Day 43 : I don't have more Bio-Heaven (get only a sample in the grow shop) so she will only get the 3 others for the moment.

Esta por empezar el engorde final. Ya las flores estan casi formadas. La altura está al límite total. Uno o dos centímetros más y estaría en problemas de verdad. El engorde de muchas flores ya es notorio, pero creo que el uso de un bioestimulante que no es de primera línea, ha reducido el potencial de las plantas. De todos modos hasta no tener el resultado final no puedo afirmar nada. La solución de esta semana fue cargada con más pk booster para ver cómo funciona la linea de greenhouse en esta etapa. Suelo usar pk 13/15 de canna. Pero esta vez puse el que tenía. Seguiré actualizando. Día 31. Se nota mucho el engorde. Las hojas muestran pequeños signos de sobre fertilización, pero nada grave que no haya visto antes. Me suele pasar en esta semana en todos los cultivos en hidroponia. Pero las veces que ko me pasó, no tuve el engorde deseado. Por eso manejo mediciones de PPM superiores 1000. Se empieza a ver cuáles van a ser los cogollos más grandes, pero sigo con incertidumbre sobre cuanto más van a engordar. Estoy bastante conforme al momento. Hoy tuve contacto con plantas macho, pero me cambié toda la ropa antes de acercarme al indoor y le lavé. Además no sé si sumará, pero me rocío en alcohol cada vez que entro a casa, así que espero no tener problemas. Ya voy a ir preparando los esquejes para la próxima siembra. Quizá no logre sacar 10 de las madres que tengo. Pero quizá ponga menos y los haga crecer más tiempo y con bastante LST. Pero será en otro protecto. Por ahora espero que siga el engorde. Día 33. Ya el engorde es un hecho. Por el momento estoy bastante satisfecho. La solución se concentró demasiado así que tuve que agregar agua. Pero más allá de algunos signos de sobre fertilización mínimos y pasajeros en las hojas, la plantas se muestran saludables y firmes. Todavía sigo buscando la posibilidad de agregar overdrive la semana que viene. Todo está por verse. Ya puedo asegurar que va a haber una séptima semana de floración, sino debería empezar el lavado en 2 días, cosa que a la vista, sería muy apresurado. Así que seguiré esperando a ver las flores con los pistilos más secos. Entre tanto los tricomas ya están formados, pero recién van a empezar la maduración en unos días. No saco foto porque el celular no hace buen foco con la lupa, pero ya intentaré mas adelante. Día 35. Cierra la semana con una buena idea de lo que van a ser los cogollos. Según el calendario de la planta, debería empezar el lavado esta semana, ya que sería la última. Pero por la madurez de los tricomas, todavía le faltan entre 10 días y 2 semanas más. Así que se viene otra semana de sobrecarga de PK y voy a aumentar la dosis para aprovechar a medir el nivel de tolerancia de la planta a altos niveles producto. Al ser hidroponia y trabajar con el ambiente bastante controlado, confío en que voy a poder aplicar correctivos a tiempo, si empiezo a notar defasajes bruscos.

First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... New week starts. ___________ 🌞24.05 Watered with 80% GHE nutrients and healing. Photos are dark cos it's night. 🌞25.05 Healing goes good, flowers are multiplying themselves on three plants out of four. I think it's success. 🌞26.05 Plants branches are rising in thickness, flowers of 'HB' and 'RG'#2 gets a second floor. plants standing at the edges of the box have a smaller thickness of branches. I think this is due to the lack of light in these places. There is one more difference between them and those ones stands in a middle: they weren't broken (HST). Also, the branches of these plants located directly under the fan have a shorter height. I see N overdose on 'RG'#2 plant, its leaves has 'claws' on the tips. I'll water all four with water+PK complex next time (for two days) and will give them nutrients time after time from now. A soil is wet still, so it's no watering today. 🌞27.05 Nothing for today. 🌞28.05 The soil is wet still. I'm waiting for tomorrow. 🌞29.05 Watering; PK complex with a 'Bloom' booster. This end week, I've removed the glass, and put on my extractor, I continue to give water with my vaporisator Water + rhizo PH@6 I keep a wet soil and give water everywhere, not only around the stem. I put a bit up supply lamp each day, we are now at 20% #3 is smallest than others because going out soit delayed than 2 others. Absolutely love this cultivar, make sure you have adequate ventilation as these buds are very resinous and dense. It was a very nice plant to grow even though it was small in structure made up for the weight in the buds

Literally the biggest of them all big elongated arms long buds also smell really sweet something like cotton candy with fruit intense the smell i am feeding her she is getting fatter and we will have more weight with this girl if we wait so just watch her go 🤗

What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Added a top layer of soil with added nutes so that only needed to water normally and let the top mix do the work down below. Will mix in more compost tea every other day and towards the end of the week, hit it with my normal organic nutes mix. The plant is looking healthy and continues to flower out and each cola is starting to thicken nicely. I have a few leaves here and there showing some discoloration so will watch closely to ensure I don’t have a light or nute issue. Will move the light intensity to 80% on the LED panels after this next week and as long as the leaves still look good. The grow room is fairly warm (80F) and rH is high (75 – 80rH) but my CO2 levels are fairly high as well so the plants should be fine. Running 2 x HO Solarcure UVBs for 2 hours about an hour after the LED lights turn on at the beginning of the 12 hour set and for 2 hours about an hour before the LEDs turn off at the end of the set.

12.12 Ok finaly girls got their move to 16L root pouches and straight inside the tent. I mixed them nice "soil" with 50L all mix 15L worm castings and 40L of coco coir. I mixed those and gave a good first watering with BiiRhizo, Root Juice, alg a-mic, acti vera, grow, tarantula and voodoo juice. Then I placed netting. I'm gonna use it trellis style not bending much. Planning to keep as short veg as possible, so as soon as I'm happy with their size I'll flip to 12/12. Less than a week I think. Second watering I gave "pre flower" nutes which are listed above. I'll go with those without Nirvana and carbo load untill I'll flip to flower. I use these bottles of advenced nutrients that I have but I won't be buying more I think. Exept NIrvana, Tarantula and Voodoo Juice. They look little droopy maybe because little getting used to new homes but they good now already. Also 600w HID coming to replace 26w LED is kinda shocking at first. But yeah seems like awesome genetics, fat healthy leafs and same goes to stems. 💪 Ok coming back at ya next week, maybe I have flipped when we'll back..hope I wont flip too much 😜😅😝👺👌 HAHappy growing! 👽

I will continue to update once they are dry and ready for cure . I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 114 grams please consider that when it comes to my weight I wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in the night so I want to avoid mold on them so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice . I will update with flavours and other details once I try it I've I have been smoking a different strain that I will review today . After 4 weeks curing in jars the smoke it is very smooth very nice taste like tropical citrusy with a hint of skunk buds are very smelly and hybrid density to them very enjoyable to have . thank you for reading have a happy grow

31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water). ==Update 4 Sept== By mistake, I adjusted the pH twice, once to 7 and once to 8, and obviously the plant immediately showed symptoms of incorrect pH. At the next watering, I'll give Biobizz Grow with a little Biobizz Bloom since the plant has entered pre-flowering. I'll adjust everything to a pH of 6-7 and a ppm of 450-500.
