I'm really excited to see what these seeds can do & produce!!! Especially as I'll be showcasing the new FC 6500 from mars hydro. This little beast boasts some juicy stats so again, really excited to see what it can produce. I'm also ditching the liquid fertilizer & trying soil amendments from living soils. Specialised Auto nutrients with the added extra of barley & worm casts! I've constructed a much better grow area with a lot more room which Is awesome 😍 Even though I was more than happy with my last critical grow, I wish I had more lol 🤣🤣 I'm germinating in a glass of water & then transferring straight to the 'pre cooked soil' ( more explanation on that later on. I'll be growing under a 20/4 light cycle, starting off at 25% light, increasing to 50% once out of early seedling & into veg. Then 100% for flower. Growing in Biobizz all mix & 20 LTR airpots ( a change from my root nurse fabric pots ) I have an ecotechnics evo fan controller which will control my AC RVK fans & heater. The humidifier is A humipro with built in Humidistat. Here we go..........4 beautiful strains to try so join in & follow to see how I go. One ❤️ Grow diaries. Update - 09/06/2021 - cooking The Soil - As I'm using organic soil amendments for this Auto grow, the soil needs to be 'cooked' prior to planting seedling's. This simply requires mixing 20 grams of Grow Auto per gallon of soil, then water. This will activate the nutrients to start feeding the soil. Update - 10/06/2021 - Germinating - Seeds have been soaking now for 18 hrs. Evidence of all tap roots can be seen already.. absolute result! The 420 fast bud genetics are ticking all the boxes so far! Transferred to paper towel & covered with cling film. Will check progress in around 12 Hrs. Update - 11/06/2021 - Germinating Day 2 - 420 ‘FAST BUDS’ is an understatement! Never seen a tap root bust out like that purple punch! Keep saying it….Genetics, genetics, genetics… ‘ The corner stone of any successful grow ‘ Me thinks they’ll be transplanted to their forever home today! Will see how their doing in another 12 hrs! Everything on the readings seem well. Plant two seems to be having some kinda nutrition issue. I'm not sure what it is on the first set it leaves. Plant one is seeming to be super strong, healthy, and green. Gonna just keep watching the water levels and ph and keep on trucking.

Week 6 everything was on par with week 5 of flower however, girl #1 has officially pulled away from girl number #2. Girl #1 is 27 Inches tall while girl#2 is 16 inches tall. Toward the end of week 5 girl #1 started flowering and her bud sites are becoming more defined as she progress. I maybe be wrong but it seems like girl #2 maybe is slower and gonna flower in the next 2 weeks hopefully. She definitely is indica dominant with her short bushy stature. But, I thought the indica dominate pheno had fast flowering when compared to the sativa pheno. I did do some more defoliation of the fan leaves on each girl and any leafs blocking the light to increase the budsites potential. also I removed the more undeveloped lowers. Doesn’t looked to have stressed them out with all my defoliation. These ladies smell has increased very much. Everything is still on par with week 5. I’m very grateful to have this opportunity to have all you experienced growers view my diary. Thank you very much and it means the world to me seeing I have any views.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Hey all! Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato - which you can't even see anymore haha. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). Wow, the growth has been insane. The girls are touching the edges of the tent, and you can almost get lost telling what's what in this sea of green! The bud sites are definitely showing signs of swelling up. Unfortunately I dealt with some nute burn on both plants, more on one than the other, but I flushed them twice with PH'd water and it seemed to have stopped it spreading. Definitely was feeding too much. Stuck to the dosage guidelines but feel I did not give enough plain water in between nute-water feedings (actually none at all until I flushed them). Man. They are huge plants. Underestimated how big these would actually get! I CANNOT WAIT to start seeing fat buds! As I mentioned before, I have been taking a tolerance break for most of this grow and I will continue to do so until harvest (day 25 of the tolerance break today). Es hat sich viel getan. Das Wetter war gut. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit und die Temperaturen sind teilweise extrem (40 Grad / 25 %Luftfeuchtigkeit). Die Pflanzen stört es soweit nicht. Die Auto Orange hat den Anfang gemacht. Mittlerweile (Tag 36) zeigen alle ihre Vorblüte. Die Auto Orange sind beide um die 60 cm. Die Lemon Kix sind alle sehr groß geworden. Da kratzen 2 an die 90 cm. Sie fangen auch an zu riechen. Der Wasserbedarf steigt auch. Giessen muss ich alle zwei Tage. Batboost bekommen sie bei jedem mal. Bloom wird bei jedem 2 Mal gegeben. Ein gewisses LST habe ich durchgeführt. Die Pflanzenbieger kann ich höchstens 2 Tage dran lassen. Sind sie länger dran brechen mir die Triebe am Bieger. Wahrscheinlich wäre das runter binden und am Topf befestigen die beste Option.

