Heeey! 👋 Here's the third week of flower or the 2nd with actually visible buds! And some have grown quite a lot in such little time, nice! 😁 And the plant stretched a lot too! Sooo, everything is going well, or it seems that way! If anything what's happening is that I'm still taking too long to water my plants (but they do recover fast!) 😖 and I'm also giving them all the proper nutrients they need (I was missing one last week, oops!). I also defoliated my babies this week. Hopefully the lower buds will thank me later! 😃 I'd like to add as well that all the previous issues that were visible on Matcha seem to be gone, which is good! Her leaves are healthier (a little too dark maybe) and there is no more "tigering" in her leafs! Once both stop growing I'll start giving them the rest of the nutrients to fatten up the buds, but I'll let you all know before I do it! Thanks for reading and I hope you all enjoy the photos!

next time i have to veg more then 4 weeks to increase yield. it finishes quickly and big yield for the short veg time. im also very happy with the optic 4 wich made the buds dense from top to bottom. i might upgrade to cocos or hydro next grow, or maybe both ;)

Bending the plant makes it stronger

Journal de culture – Semaine 4 de croissance (fin) Je ne suis vraiment pas satisfait de la plante, que je trouve faiblarde et manquant de vitalité. Son développement est lent, et je suspecte que la température, qui descend peut-être trop bas la nuit, pourrait en être la cause. Cependant, même le pied-mère de cette variété n’a pas une croissance exceptionnelle, ce qui me fait penser que le phénotype de cette variété n’est peut-être pas très bon. Pour ne pas perdre trop de temps, j’ai décidé de la passer en floraison aujourd’hui, avec un cycle de lumière 12-12. J’ai également changé la soupe et préparé 20 litres avec les nutriments nécessaires à la floraison. Sachant que cette variété a tendance à beaucoup stretcher, j’ai pratiqué du LST (Low Stress Training) pour recourber les sommités. Cependant, j’ai accidentellement cassé un apex, laissant seulement trois apex au lieu de quatre. Bien que je ne sois pas satisfait de cette plante ni du pied-mère, je vais finaliser cette culture et passer à une autre variété ensuite. 🇺🇸Cultivation Journal – Week 4 of Vegetative Growth (End) I’m really not satisfied with the plant; it seems weak and lacks vitality. Its development is quite slow, and I suspect the nighttime temperatures might be dropping too low. However, even the mother plant of this strain doesn’t show great growth, so I’m thinking the phenotype might not be very good. To avoid wasting more time, I’ve decided to switch it to flowering today, setting the light cycle to 12-12. I also replaced the nutrient solution, preparing 20 liters with the ingredients required for flowering. Knowing this strain stretches a lot, I applied LST (Low Stress Training) to bend the tops. Unfortunately, I broke one of the four apexes, so now there are only three left. Even though I’m not happy with this plant or the mother plant, I’ll finish this grow and move on to another strain afterward.

So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Weird week, Nitrogen toxicity. As of 3 days ago I started on nutes. My soil only has nitrogen in it, so it makes sense. She does look better today but eh. Leaves are dry as heck, humidity is about 50% ish she is feeding good, good runoff and PH. She is a chronie and thats all she is going to be. I'm mostly just seeing what she can do. I can smell weed when I go down in my basement but when I open the tent I have no smell/ or mine sucks cause I smoke too much upstairs lol. I notice a few amber hairs today but they look a bit bigger and fluffy. Not much to update. BIG shout out to @jinks101 for helping me out and answering all my questions!! Hi growers, Another week of flowering is behind us. Trichome production is very strong, the aroma is intense and pungent, and the buds are noticeably sticky. The plant is still gaining weight, but rather slowly. I think this plant won’t be a yield champion, but the flavor and aroma could easily make up for it. Peace and happy growing ✌️
