As for questionable techniques, I adhere to the principle - if it doesn’t get worse, why not try?😄 So, I put the harvested crop in a dark ventilated box, for about 10 days, I will observe. p.s. Week 7 was on auto pilot until I realized it was 1 more plant to transplant. Since I got to transplant(work), every plant went to the hair salon(LST, Defoli, Fiming). My first time and I must admit I regret it. 😅 my plants look naked, I felt bad so I added Kelp into the NUTE line up....... I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm doing it at 150mph.

I have been blown away every at step with this plant, my first grow! I've grown before but not like this and that is why I refer to myself as a newbie or this being the first time. Dutch Passion was an obvious choice for me as they were the only legit seeds I ever had experience with many many years ago. Watching the Auto Orange develop "daily" and the scent getting more and more focused was a joy and even with a window on the tent I found myself opening it enough to get my head in and get a good back of the nose full creamy citrusy assault.

It's been a great week to watch bud sites continue to develop thoroughly across the top of the canopy. The plant I have in the scrog net is the bigger of the two so it got a heavier defoliation particularly near the bottom of the plant. -I added Humboldt secret golden tree (0-0-2) to my nutrient mix to help boost nutrition to the root zone. It is expensive stuff but the plants can't get enough of it. I have been giving really heavy feedings (1200 ppm or 2.4 EC) every other water, but soon I'm going to taper off and focus on feeding more calcium and carbon than anything else. -I increased my CO2 dosage to about 1400 ppm - I have increased my light intensity to roughly 80% on all three of my lights.. I probably won't go much higher I never run my lights at 100% -Trichome development has really taken off.. plants have developed a sweet & gassy smell.. the structure of these girls is UNREAL.. Hi guys, just a quick info for whoever read this diary: I started this run with two plants but during Week 9 (57 days: 49 vegetative + 8 flowering) I had to remove the one on the right due slow growth (issue started after I topped her). Enjoy the reading. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 Third run begins. 🍪🍦Cookies Gelato by RQS, my first time with photoperiods. I created this diary at the end of January but due some problem with the new drip system (too ph oscillations), I decided to go back to my first love: the DWC. This time, however, I decided to build my own DWC, taking into account the negative aspects that I find in the expensive DWC of various brands. This tank has about 50 liters capacity and on the bottom I have inserted a metal tap that will help me with the solution changes. The lid is made up of two parts, the upper one on which I made a hole in which I inserted a 2 liter planter full of expanded clay and the two root riot; the front part of the lid is magnificent because it opens and allows me to do a quick check of PH and EC. This time I'm going to count the days from the germination date. I'm going to VEG for about 40 days, then switch to 12/12 for about 70 days. I plan on topping the plants during week 4, then defoliation + SCROG during week 5, switch 12/12 during week 6. Then lollipopping at the end of the stretch. In this run I will use my new MARS HYDRO TS1000 2022 (already have one with 2021 MOSO driver), bought a few days ago to test the latest model with the proprietary Mars Hydro driver. I'm sure there will be further improvement in my performance 💪. No sponsor for me yet, what I have is what I bought but I hope someone can help me to bring my crops to the next level. I'm planning to buy a new 90x90 tent and a nice 300/480 watt lamp would be very nice. Crossed fingers! 🤞 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱GERMINATION STAGE🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 - 20/2/23: seeds in a glass of demineralized water, 2 drops of rootbastic and 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide for 24 hours, then in root riot; - 21/2/23: seeds under TS1000: 100 cm distance / 33% dimmer = 50 watt; - 22/2/23: first Cookies Gelato sprouted; - 23/2/23: second Cookies Gelato sprouted. - Got some gift from RQS, really appreciated. I'll consider tomorrow as 1° day of veg for all 2 seedlings. I'll switch 'em to 12/12 after 40/45 days of veg.

Well not much to say this week, no defoliation, no top dressing, just watching the plants filling in and get frosty!! ❄️😁. All four girls are looking pretty darn happy with life. Although #3 is a lighter color they're all fed and watered the same so I'll just chalk it up to different pheno. Two of the girls are starting to show purple on the leaves and a pinkish hue on the bud sites. 🤞For some awesome colors! Still watering every 3 days but now 14L instead of 12L. No drooping on water day but soil nice and dried out so timing is working 👍. Picked a few leaves (maybe a dozen or so each) off #1 and #2, but they didn't get defoliated quite as well so not surprised. Just leaves that were really bunched up or below canopy with no light. Here's hoping for another good week!
