Week 6 was another strong week for the two Candy Hustle phenotypes. Both plants are now well into flower production, with the buds continuing to gain size and structure across the canopy. The difference between the two phenotypes is becoming increasingly noticeable, especially when it comes to their aroma. 🌿 Resin production is looking very promising at this stage. The flowers and surrounding sugar leaves are developing a heavy layer of trichomes, with some of the larger colas already looking extremely frosty. ❄️ There are still plenty of fresh white pistils visible on several tops, so both plants clearly still have more swelling and development ahead of them. Candy Hustle #1, the plant in the front, is currently developing the more unusual terpene profile of the two. Her aroma is dominated by sweet grape notes combined with a very noticeable mint/menthol character. 🍇🌿 It creates a really interesting combination of sweetness and freshness that is becoming easier to recognize as the flowers mature. Candy Hustle #2 is heading in a different direction. Her aroma reminds me much more of a Skittles-style profile, sweet, fruity and candy-like, although the individual notes are still difficult to describe precisely at this point. 🍬 Both phenotypes are clearly developing their own character now. 🌡️ Temperature: ~25°C 💧 RH: ~55% 💡 Light: 1000–1200 PPFD 🌿 Orgatrex: 1x this week 🌱 BioEnhancer: 1x this week UV is now part of the lighting schedule in this tent as well. Exposure is being increased by 15 minutes every three days until reaching a maximum of 60 minutes per day. No major training was necessary during Week 6. The canopy and branch structure are already established, so the focus now is simply on allowing the flowers to continue stacking, swelling and increasing their resin production. Overall, both Candy Hustle phenotypes are progressing very nicely. The combination of increasingly dense flowers, strong trichome coverage and two clearly different terpene profiles makes them especially interesting to follow at this stage. 🌱❄️ Candy Hustle #1 with her sweet grape and mint/menthol profile is probably the more unusual of the two right now, while #2 is developing that sweeter Skittles-like candy character. 🍇🍬 I’m especially curious to see how much these aromas intensify and change as the flowers move through the final part of bloom. 🔥

Started the first week of flowering 💚🌱

18.06 A way more late update of this grow as I usually provide for two reasons - first I didn't had any time to control or keep care of this grow during the last weekend, second: due to the first point I run into a problem I needed to identify before I update my journal. As you can see in the video there is one plant with some kind of brown leave tips and yellow sugar leaves. I am not 100% sure why this happened but I think it could be some kind of wind burn. I didn't noticed that one slot of my power strips wasn't working anymore, this slot was turning on and off some fans. So the fans just blow straight at least for two days in a row against the plants. Beside that I raised the speed of my main fan a bit a week ago and the plant that is the nearest to this fan show the signs on the leaves I notice here. So I fixed the fans and observed the plants a bit more in detail the last days. The problem didn't developed further so I think this is fine now. There can also be some other reasons, as I wrote last week I changed a bit my nutrient scheme but since I wasn't above EC 2 at all I am not really comfortable with this theorie. Anyway, I closed the tank from sunday to monday so the plants just had what was left in the autopot system and used that until the next light schedule. Afterwards I changed my nutrient scheme back to the classic Hesi scheme. The plants are really well, the trichomes are still clear so I think we have at least until 3 weeks to harvest. The plants will become next week full scheme, afterwards I will check the trichomes again and decide if I start to reduce the scheme or not as we come closer to the harvest.

What's up growmies 🤟🏽 Week number 4 is in the books🙌🏾 Today marks the official start of week 5 and just like my previous grows all my autos are starting to preflower. Like clockwork it starts around week 5 so it lets me know these are right on schedule. I am really focusing on keeping the main cola ties down to keep the canopy as even as possibly. Typically in the past I would stop tying them down during flowering and the main cola would outgrow the rest and dominate. This grow I am continuously tying the main cola down. They all are pretty even except for Caramelicious, her main cola is just a stud and won't bend to 180 w/o me snapping the main stalk. She still is my favorite though and it's my 7th time growing her (I plant at least 1 Caramelicious each grow) The nutrient schedule remains the same. I am feeding them General Hydroponics Flora series. (Floragro, FloraMacro, FloraBloom) I am mixing what the manufacturer recommends for 1 gallon into 3 gallons, so I'm giving roughly 1/3rd what's recommended and it seems to be the sweet spot for my set up and environment. All the plants are doing well and are not showing any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity at this point. The weather here in VA has been pretty cold which makes it perfect humidity wise for my indoor grow, without having to blast my Cloud intake system, or even turn on the dehumidifier which won't last long because they are starting to flower and will take up more volume increasing humidity so I expect to have to use them both in the next few weeks. It appears a spider has made it's home in my tent (I see webbing in one corner of the tent) I figured it'll take care of pests for me and is not harmful so I am leaving it be for now. Welcome back to my Strawberry Cheesecake diary by seedsman! We're wrapping up week 7 here and everything is on track and moving along swimmingly. We put down a healthy top dressing of build of flower with just a touch of bokashi bran, so that should be plenty of bloom nutrients for this auto I figure. We'll just keep watch and if we have to ill give her a light compost tea in few weeks, but all in all things are looking amazing on this plant! Thanks for stopping by.

