Welcome to week 8 🌱✨ The Girl Scout Cookies ladies are doing good so far. I did some more defoliation and lollipopping. I guess the stretch will be done soon. Unfortunately Salem and Morgana are still standing tall in the back. I still have no idea how to get those main stems out of the hotspot. Edit: I installed an automatic watering system today. Indicidual treatment for every lady. Let’s see how they’ll like it. 🧙‍♂️

EC 2.3 Ph 6.3

Easy going week. nothing much to report. The EC pen I got is acting weird already. sometimes I'll put it in the feeding liquid and it will display 400ppm something. Then if I move it about or drip it in and out it will jump up to 700ppm something. I doing it over and over till I get a base line and go from that. this weeks EC was aorund 680ppm but the video does not show the other dips I did. PH still kicking aorund 5.9. I find it more annoying to adjust just the waters PH for these plants on the balcony where everything else is "as is" Will try this again indoors in a peat and perlite medium void of any other additives when It can have more of my undivided attention. maybe on the other seeds I got from FB via a friend in the mail. Side note uploading videos into the diaries is great and all, but takes to long to resize and process, can't hit save till its all done... no idea what its doing in the backend. stupid rule on contest must have videos every week,

May, 8th OMG, those Stawberry Cough As you can see In the Video they are still Bulkng up the Flowers On the one Pheno the Buds are Fistsized... they are loosing fluffyness and getting dense The other Pheno showing Cotton Caandylike Flowers Pistils are getting darker, and Trichomes are already Milky/ with some Amber Plant is discloring That means all Signs for Harvesting soon If I open thee Tent i have a strong Scent of pine and fruits...... Week 10 beginning of the final stages. Smell is amazing 🤩 What would you guys make different?

Ive had some really hot days out here bur the airco really saved the day. I can keep my temps at 24c ish on average ranging from 22-27c. Cant really get the humidity down 50s but with loads of airflow I should be fine. Its ranging between 50-60% right now. Theyre smelling quite strong. I am venting out of a windows through a carbon filter and I smell nothing within my house or around. She is getting really frosty and one of them has purple hues in the buds. (Picture 1) One of them is a really odd phenotype (picture 2) with extremely long leaf stems. Which kinda is nice as the buds are looking to grow bigger down at the colas because of this. Hardly have to defoliate that one. Edit: decided to add some cal-mag at half stength to the watering. She was showing signs of a calcium deficiency. Ppm was in range aswel as the PH, so it must be calcium deficiency as it only shows at leaves closest to the light. Yellowing also started appearing on the top.

Day 42 from sprout. I been torn on if I'm going to transplant again. I know that since i am doing an organic grow its all about that soil and its microbes. I feel I been doing pretty good with these 3 gallon pots so far and only got a 2x4x6 to grow in. That being said I did top dress today 2-11 with my gaia green fertilizers and did a bit of defoliation. They lookin like their 60 year old blind Auntie cut their hair and look mangled but I just defoliated an hr before I took these pics. I am considering on transplanting to 5 gal before i flip to flower in about a month but not sure yet.

7.9.24 I had to some major jungle patrol! Everything is going crazy! I was adjusting the plants around to maximise light exposure. One branch bent. FBP1, the branches are getting heavier. I had to add my last 2 stakes. I used duct tape and some imagination, tying with string, for the rest of it, too. I'm not going to be able to move them again, so tick, toc ladies! I added 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2, containing the following nutrients:- ♡1ml per litre of Ecothrive Flourish ♡2ml per litre of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster. ♡2ml per litre of cal-mag. After watering each pot with 3 litres in each, with the above nutrients. FBP3. She has again spilled out, run off. I might have mixed my soil, and used less perlight or coco. I've overwatered that plant twice now, fairly recently I'll only give her 2 litres in future. Continuing to give the others 3 litres. I've continued to defoliate. The leaf in the photo was the only one and it was like halfway up the plant. Not sure what it was, so if you know, tell me in a comment please! 8.9.24 Have not needed to adjust any ties. I watered each plant with 1ltr of dechlorinated water, PH'd to 6.2. With the following nutrients. ♡1ml of Ecothrive Flourish ♡2ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡2ml of cal-mag I don't want to overwater, I also need to not let the soil dry enough to kill the microbes. I'll keep an eye on it, and adjust it as necessary. 8.9.24 I had to adjust ties and support for several branches. The fruits are getting heavier. I really hope they get done before anything breaks under the weight. I keep checking the trichomes daily through the jewellers loupe, each plant, and different bud sites. 9.9.24 Dijons birthday 💔 Ok, today another branch on FBP1, Branch wasn't snapped open, just fell under the weight. I tied it back up. I have some potash, which arrived today. I was going to top dress, however I've decided to cut all nutes now. I'm just watering with dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.8-6.0. "Final flush". I will continue this for next watering or so, then switch to straight RO water. Also I'm slowly lowering the temperature of the water, to about 70°F. When I see any amber, I will throw into the dark period for 48h. 10.9.24 After having my last question answered, I have decided to go ahead and call it a day on this grow. The plants had a final watering last night, with regular dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.0. This evening I have put all equipment inside the tent, like the dehumidifier, tower fan. I have split the stems, I mean why not? 😅 I will leave in the dark period for 48h then chop the whole grow, to dry together in the tent. FBP2 I am satisfied with the readiness. FBP1 and FBP3, are mostly glassy still but they need to come down too. I need to get it done and dried, if it's not the best smoke, it's my fault for being incompetent due to inexperience. I just don't want to risk messing up my FBP2, due to waiting on the others. So it is what it is I guess. We'll have to wait and see. This was quite possibly the worst time imaginable to do this run. I've had so much personal tragedy and upheaval, (of course we never know when these things will strike); combined with the unexpected conditions, including temperature and humidity throughout the grow. This being my FIRST grow of any plant at all, and these being autoflowers was particularly stressful. Fingers crossed that it works out in the end. All I'm concerned about now is drying in the closed conditions of the tent environment, and avoiding mould issues. The finish line is in sight. I'm so glad, now I can get back to my life. Will update, when I harvest! 🙂

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Day 63: This week has seen the bud stacks building up nicely. They look a far way off a finish still in general but that's ok by me for their overall yield potential. All 3 have been doing good and I dont doubt without any training, would have been impossible to fit in the room without a drop in plant count. They are putting out a beautiful aroma now and it seems I have another very fruity smelling beauty strain to harvest. #1 Has kept her growth consistent throughout and been the best producer until now She has a lot of bud sotes to get busy stacking on so hopefully a few weeks will see her balloon. #2 Has become the behemoth of the grow now with her pushing her way through foliage like a British Missionary. She needs some space now and will be very happy to get it following the 1st harvest of blackberry. #3 Has done well to keep her development active among the thicket she was in. Trimming out the undersides of these ladies has given great airflow so I dont have to worry too much about mould and too much Rh. She will also get more space soon. Feeds are going well and they Love the MC/shogun combo it seems. Let's hope we have a great harvest to show how amazing these Fast Buds strains are.