April 19, 2024 Day 64 A new week and nothing to change. I took each plant out and separately took pics. But that's it. Banana Purple Punch A has a final height of 23". She is 24" from the light and the DLI is 43 mol/m²/d. She is the bigger of the two but has more space and less bud. The buds are still really nice and covered in trichomes. I'll get a couple pictures in when I remember to. Banana Purple Punch B has a final height of 21". She is 23" from the light due to the risers. The DLI is 44 mol/m²/d. She's the smaller, but has way more bud and it appears the size isn't going to matter with this one. I can't really tell for sure what the yield will be for them, but if they bulk up enough, I may get 4 oz out of each plant. Maybe 5 depending on the bud density. No watering today. They will be needing water tomorrow though. I may pull back on the Overdrive. I'm getting some burning tips. I'm guessing it's the dose of Overdrive. I'll drop it down to 4 ml instead of the 8 ml it's currently at. Same thing with the Bud Candy. I just don't think they need the full dose. Especially when everything else is getting a half dose. The light is obviously staying the same this week. Probably for the next 2 weeks. Unless they start to finish up super quick. So maybe another 3 to 4 weeks left on the plants total. The environment is a bit off today. The temp is kind of high at 78° and the humidity is also kind of high at 56%. I'd much rather everything be down. 75° and 50% is good for now. Still don't know how I'm going to get the humidity down to 45%. I may have to work with 50% for the rest of the grow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 53.3% VPD: 1.31 kPa April 20, 2024! Happy 420! Well, today was watering day. I decided not to add the Overdrive today. It should help with the nutrient burn. Next watering I'll start the 4 ml dose. I also dropped the Bud Candy down to 4 ml also to help with the nutrient burn. Banana Purple Punch A looks great! Her buds are super fat. I can't wait to see the end result for this lady. Great leaf to bud ratio and beautiful colors. Banana Purple Punch B is getting super fat buds. Not as big as Banana Purple Punch A, but still swelling. I'm also fairly certain that, Banana Purple Punch A started flowering earlier, so her buds are naturally further along and of course are bigger. However, Banana Purple Punch B has more bud throughout the plant. When the buds really start to swell, I may not see branch anymore. Lol. That would be fantastic. The lighting didn't change yet again. The environment is back to normal today. The temps are gradually climbing up from last night's 68° with the humidity staying happily at 51%. As I said, it would fix itself. Happy days! Now it's at 74° and should be back up to 76° in a couple of hours. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 52.3% VPD: 1.30 kPa April 21, 2024 Nothing going on today with these two. I'll be taking Trichomes pics in a few days. Maybe starting next week. I was planning on starting this week, and there are tons of trichomes, but not enough to be impressive. Banana Purple Punch A has super fat buds and looks great! She is a tiny bit crushed against Banana Purple Punch B and it's pressing the leaves inward. No big deal, but I need to document something. Banana Purple Punch B doesn't have the fastest buds like her sister plant, but they are still fat and compact. Hopefully they bulk up like Banana Purple Punch A. Her leaves are also being forced in from the contact with Banana Purple Punch A. Lighting is the same. The environment finally fixed itself and is now at 75° and 49% humidity. Looking great! Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 49.7% VPD: 1.39 kPa April 22, 2024 Nothing going on today. I filled the jugs with the nutrients and they are standing by. Both reservoirs are still about a quarter full. So watering will be waiting for either first thing tomorrow or later today. The advantage is I don't have to water just in the morning. I can water anytime, so when the reservoir is near empty, I can refill it. Hell, I could do that later tonight. But I don't think I will unless necessary. I don't like to pull the plants out more than once a day, just Incase they get stressed or damaged somehow. But I take them out for inspection and solo pics. Banana Purple Punch A is getting heavy buds now. The branches are starting to sway in that way now. She looks great! Banana Purple Punch B is also looking great! She had a couple leaves snipped off today. Just a couple though. 