Eccoci ragazzi alla terza settimana! La pianta sta crescendo ad un ritmo davvero elevato, nn ho mai visto nulla del genere crescere con questa velocità! E anche il colore delle foglie di un verde intenso, è la grandezza totale della pianta sono fenomenali! Sono davvero impressionato, non mi sarei mai aspettato che la coltura in idroponica sia così poderosa e significativamente molto più sviluppata rispetto ad una coltivazione in terra! Me ne avevano parlato molto di questa capacità di crescita così rapida, ma davvero nn sto credendo ai miei occhi! Sto imparando molto grazie anche al manuale di texier, ma sopratutto penso siano i suoi nutrienti a fare gran parte della differenza! Le radici sono davvero ben sviluppate e per adesso non ho mai cambiato l acqua xke mi è sempre sembrato di un ottimo colore, e non noto alcun problema per adesso dal out o di vista radicale, probabilemnte grazie alle basse temperature della soluzione che nn supera i 20 gradi celsius e questo penso sia un grande vantaggio che tende a non far sviluppare funghi o microrganismi maligni per lo sviluppo della pianta! Per adesso sono davvero piacevolmente sorpreso dei risultati che sto ottenendo! Spero di continuare in questa direzione e di avere sempre la giusta conoscenza di questo nuovo tipo di coltivazione così chiamata da William texier "bio - ponica" una giusta terminologia per descrivere qualcosa di coltivato biologico senza uso di pesticidi o altro, e che sia fatta in acqua senza suolo! Garzie anche al sistema di Mars Hydro Dwc che per adesso si sta rivelando un ottimo sistema idroponico! Posso solo dire garzie di far parte della loro famiglia e anche quella di Terra Aquatica, è spero di continuare con questi ottimi risultati! L unico problema del loro sistema è il cambio Dell acqua, che xo penso si aver risolto comprando una pompa che mi aiuti a svuotare completamente la soluzione vecchia e sostituirla con quella nuova.. Grazie a tutti voi che mi seguite che siete da stimolo per continuare questa battaglia di coltivare questa mia passione per la cannabis che nel mio paese "Italia" è ormai perseguitata e sta diventando illegale pure il CBD nonostante nn sia psicoattivo, e sta portando al. Not much to say here, plants are growing nicely and overall look fine to me. i topped the bigger ones at the end of the week above the 4th node and the new branches are starting to develop. They get a little bit thirstier and drink more often and i think in the next week i'm going to put the small ones in bigger pots. So lets get into the next week :)

***** Week 6 May 16 to 22, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination ***** Calling this a flower week but it certainly is more of transition week. Been battling a busy life along with pH issues this grow. Starting to get both under control😃 These girls were transplanted into 3 gal plastic pots after battling pH issues and unable to bring down below 7.1 until cut out of fabric pots.........piss off!!! Cheap fabric pots from Amazon are a thing of the past!!!! 😡😡😡 Ordering Radical bags👍 During transplant GSC2 took it hard. She got twisted coming out of the old pot and it was a bit of a disaster😢..........GSC went very well and her root mass stayed together.😃 GSC2 is a freak and I am learning more from her. Growing out almost sideways from the pot. Keeping an eye on the main stem to ensure she doesn’t start to rot at the soil level........may trim off a couple of more branches. Her root mass won’t be very big so think I will take more branches and let her focus on building the density of a few bud sites rather than spreading a little to several sites. LST introduced this week as well. Started the introduction of Rezin and Terpinator now. Little more detail.......... May 16/20 - Day 36 - 2L each girl of Massive @ 3ml, VeloKelp, Rezin, @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1000ppm and 4.5pH - stop lower the pH as much next feeds. 5.5 idea now and see how they react. I really want 6.2 going in!!!!😞 - GSC2 is concern as she took the transplant poorly with her whole root mass being flipped over and on top of herself. May 17/20 - Day 37 - Mixed 3L water with Massive @ 2.5ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag @ 1ml = 1050ppm and 5.5pH - GSC given 2L and GSC2 only 1L. - giving them more microbes and beneficials next couple of feeds with more Piranha and Voodoo again. - stripped more leaves today. GSC2 took more lower stuff as well.,,.....so bushy on the bottom. May 18/20 - Day 38 - mixed 3.5L water with Massive @ 3ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel, Rezin, Liquid Wt, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml = 850ppm and 5.7pH - checked some runoff numbers today...... - GSC runoff was 400ppm and 5.8pH. - GSC2 runoff was 550ppm and 6.2pH - PH is back in line!!!!!!🙌🙌 - GSC is coming along but her branches are not as thick as I would like. Side branches are getting longer. - GSC2 is a mess in general😀 She is shooting out fan leaves and they leaves are getting bigger but she is not getting any bigger?? - LST day today and GSC had some branches pulled down. Leaving GSC2 for now., May 19/20 - Day 39 - dry out day - just left them alone today😃 May 20/20 - Day 40 - 2L each girl of water with Rhino skin, CalMag, Sensyzime @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 650ppm and 6.1pH - there was some runoff from GSC2 only. - girls look happy overall today. May 21/20 - Day 41 - 3L water mixed with Rezin and Terpinator @ 1.5ml = 160ppm and 5.7pH - was going to be a plain water feed but changed last minute and its time for Terpinator. - the girls are not overly happy today.....not sure why - all girls seem to be responding well to the LST over last couple of days. May 22/20 - Day 42 - dry out day - Both girls still trying to set bud sites but no success yet.