Day 53 of flower today. I filled the reservoir from empty and stopped using the macro. I replaced it with General hydroponics Ripen at 5ml a gallon. Everything is frosty and smells good. As far looks I like the RC the best and the PE the least. I'm going to end up with a sheet ton of it out of the 3 so I hope I'm wrong! 😆 I'm going to do a lower defoliation mid week to get more air flowing. RH is stable but I just want to be careful 🧐 being this close to the finish line. This is definitely one of the easiest runs I've had. It seems PE is pretty maxed when it comes to nutrition but LMC and RC could take a bit more. My PE phenotype is super stretchy compared to them as well.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Plus I did a defoliation taking most fan leafs off them allowing the lower branches to receive more light. Started seeing a couple rust spots so I'll add a little cal-mag maybe with the next feeding. Se nota una producción de resina notable en esta genética que nos ha gustado mucho por su olor y estructura de las plantas . hemos creado un video por cada una de las 14 plantas del seguimiento, hay varias muy llamativas que están "pre-seleccionadas" para mantener a futuro, el olor que se llega a sentir es muy florar y dulce, si tienen alguna pregunta no duden en preguntar saludos. There is a remarkable resin production in this genetics that we liked a lot for its smell and structure of plants. The Hobbit Hole Outdoor Grow 2026 Woche 3 – Die Sonne kehrt zurück Nach zwei Wochen voller Regen, Wind und kleiner Rückschläge hat sich das Wetter endlich auf die Seite des Hobbit Hole geschlagen. Die vergangenen Tage brachten genau das, worauf die vier kleinen Damen gewartet hatten: Sonne, Wärme und deutlich bessere Bedingungen für Wachstum. Und auch wenn die Pflanzen noch weit von ihrer späteren Größe entfernt sind, war der Unterschied innerhalb weniger Tage deutlich sichtbar. Zum ersten Mal seit dem Einsetzen ins Freiland konnte man morgens tatsächlich erkennen, dass sie über Nacht gewachsen waren. Die schwierige Anfangsphase scheint damit überstanden zu sein. Die Wurzeln haben inzwischen genug Zeit gehabt, sich im Boden des ehemaligen Fichtenhangs auszubreiten, und nun beginnt das Wachstum oberhalb der Erde spürbar anzuziehen. Besonders die Cinderella hat in dieser Woche einen kleinen Zwischensprint eingelegt. Das erste dreifingrige Blattpaar ist inzwischen deutlich stärker ausgeprägt als bei den anderen Pflanzen und sie übernimmt aktuell die Führung im Hobbit Hole. Direkt dahinter folgt die Guava Runtz, die weiterhin sehr vital wirkt und sich zu einer ernsthaften Konkurrentin entwickelt. Gelato zeigt sich wie gewohnt ausgeglichen und gesund. Kein hektisches Wachstum, aber eine sehr saubere und stabile Entwicklung. Die Purple Punch bildet momentan zwar noch das Schlusslicht, macht aber ebenfalls sichtbare Fortschritte. Nach ihrem ungewollten Bodenkontakt in der vergangenen Woche wirkt sie inzwischen deutlich erholt und schiebt neues Wachstum nach. Auch die Schutzmaßnahmen scheinen ihren Zweck zu erfüllen. Die Kupferringe halten weiterhin stand und bisher konnten weder Schnecken noch andere Gartenbewohner ernsthaften Schaden anrichten. Was mich in dieser Woche besonders gefreut hat, war die Entwicklung des gesamten Platzes. Vor wenigen Tagen standen hier noch vier kleine Sämlinge, die gegen Regen und Wind kämpfen mussten. Inzwischen beginnt das Hobbit Hole langsam genau das zu werden, was ich mir vorgestellt habe: ein kleiner versteckter Outdoor-Grow mitten zwischen Brombeeren, Holunder und jeder Menge Natur. Noch ist es nur der Anfang. Aber zum ersten Mal habe ich das Gefühl, dass die Pflanzen nicht mehr einfach nur überleben, sondern anfangen zu wachsen. Und genau darauf habe ich gewartet.
