Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

20 agosto - feed day Ready for harvest!

Week 8 and finally in flower. Grow is going great. No burning or drooping, she is standing at attention soaking up the rays. I Have been defoliating leaves over bud sites and pinching off new lower growth. Started using a bloom booster called Flower Fuel. Used once so far, not sure about results yet. She has a lot of bud sites so far and they are all at a pretty even level. She is stretching now because of flowering so the canopy is a little more uneven. There should be a lot mor bud sites to come up and this plant should have some nice buds. Week 8 picture update - grow still growing great. Everything is praying to the lights! Also no problems with nutrients.

Week 10, so from today I stopped watering the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and on Saturday no more light as well. Sunday is harvest day finally. Not much changed, I raised up the water with 25ml so the Purple Punch gets 200ml 2 x a day. That's all, since last week I started giving 13 hours darkness and 11 hours light and from Monday will be 12/12 after I harvested the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and I can use the tent only for her. Fertilization will happen on the same days. Sunday fun day, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is harvested. Purple Punch left alone. From tomorrow I will switch the light schedule 12/12. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.

We are ROARING into week 4. It's time for our first feed, and I can't wait yo see how this plant comes along. This will be the last week of veg and this coming Friday will be the start of flower! So far we haven't done much feed besides the soil itself and now its time to give her a boost. It's also time for a name so that is gonna be nice too 😁. For the time being though, we are gonna do a feed with Dr. Earth, monitor development and then move on over to the flower tent. Not a lot to update the seedlings have came up out the soil at this point they are still to small to tell any visible differences. I started all the seeds from all 10 packs and and I put 26 of them in soil I now have about 20 of them left I still have atleast one left if every strain. I just kept the 20 plants that all started off at the same time it’s so much easier when there is not some plants behind from the rip. In a few days I will pick out the best one from each of the 10 strains and toss the rest so sad there is a plant count here.

9/25/19 What an insane plant. I am now giving her 3 gallons of feeding every 4 days. When I defoliate the bottom, I think I stressed the plant because one of the top bud’s color changed. I know it’s not light burn because the other bud sites did not do that. Other than that I’ve dropped her feeding to 8ml/gallon from 10ml/gallon. I am seeing some nute burns as well. She’s enjoying the 4x5x8 grow tent. I have 2 x 240W COBs on and the plant is sharing along with 2 x Glueberry OG by Dutch Passion and 2 x White Widow by RQS. I deleted the other diaries because I got too lazy and was too much for me to update them. I really appreciate every one’s support on this plant. Thank you.

Flower girl is amazing

Her leaves are already covered with trichomes 🤩 as you can see the top cola is broken, but not completely. She was too tall so i supercropped it and tied her down so she couldn't stand up again. Other than that everything looks nice. No signs of any kind of dis balance ✌️

These XtraKush are also finally starting to grow. It took them a while but they doubled in a week. Still a little bit pale compared to the other two strains. With a new top layer of first worm castings and then neutral organic cocopeat to combat the gnat problem and we seem to have fixed most problems. Temps are going down at night, I'm trying to fix this by keeping it warmer in the attic where the grow is. In the coming week, I'm going to train/manifold them, they are getting a bit big. Care Bears was an awesome plant to grow, it grew fairly smaller but massive colas on the whole plants. The fruity smells that come off this plant is amazing but also has a hint of that good old dank smell, awesome purple/pinkish colours off of it . Highly recommend growing this strain is you haven’t already. Breed by: firebuds genetics

Day 77, Harvested 3 Plants of 5 in total today as I thought they look perfect,will leave the Other two ones for some more days. I'm curious for the dry weight tbh. the drying Location has 51% RH and 22C° after 5-12 Days of drying I'll start Curing them in Glasses, I'll tell you about the smoke then!! A it late with the update as I broke my phone,. To say it was my 1st harvest was very pleased with the outcome, 38grams dry of mostly tight nugs, trichomes on the main colas were turning Amber so cut those down couple of days earlier and left lower nugs to develop a bit more. Cured for 2 weeks now and buds smelling and smoking great, smooth taste and full of flavour! Next crop been planted very soon.
