Day 57:. I am in love with these ladies !!. Their growth had been excellent this week. I went in hard with a defol and clearing out of smaller growth to get the girls spread for flipping soon. They recovered overnight and all sat praying to the Mars gods the next morning. I gave all the pots a top dress of ecothrive charge to work it's way in. The colour and vitality on all of these plants is spot on. They are putting a good size on every couple of days so I dont think I will get much longer before I have to flip them. I am excited to see how they perform in flower now my room is on point now too. Be safe and well folks.

They are moving quickly these days! I’m using FF nutrients, then just water, then a mixture of molasses, recharge, and epsom salt, and then water again. Not sure if I’m overdoing it but they seem happy.

This week was a good one . Stellar initial growth this round after upgrading lights & using homemade super soil. My 3 day old plants looked like 9 day old plants of my last run to give an idea . I watered for the first time since planting on 5/17 . I had to itch to test the runoff since it’d only take a sec right? All the ph’s came out almost 2 points lower than when they went in so I decided on a flush even though I’m using Dry amendments. Honestly I didn’t have the problem of fluctuating ph’s before I added that Peat Moss to my supersoil in hindsight I wish I would have just ordered 1 more 11lb brick of CoCo Coir . I had the idea that I may need to flush a day or two prior to watering when I noticed all my stems purple. I get it could be genetics but ALL of them where purple . Here today it is 1 full day since I flushed & all of the stems are now Green with the exception of my Runtz seedling. 3/17 will make day 7 for Runtz & #1 of the GDP 3/18 will make day 7 for Zkittlez & the 3 remaining GDP. I intended to transplant these ladies day 13 preferably into their forever homes of 3g fabric pots . Fingers crossed day 14 they’ll be ready to start some LST.

The weather's finally starting to warm up. It feels so good to have the sun out and to open the windows. With all this extra sunshine, my pound cake plant is really taking off! It's growing so fast, and it's starting to look really full and healthy. I can almost see tiny buds on the ends of the branches - maybe it'll even have flowers soon!

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Day 80, 2nd of December 2020: Hi there! Ladies are cool everything is alright. In one week buds strated doubeling and the developement is dope haha. The 2 Zamnesia ladies are pretty Gelato is so nice bushy and the smell is great as well. Kalini Asia will be a green pheno I think and she my be hermied a bit on me.... I am still waiting to see I see some strange develepement lets say. Sweet Seeds girls are dope unfortunately Red Mandarine and Tropicanns poison don't show any sign of colouting yet but it is okay even if they green phenos.... It may happen in the end of the flowering cycle let's see. Basically that's all I wanted to share. Oh yes... this one: All good the lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week. Great job Sweet Seeds and Zamnesia! Nice genetics :) Lovely plants!

its a dark and rainy morning but dont worry, it gets sunnier today!🙌 lemonade Runtz is in safehouse, almost being eaten alive, and torn apart by all the spiders(and other mofos), as u can c, but she does not give a F**k! 👊 (i have sprayed her with neemoil mix (neemoil and detergent with luke warm water) this week so i hope all the invaders will stay away a bit..) she grew well this week, those lil holes in leaves will not kill her or her spirit ! 😇👍 happy growing for all✊

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Big difference in the two Cali Snow plants! The centre "Plant 1" is well along in the flowering process with obvious bud sites forming along the small amount of LST I've been able to get going. Got a bit more stretch out of it but it looks like she's settling down but the sativa flowering of this strain is noticeably behind the indica LSD-25 planted same day in my other diary. The other girl "Plant 2" that is far left and was cooked under the dome early in the grow seems to still be in a pre-flower phase and I'm actually getting a lot of decent stretch/growth in the secondary sites. I'll keep an eye on it for the next week to see if I have to set it off myself with a 12/12 cycle but there are a few pistils here and there. Hopefully it's just a little set back in its timing because it's going to turn out to be the biggest of all 3 plants I have going now. Will have the best veg base for flowering for sure. Hopefully I won't have to set it to 12/12 and rob the other two plants I have further along in flower of a few hours of light a day. Gave another feed with upped nutes but still playing it on the low side. Going up a little each feeding and no signs of burn on any of the girls yet. Making sure I'm chasing feeds with plain water and spraying the top layer with plain water here and there to keep any build up at bay; Since the girls aren't big enough for full pot runoff feeds due to small size. Day 48 - 12/16 You can see how different the timing on the two Cali Snow are. I'm loving the extra time with Plant 2 to set up bigger secondary branches and the pistils still seem to be SLOWLY forming near the top and mature sites. In an attempt to avoid switching her to 12/12 to fully trigger the flower, I've let the temperature drop down a bit to the high teens with the light on by lettering in the winter air and keeping the tent open with lights on. Hopefully the lower temp here and there over the next couple days will get it moving. Plant 1 is well along in it's flower. The bud sites are well defined and the stretch seems to be wrapping up bringing it in just a bit bigger than my small LSD-25 in my other diary going right now. Pulled it out and reset some new LST on the plant with a less drastic lean. Clipped a few fan leaves and 3 fingers from the two Cali's, anything blocking light or bunching up too much but tried to leave as much as possible for energy production. The classic Cali Snow smell I was warned about is starting to come in. Even P2 with little to no flowers is throwing off a nice scent. Still tent contained without exhaust for now so no worries on that front. Day 50 - 12/18 Gave them their biggest feeding today in both nutes and volume. Both split a mix of 1ml each PH Perfect MGB with 1tsp Molasses in a gallon of water with a half gallon plain water chase. First time the plants have been big/thirsty enough for a run-off feeding. Will spray top layer in a day to clean top layer of any residue then top with D-Earth sprinkle to let sit until next feed. These girls have gone from identical to fraternal twins. P2 on the left is looking more like the plant I wanted in terms of size and spread. The set back in flowering time has really allowed me to train it up and get lower branches up to a pseudo-canopy. It looks like it's FINALLY about to make the final switch as the still bright pre-flower tops are starting to shoot more pistils and new leaf growth has that telltale upward point as the spread comes to an end. P1 is full flower swing is chugging along nicely as I opened her up main stem up with some selective defoliation and the thin sativa bud structure is slowly but surely coming in. As a new grower, seeing the fatten/faster Indica flower of my LSD-25 right next to the Sativa on the same schedule is a great observational experience. 👽 The smell of the two Cali Snows are finally starting to ripen up. Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Can’t wait to see what we do this week ! Hopefully you all enjoy, and are ready for another great productive week !