2 leaves that were being crushed. Other than that, her structure is still great and her buds are coming along nicely. I may be expecting this to finish up in the next 2 to 3 weeks. As always, the lighting has stayed in place. Another week and we shall see if I'm dropping the intensity down. We will see what the plants are doing. The environment is doing quite nicely. A good 75° today with the humidity at 50%. I couldn't ask for any better with this setup. It has been dipping down to 48%, so that's a good sign. The night temp and humidity are still looking pretty good. Steady humidity at 50% and the temp average for last night was still 68°. I'd like to see the average at around 66° for the rest of the run, but I'm still having trouble getting the temp that low. It did drop down to 65° for a bit last night, but through the night, the temp needs time to drop and I only get about an hour or so of cold. I'm planning on cooling my room off earlier in the evening, so when the lights go out, we are down to maybe 72° and will drop even lower for a longer period of time. I'll start that next week I think. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.8° RH: 49.2% VPD: 1.41 kPa April 23, 2024 Not a lot going on today. Just watering and inspection. Both plants got the full watering and half the dose of Overdrive and half the dose of Bud Candy. Banana Purple Punch A has great fat buds, but spaced out quite a bit. She still looks super good though. Beautiful greens and good sized fan leaves. Banana Purple Punch B is the best of the two by far. She has the most bud and the cleanest structure. Leaf to bud ratio is right on point if not a little high. But no big deal. I'll be doing a wet trim anyway, so it won't matter too much. In the mean time, I'll just leave her alone. Just watering and observation. Both ladies have a wonderful aroma. Strong and sweet. A little hint of gas as well. It's a sharp smell, the best way I can explain it. It's not super heady like diesel, but sharp like petrol. I'd like to discuss the time frame these ladies have left. By the way they look, id say another 2 to 3 weeks. Maybe less. They have tons of pistils and only a couple have turned orange. So they're still going strong. The lighting is still spot on for these two. Depending on how they look next week, I may leave it or drop the power down. We shall see. The environment is looking good today. Currently 8 have it at 78°, but that will go down to 75° in an hour. I had to kickstart my heater and bring the temp up as quick as I could. Now I just have to adjust it down to 75° simple. Also, I discovered that my dehumidifier was off. Oops. Anyway, I turned that back on and the humidity is hanging just below 50% now. The VPD is around 1.60 kPa. Should be fine for the next few hours. Honestly, I'm pretty sure the VPD should be around 1.60 kPa anyway. But that's with the temp at 75° and the humidity at 45%. Currently it's fine, but with the dehumidifier back on, I should be able to lower the temp a bit and really drop the humidity. Hopefully. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 49.0% VPD: 1.42 kPa Nothing going on today. Just observation. What I'm observing is tons of trichomes. Frosty tops and leaves. Frost everywhere. I'll start with the trichome pics next week. Then we should have tons of good pics. Now if I can keep my hand steady... That's the trick. Banana Purple Punch A looks great as always. Her buds are getting fatter everyday. No orange pistils yet. Well, not an abundance of them. Just a few scattered here and there. You can tell she's got another 2 weeks left. But that's a good thing. Big ole fat buds. Lots of frost and tons of smell. Banana Purple Punch B looks majestic. Her buds are coated on trichomes and she's almost at the place where I can really call her frosty. Not quite yet though. I want a full blanket of frost. Very close. And with her structure, she looks all the better. I'm not expecting to move the light for at least another week or so, and even then I may only drop the power down to 80%. I just don't quite know yet. The environment is a bit off today. The temp is fine at 75°, but it's the humidity that is a bit high today. It's holding at 52%. Nothing crazy, but definitely not below 50%. Nothing to do today. Both reservoirs are still too full to refill, so that won't be happening until later today or early tomorrow. There honestly isn't much to report at all. Everything looks the same as yesterday. The buds are bigger, but that's about it. Same thing with the lighting. Nothing to change. The environment is actually really nice. I have the heat in my room cranked for now. I've been keeping the tent around 76°. The humidity has been happy at 50%. I also managed to get the temp down to 62° last night. Not for long though. It was too cold on my room for that. Lol. The average for the night was 65°. Right where I want it. Now to figure out how to keep it at 65° without slamming it all the way down to 62°. The humidity was also nice and low at 48%. Excellent night temp. Let's hope I can keep it up.
