hi all. Here we are finally here with some of the ladies out and hanging to dry. It had been a fun week with trimming and hanging the Girl Scout cookie ladies. They finished so perfectly with a beautiful colour and terpenes oozing off them. Everytime I go up to the room , their sweet smell hits me before I get to see the other ladies. With about 6 days for #2 and 4 for #1 , I expect a few more days before they are even close to jar ready for a cure. Thankfully as they are organic and not needing to deal with leftover sodium based nutes, the terpenes should remain fairly intact with the very low 8°c and plenty of airflow keeping them rotating slowly. Rh is around 50% but not a mould risk thanks to the draughty eaves. The remaining Amnesia Haze ladies are like wound springs now. They are still 2 weeks from their supposed harvest time but look ready now. If I didn't know that there is a second flush about to pop them wide open and swell them even more , it would be easy to pull them before their true ending . Still very smokable at this stage now but i am confident that they will have a second flush of fresh pistils any day now. There are signs of it starting on a couple of the mains so i will be using the Dragon force to support this for about 7 days , which is designed to boost them at their finishing stages. I rate this product and use it every grow. Well worth a look. The natural fading and the temperature drops at lights off are creating some amazing colours throughout the canopy now too. Thankfully experience allows me to enjoy this kaleidoscope of autumnal colours and not panic that I have a major deficiency going down. There are some nicely cannabalising leaves in the canopy too which is also a good sign that they are performing just as nature intended and gorging on the stored goodness from the big fans left on. They are a multi purpose leaf for the whole process from veg to finish , they change their role as the grow progresses and as soon as she notices that they are taking more to keep alive and become a sink instead of a gain , she will cannabalising the stores built up and shed the leaf herself. This is why I get stuck with the whole defoliation debate. The first thing I have to say about this variety is amazing! Very healthy and powerful, it develops quickly and smells good, it surpasses my past cycles in its cultivar which were ultra haze and the current white bubba cycle. Two weeks have passed and I do not plan to fertilize for the properties and minerals contained in the soil, at the moment I think enough. Well, we are waiting for 3 weeks!

The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet!

Day 61: I left them in darkness for 3 days and just switched on the lamp for 12/12 with today the foirst day of the 9th week. Fertilization goes on the same days with the nutrients above and water intake approx 250 ml per plant per day. Nice green color comes they always look nice after darkness :) Lets' go. Day 66: Growing growing growing...

This lady is chugging along chasing the strain next to her and has been having a bit of a hard time against this slowed growth.. I've tried less water but still it hasn't really helped yet will watch and wait for that explosion.. cheers

No more balls to be found. Have looked and plucked what I did see. There looking quality already this soon in. Not gonna be huge yeilds but quality is there !

This is just a normal week, they grow as fast as mushrooms, I gave them blooming nutes for the first time, they will start producing buds from now. :)

(12-8)Roots are growing. Emily is increasing height everyday. My humidity is really low (low 30's) so I have ordered a small humidifier to put in the A.B.L.E. Grow Chamber. Music selection includes Nirvana, Lou Reed, Joy Division, Fugazi and Led Zepplin. will keep my pH between 5.8 and 6. will also post end of week photos. (12-9) Added small humidifier to the chamber. It raises the humidity by @ 15% which is OK but I need more humidity for my clone these first weeks. Have ordered a larger humidifier and hopefully that will get me in the high 60's. I'm around 45% at the moment with the small humidifier. (12-10) The large humidifier did the trick. Got humidity up to 70% and I also installed a drip ring around the top of the container so hopefully that will help the roots grow better.

This week she is getting sweet smelling and very frosty. She is very healthy in all ways. Switched lights to 12 on 12 off. Also thanks to my broski @budbanditUk I did some defoilage of the bigger fan leave es to bring the light to the bottom of my lady for full light penetration

CBD Star bud seem to be thickening up despite obvious signs of deficiencies, likely due to a pH induced nutrient lock out. Phosphorus, nitrogen, calcium, manganese, molybdenum? It’s basically the periodic table of deficiencies. Main cola started to turn purple due to molybdenum deficiency? Found a spider mite on Cheese… sprayed the leaves down with a 1:10 alcohol:water solution which seems to have taken care of the mites.

Everything is going great! Watering every fourth day. I’m spreading them out and trying to get a nice and even canopy. I also may add another small led later. Haven’t made up my mind on that yet.

11/12: day 35 of flower. final defoliation - just on autopilot now. These ladies should now be moving on to that last stretch of maturity. And so I did a final defoliation. The dramatic differences between all 4 of these is interesting to say the least. #4 is probably my favorite pf the group. It is so frosty compared to the other 3 and its not even close. #1 is the monster of the bunch with #3 close behind it. Both of those plants have grown monster buds considering I'm only in week 5-6. #2 is just a disappointment all together. It is small, has produced only small popcorn nugs. They all now smell very strongly of sweet lemon chemicals/fuel. The smells dramatically changed this week and im hoping it gets even more smelly. I am still very frustrated with the lack of purple. So much so that i am considering tossing all of the clones i have for these cause i dont yet see a reason to keep a mother. I was after the purple and lemon. I have lots of green lemon smelling seeds that i already know love the bud from. I am looking forward to the next week as these start to finish up.

The purple Lemonade despite a very beautiful structure is a little worrying us because the flowers are swelling very slowly. We are afraid that they will remain small but it seems they are getting bigger so we wait a little longer to express ourselves even if the painta seems in excellent health. Bloom is slow.