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. Nous somme à la 6ème semaines de floraison tout se passe comme prévu les bourgeons continuent de gonflés les paramètres sont excellents 24 degrés en température 55% en hydrometrie. - L'ajout de RQS guano a redonner un coup pouce à la plante les bourgeons ont sacrément gonfler aimer et regarder par vous même. Cet semaine sera aussi la dernière irrigation avec nutes. Ce run est l'une de mes préférée. Léger carences en azote post-stretch cela es dû a un faible apport de celui-ci mais rien de grave cela indique les derniers semaine de vie de cette dame le rinçage sera simple et éfficace. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! É stato il mio primo ciclo di coltivazione e purtroppo ho fatto molti errori che mi serviranno da esperienza. Ho sbagliato inizialmente la distanza della lampada e le piccole si sono allungate troppo, poi ho iniziato LST forse troppo presto e non sono riuscito a orientare bene i rami per farle crescere tutte alla stessa altezza infatti alcuni fiori sono proprio piccolo rispetto ad altri, altro errore quello di non misurare il PH e questo mi ha portato ad avere inizialmente carenze di fosforo e potassio per poi continuare con calcio. Ho sbagliato le dosi di fertilizzanti che dal prossimo ciclo alzerò per provare ad avere risultati maggiori in termini di quantità e infine come ultimo errore riconosco di aver iniziato il flush troppo presto (17 giorni di flush) quando avrei potuto dargli almeno ancora un’altra irrigata di fertilizzanti per far gonfiare i fiori. Nonostante tutto sono contento ed é stato molto divertente e istruttivo, ora le piante stanno seccando e poi le passerò in concia per provare finalmente il sapore. Ho fatto una pesata a umido solo di una pianta perché tutte e due insieme non ci stavano ma credo sia sballata come misurazione quindi peserò direttamente a secco. A secco sono risultati puliti 68g, ho fatto una concia di 3 settimane e il sapore é davvero buono. Sballo da divano, molto potente come effetto. Sono molto soddisfatto

This is week 2 from our of the humidity dome by the way (more details to come in the week 1 diary). In week 2 these girls are looking very good! Very nice color overall and nice growth. The clones clones I cut before switching mom to flower are taller, but the ones I cut after switching to flower are bushier. There are 7 clones of Cherry by Elevator Supply Co, these are a High CBD Hemp plant that I am growing and will continue to grow for producing CBD products. I am also a licensed Hemp Farmer. Then I have a clone of DinaMed CBD+ from DinaFem and 2 DinaMed CBD+ seedlings. Next, I have 3 clones of Cream & Cheese CBD from Seedsman and 1 clone of Critical+ from DinaFem. Last I have 2 CBD Medi Kush from Spliff Seeds. I have a separate diary for the CBD Medi Kush from Spliff Seeds, check it out 👍 I don't plan on feeding anything for a while and let the plants use up the nutrients in the soil.
