Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Onto the dragon force for last week and then a week of water. Alot of cloudy still some clear hopefully I time it right. She's supper frosty and dense.

This will be the last week of veggie for the girls. I'll be switching them over this weekend to their flowering schedule. I noticed that some of the newer leaves on the top are lighter than the other leaves, they are yellowish. I added some calmag to their diet because I realized I'd never given them any. I'll be monitoring that to make sure it doesn't get worse. Overall... color me HAPPY heheheee 😃

Week 15 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers She got a MASSIVE defoliation... session done to her. She looks a little naked as of now but she will bounce back nicely by next week😇 She really needed it, it was so bushy before you couldn't even put your arm into the plant to figure out what was what😂 Oddly enough 30% of the plant seems to be in pre-flower when the rest doesn't... She does get shaded the quickest in the garden but wouldn't expect her to be flowering already... Still hasn't been watered since the rain last week but i may have to give water once this week as we have 40+ degrees incoming 😰

Wich from my Growmies here ever recognised such a Mutation? She started already Crazy from Day 1 she 3 cotylides and 3 mainbranches instead of 2 Like its normal ! She is thriving so beautyfull Even with that specialty

No res change right now, still working with a fresh res. Low PPM, pH is dropping, leaves are turning crisp. Added some H202 today. They slowed water uptake, nutrient uptake, have had some heat spikes with weather and 3rd light, turned down 3rd light to about 80% power.

7/18 - Transplanted all three ladies into 3 gallon pots. As I did I sprinkled Oregonism XL (mycorrhizae) to the root ball to assist the roots in adhering happily to the soil. Then I watered with RO water and CalMag. 7/20 - Fed with liquid nutrients 7/22 - Started the brew on Terp Tea Grow. Gave all a light water and a foliar spray of Extreme Serene. 7/24 - Top dressed with Elemental (calcium supplement) and watered with the Terp Tea Grow. Both ladies are looking healthy and strong. They are full and vibrant. Will be flipping to flower at the end of next week! 7/25 - Check out Struggling Jack! She is the biggest one of all three! You would never guess she ever struggled. It's my opinion that the struggle actually made her stronger. Go Jack!
