Hi to all friends of the green leaf, So, the move to the big tent went well, you can see the strawberries like the space, they started to expand immediately. Today I gave them one last "big" training, they are all starting to bloom nicely. Oh, and lest I forget, for the first time I'm experimenting with adding CO2, I used the normal fermentation process, using yeast, sugar and water. I mixed it all up in a bottle, made a hole in the cap for the tubing, and placed the end of the tubing in a circulation fan. So, have a nice time and keep it growing ! Peace✌️

But 70% will be average grows which I'll be happy once they hit or go by 40g per plant. She has between 15-19% THC.. not normally a preference for myself. I like much stronger phenos. But, I had to give this strain a go. I'm getting round to the classics. As this is more or less what I grew up on as a teen. So, looking forward to tasting this baby. Edit After 30+hrs. Seed was placed on wet substrate that was soaked in 1L of Pure Zym.& Power Roots. After placing the seed i then added 0.1 of a liter of dry substrate on top of the seed. (Just moist soil) this will lower the risk of damping of completely nearly as this won't need watering for at least 10+ days. 1/5th of BatMix was added to the end of the pot with the rest been filled with Royal Mix, both are fertilised soil. But to get Alga Grow going as its an Organic product you should try get that going early. Just a small amount to kick-start the Organic process which takes longer while using Organic products. Pure zym & PR will help it break down any nutes as she's a seedling after all. So, I hope the soil won't be too hot. So, I'll hold off on any NPK feeds for now or anything else until she's into veg. Start of week 5. Week 4 went well, bud site development is going great, she's gaining size and weight. She's growing very densely, I've trimmed many inner leaves and small branches, she's the stickiest of all 4 plants I'm currently growing and her smell is strong and dank!

Buds are now looking ripe. The trichomes are mostly milky and senesance has set in nicely. Pushing until i start seeing 1 or 2 Amber's and then will induce 48hours of darkness to attempt to increase thc production before harvest

Have to cut them early cause they're too crowded with colas, and there are risks for mold. Whole plant weight average at 750g /only flower 400-450g The total flower from 23 plants is 9.95kgs

Today was Harvest, Wet-Trim & Hang, we'll have to wait a bit more for dry-weights, flavours & effects. We were given a couple of clones from a family friend to try our hand at a straight, 8-Week Flowering. With both plants in the tent, we were able to really cut out teeth & watch as each plant responded differently. What was instantly surprising during the initial harvest was the drastic difference in overall yield. I'm sure we over trimmed, early on & as a result, Northern Lights came in looking thinner, taller & by comparison, OGPK came in looking a bit shorter, stout, thicker, heavier & much fuller. At the scales, Northern Lights comes in at 106.56 grams (wet), OGPK 76.4 grams (wet). So, that big buffy, thick look certainly didn't tell the tale. We'll have more in a few weeks once we get dry, trimmed weights & hopefully we'll have some flavours & effects to report!

We’re now in the final stage of the grow. The plants are receiving plain water only, and we’re just watching and waiting for the right harvest window to open up. Trichomes are still showing some clear heads, so I estimate we’ve got around 10 days left, give or take. That would bring us to a total of 14 weeks from sprout to harvest, which is definitely on the longer side for modern autoflowers — but every strain is different! Leaves are fading fast, senescence is well underway, and everything is pointing towards the final phase. 2.2 Plants have been moved into the tall RoyalRoom tent. Tent sits inside Ikea PAX wardrobe, I use RuuviTag meters for temperature and humidity monitoring and a couple UPS devices as a backup power for exhaust fan & led light. I have planted Alfalfa and red clover as a cover crop, also trying out Blumat digital soil humidity meters this round. PPDF at canopy level is at 400-450umol/m2/s, there is a possibility to swap out the solo led drivers for one big one if I want more power for flowering. 3.2 I tied down the tallest branches to the fabric pot to even the plant out, also gave the pots a little Raw nutrients B-vitamin foliar spray. 4.2 Worms added to pots and gave both plants 1L of B-Vit water. 7.2 Tied down the plants, also gave the right side plant 2 litres of water today, 1L for the left one.

No problems this week, plants growing extremely well. I got a new TDS meter, but unfortunately, I was not able to set up a drip system yet. The only training I did was to defoliate the first true leaves and everything below that. One interesting thing that I'm seeing is the fact that Plant B continues to show signs of deformity. On the video, you can see that the right side is missing a node, this missing node corresponds to the deform leaf. Maybe they are related, Plant A was slightly bigger from the beginning, but the node development is bigger in Plant B.

Amelie has settled in well in the new tent and has gained 4cm in height this week. As she had been standing on the piano by the window under a 7W lamp for a really long time, waiting for a tent to finally become available, she had produced a lot of leaf material. This now had to come down. On 08.03.25 I therefore lollipopped and did some defoliation on the leaf canopy. Now it is nice and airy again and can concentrate fully on flowering. Incidentally, the pistils were already visible on 03.03., 8 days after the start of flowering. I had sent the mother into flowering in the previous run and fed her with Biobizz Grow/Bloom/Calmag and Plagron Green Sensation. As I still have a sample of Biobizz Topmax here, I thought I'd give it a try and see what effect it has on the taste. It's supposed to be sweeter, I've heard.
