nutrientes o seguir con estos, estoy abierto a ofertas 🤣. De los 9 ejemplares, solo uno tiene realizado un lavado de raíces, esta semana practicaré lavados a 6 ejemplares y la próxima semana lavaré los últimos 2 ejemplares que quedan que los apuraré en alimentación. Acordaros 5 ejemplares en 15 litros otros 4 en 7 litros, estoy deseando ver que hay en la báscula cuando esté todo seco . Hello. This is the end of the veg cycle and the first week in flowering. It's May 30/2023. The Breeders Description said 8 to 9 weeks of flowering. That should take us to August 1st. That would be the start of week 9 and Aug. 8th would be the end of week 9, so I plan to harvest around then. The greenhouse looks a little different than last time. My buddy Jerry brought me some bamboo (he went out of his way on his birthday to do that for me) What A nice guy he is. I used 18 of the longest pieces to make a Scrog type of net to hold up the big buds I hope to get. First year to try this bamboo thing. Hope it goes good. I might have to tie it up tighter. I did a good trim/prune, under the table mostly, but did remove some big fanleaves up top that blocked the lower branch ends/tips from seeing good light. I think it's also good to remove the big fanleaves that don't get much light any more. It promotes more growth up top. While trimming I left the branches that were growing straight down. I'll trim them off today for cuttings, for clones I'll make later. I mix 10ml of liquid seaweed with 1 gallon of water to put the cuttings in. I'll make 6 cups for 6 different plants numbered 1 to 6 so I don't mix them up. 😁 I'll pack up the lights later. I'll mix some transition to flowering, nutrient solution tomorrow. The cough goes great. She is pushed a lot this week and sits at 104cm today. Lots of flower sites and loads of space for the colas to grow into. Light is good,CO2 is good,temps are good.. All is good.. Thanks for stoping by. Stay safe and grow well. 👍👊

📆 Week 14, 11 - 17 April 2024 11 April - Cut off all yellowing leaves. Reduced light power to 50%. Began the Flush. 12-13 April - Flushed plant. 14 April - Harvested plant and hung in closet for drying. 15-17 April - Continued to hang in closet for drying. 📑 I decided to trim this plant before hanging because of its size, and having the time to dedicate to it. Either way it would have been sticky. It will hang it for 7-10 days in a somewhat climate controlled closet with a RH 60% and temperature of 65 degrees F using a small fan for circulation. Then it will be cut and placed into 1 quart mason jars with Boveda 62% TerpShield, and burped daily until a RH of 62% is maintained for long term storage. Overall Grow Review: With all environmental conditions staying within ideal throughout the grow, I am impressed with the size of these buds and resin production. But she was not on the bigger side of the auto family varieties as far as yield. I contribute this to size of the plant. The breeder claims a height of 100 centimeters, where this plant only achieved about 75. Time of harvest from seed the breeder claims 65-70 days. I did have to add an additional week of flowering to get her matured due to the higher sativa genetics, but that was expected. The time of this harvest was 94 days (42 veg, 52 flower). Would I grow it again? Absolutely! As with any autoflower I’ve grown in hydroponics, they have taken this long, under these conditions, without any major manipulation - seed to harvest just over 90 days. The only major differences are size of plant, and type of bud - not time to grow and properly mature. I did not get the wet bud weight. I still can’t understand the reason for this number, it is the most irrelevant thing to add in this process because it just doesn’t matter. My opinion. Smoq Review: She has a nice profile of terps and the taste doesn’t leave your mouth dry. The high is very pleasant and makes you feel energetic and talkative, leading into an evening of good times. There is not a lot to say when the it’s the right one for anytime, recreational or medicinal, it’s definitely a depression eliminator! 🍶 11 April nutrient changed to RO water 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 40-45 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow. So I just transplanted them into one gallon pots before they go into the growace aircube. The one that the helmet took off some of the leaf is starting to actually wanna live and still growing she’s a little runt as you see in the pictures but I have faith in her. I think they will sit in these pots for a week then into the ebb and flow system. Can’t wait to see what that system has to offer once I know I will have a 10% off link for anyone who’s interested in buying one. Until next week happy growing. Day 39 since Seed pop. The topping worked, gonna be challenge to have a balanced yield. Might have more blueberry cherry than black patronus as it's growing at a faster rate!

Noticing trichomes more than ever. From what I’ve read the last two weeks are when buds start to swell up. Let’s hope that’s the case lol I really pushed the ppm’s this week only because I accidentally let her go over 1000 ppm’s during this week. I would have never have done that but she let me know she was ready for a full dose of nutes. Today is D81 and I’m expecting she will go over one hundred days. We shall see... thanks for listening!

-was on vacation for a week -plants got watered every other day by my sister -noticed some spots on leafs as well as yellow leafs -defoliated some yellow leafs and leafs that didnt get enough light -put the light on 12/12 today and will start with biobizz in a few days -Whats does the spots on the leafs mean? Happy about every comment :)
