🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. During this third week, vertical growth accelerated while maintaining short internodal spacing, creating a compact but well-structured plant that looks perfectly suited for the 12/12 method. The main stem has thickened noticeably and is already showing excellent strength. Side branches are emerging evenly from every node, indicating that this phenotype should build a very uniform flowering structure over the coming weeks. The newest growth is vibrant lime green, gradually darkening as the leaves mature, while the larger fan leaves remain a rich healthy green with no visible signs of nutrient stress or deficiencies. ⸻ 👀 Structural Observations One characteristic that immediately stands out on Plant B is its strong central leader. Unlike some phenotypes that naturally spread laterally early on, this individual seems determined to build a dominant main cola while simultaneously producing vigorous secondary branches. Node spacing remains pleasantly tight, giving the plant a compact architecture without becoming overcrowded. As more side shoots develop, the canopy is beginning to fill naturally while maintaining excellent airflow through the interior. The leaves remain flat, fully expanded and symmetrical, with strong petioles supporting each fan leaf. New shoots are developing quickly from every node and there are no signs of nutrient burn, deficiencies or environmental stress. The feeding schedule appears to be matching the plant’s demand very well, supporting vigorous growth while keeping the foliage clean and healthy. ⸻ 📸 Photo Notes This week’s photographs clearly highlight the symmetrical canopy developing from above, while the side profile showcases the increasing stem thickness and vigorous branching beginning at every internode. En esta semana aplicamos solo base de floración así preparamos nuestras plantas para la segunda dosis de #bigone de @topcrop 🕶️🤠. En las fotos se puede apreciar un ejemplar especial de la Kriticalbilbo, tenía un brazo creciendo al mismo tiempo del central sufrió un ataque gatuno y la dejó gravemente herida, gracias a la habilidad del jardinero se logró amarrar y salvar, ahora es la más hermosa de las #kriticalbilbo con más de 8 brazos engordando a full 🕶️🤠😁 Comentarios y sugerencias les leo siempre... 😇 Recuerden seguirme en instagram como @Cecilioeljardinero.

Week 6 - Transition to Flower (First Bloom Week) The Donutz squad has officially entered the bloom phase, kicking off the first week of flower in style. The upgrade to 7L pots has gone smoothly, and the plants are thriving in their new space. Monday marked the start of the flowering cycle, and everything is set up for an efficient and productive Sea of Green. Setup Adjustments: Canopy Leveling: The taller plants in the front row are left as-is, while the shorter ones in the back have been placed on top of the empty 3.7L pots. This ensures an even canopy for maximum light distribution. Defoliation: Everything under the net that wouldn’t develop into usable bud — based on past experience — has been trimmed away. The focus is now entirely on the top canopy and cola production. Nutrients & Care: Flowering Nutrients: Greenhouse Feeding Bloom is in play, with 30g applied per 7L pot (following the recommended 3-5g per liter). This should carry the plants through the stretch phase and provide a strong start for flower development. Watering: Still cruising with reverse osmosis (RO) water, keeping things clean and steady. Light Intensity: Slowly ramping up the light week by week to avoid shocking the plants, aiming for full intensity once they’ve settled into the flowering phase. Plans for the Stretch & Beyond: A second net is ready to go for after the stretch, ensuring the canopy remains supported and those fat nugs don’t collapse under their own weight. Continued monitoring of canopy height and plant health as they shift their energy into flowering. Observations: The Donutz are responding well to the flowering transition, with no visible stress. The even canopy and clean lollipop structure are setting the stage for optimal bud production. Everything is lining up perfectly for a strong flowering run. The Donutz are about to shine, and the tent is poised to deliver a heavy, uniform harvest. The Florida Gang energy is real — time to watch the nugs stack!

****** Week 8 Flower, November 7 to 13, 2020 ****** Hey Growmies......winding this run down........they are ripening this week and next.......this is the second week of flush. Lights are down and temps are down to mimic fall. Just lots of plain RO water this week......keep flushing out the media👍 One is growing spears......the other is growing bats😂👍 So much fox tailing that there will be a good mixture of trichomes at different stages of ripening.......should make for good smoke! Trichomes are continuing to come out more and bud swelling has continued,👍 That’s what I have for a quick update gang........as you can see they are by themselves in the tent now......these girls have more Sativa in them and taking a little longer to finish......better for me with trimming as well🤪😃🙏

Greetings friends Allow me to introduce you to my first ever brand spanking new homemade self contained DWC hydroponic system. So for this small experimental cycle, I will be testing various nutritional additives and plant training techniques. I will be sure to record a daily log in order to optimize my progress. Please note I will not be including germination and drying time. Day 1 Mon, 16 July So after a few days germination and nurturing, the plants have been moved to their permanent home. I filled the reservoir with nutrients following the can a websites specific instructions. Day 2 Tue, 17 July I've noticed a small growth in height however, I had a small humidity dome which upon moving slightly damaged the leaves but I noticed some strange spots which may have been from the fertiliser. But I did follow the dosages exactly?? Day 4 Thurs, 18 July Note to self, maybe stick with clones seeing as you get straight into the vegging stage saving maybe a week or two. That and the fact they're free. Ok, so I had to completely empty all my reservoirs because I misinterpreted the CANNA websites feeding schedule. It said 0-3 weeks which I foolishly did not realise was post-germination/sapling. And also one of the smaller plants #3, actually fell over because it's roots still had not dug deep enough to feed on the reservoirs moisture. However, I almost literally saw it pop back up with a tad of rehydration. Note to self a good trick for future reference will be to fill the reservoir right up until it pretty much touches the net pot and then shrinks back down to that even 35L once I begin adding nutrients. Day 5 Fri, 18 July Ok, so I gathered a bit of Intel from my friendly neighbourhood hydroman. First off I can hold off buying the EC meter until next they enter the actual vegetative stage which apparently is between 3 to 5 internodes ( the space between nodes) until then I will be feeding them a fraction amount of veggie fertilizer and rhizotonic. Now, this swamp cooler thing has piqued my curiosity if I'm not mistaken dry ice converts to carbon dioxide which we all know plants love so, that means a swamp cooler can cool, raise humidity and increase co2? In the mean time, I was given a bag of homegrown co2 which I will photograph. This will also counter the high-temperature problems I have been having. Apparently, plants can withstand an additional 10 degrees with the addition of co2 that complemented by silica would prove to be invaluable in the summer. I will be purchasing a humidifier for my saplings soon and have decided to stick with weekly reservoirs, Peace out. Day 7 Sun, 21 July Note to self I think for my cycle if I used a short square shaped reservoirs and perhaps less litres next time with multiple net pots per reservoir and with clones I think that would greatly accelerate vegge time and thus shorter cycles in general Got myself a very good humidifier and added small amounts of vegge fertilizer to the none CANNA plants.

Only a couple more weeks before chop so can't wait to see the results
