week 6 seeing strong new growth in both plants, trying to contain vertical growth with low and high stress training before I add the double layer trellis netting next week. started roots by heavy 16 at 1 ml per gal, and i have foliar 2 times past week (once every 3 days) heavy 16 foliar at 40 ml /1 l (breaks down to 4 ml per 100 ml of water, mist about 50 mls on bottoms of plants then all over an hour after lights turn off. did some defoliation on lower fans to allow light penetration to potential mid level tops

I feel the light being only 100w has contributed to some of the extra stretching between the nodes and this would not have happened under brighter settings. Added in some bokashi grain to the medium to help breakdown anything that maybe unavailable to the plants. everything is on course for success. The smell of this plan is really starting to come around now it was really weak for a long time but now I'm getting a sweet sweet smell got a little worried but not doing good just took a little time maybe I'm just too impatient everybody's plants look great y'all have a good one

Oct.7 day 68 buds are still stacking and getting harder every day & trichomes on all plants are now milky except for Trainwreck #2 which has turned into a long flowering sativa. Powdery mildew has gotten a little out of control on most of the potted girls so I started the long & tedious task of harvesting 1 plant per day starting with Blue Fire #1. Being a one-man operation I’m not looking forward to all the work that lies ahead however judging by the look and smell of these babies, should be well worth it in the end. Oct.8 day 69 cut down all the main colas on Blue Fire #2 & Strawberry Banana #2. Giving the lower branches a few more days to finish then chop chop and into the freezer. 😜😁👌 Oct.10 day 71 cut down all the main colas on Godfather OG #2 and keeping the rest for fresh frozen water hash. Also started trimming Godfather OG #1 eight days after she was harvested. First time drying in the garage which is detached from the house and is not insulated. Average temps in there this week were low 50's-60's F and 55-70% humidity. My concern was temps being too low and the fluctuating humidity. So far after eight days of hang drying in the garage with 2 small fans lighty blowing directly on the colas, God father OG #1 was dry and ready for final trim. That worked out better than I hoped. 🙌 Oct.11 day 72 Trainwreck #2 got chopped whole and is hanging. I would normally trim it up quite a bit before hang drying but I need a break today. Oct.12 day 73 Strawberry Banana #1 finally got chopped today. I shot a video of it in time lapse which compresses my five hour chop time to about one minute. ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower the Cal mag has made absolutely no difference too the yellow colour of this blackberry so I suspect it is just how this strain is as meany diary's on here of the same strain are also on the yellow side , but it's certainly not affecting the speed of the growth of her , i also bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , I accidentally bend the main stem last week while I was putting them under the netting too try and control the stretch , luckily it did not crack or snap the branch at all and she didn't droop on that branch at all and has healed already , it may or may not be related but as soon as it happened the side branches thickened up too the thickness of the main stem , this plant has over taken the rest in size even being a full week too 15 days younger , it's certainly not ideal but it really does not appear too have slowed down the growth and may well go in my favour , this lady really did stretch out from week 4 into 5 and is showing no sign of slowing down , her side branches are very thick almost as thick as the main stem , her leaf production was minimal and I have only had too remove very few too expose the bud sites , the yellowing seems too be recovering now and most of the plant is green now , Update , Now gone a lush green colour instead of that horrible yellow , and the buds have already started too purple , she has also stepped up a gear with her nutrient intake almost drinking 6 pints since Thursday , She seems too have slowed down on the stretch and has so meany bud site scattered all over her with as the diary name suggests black roses everywhere , and note too any seed banks reading this if there is not a purple stain out there already called black rose now is your chance lol and Iwant a sample pack first kinda like the tester :) Now defoliation , as you can see they really didn't seem too mind at all being stripped and within a couple of days they had all replenished the lost leaves and even this week olive had to pull the odd few off as they have grown out , Method , well all info now is simple , Anything I cannot tuck under something that is blocking a bid site with shade I remove too middle or bottom , Everything else stays , I just stand above the plant and pull off anything covering the sites , it's really as simple as that , I see some strip them until there is nothing left on but a few sugar leaves , but for me didn't like the look of the plants , for me the growing process is just as much fun as the fruits ,

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed.
