I had turned the light up to 75% last week and they def started showing signs of light stress, I turned it to about 70% but they don’t seem any less stressed, I think the tops are just too close to be honest. Not sure if I should go back to 75%. Other than that they seem incredibly happy. They pray every day even with the curled tips. I ordered some overdrive which should arrive just in time for when it’s supposed to used, going to defoliate tonight anything under the trellis I think.

Day 8: All settled in and game for the grow now. Six shooter is a lanky looking lady with longer leaves than the other two girls. She has a sativa look to her already !. lol shebis on her 3rd set and possibly 4th at a pinch Strawberry pie is the smaller of the group in overall size so far with her leaves resembling the six shooter. onher 4th set of nodes Mexican Airlines is a broad leaved girl indeed. lots of area to power those growth spurts hopefully . All around 2 inches tall and now directly under the sp3000 with the room fan keeping them dancing. Lets hope they are thick stemmed ,multi noded ,monsters next week!!!. With their position in the room , they will be trained but not to keep their height down as they are next to a tall lady and need to keep the light up. Be safe Growmies.

grew well despite some kind of immobile nutrient deficiency in the growth cycle. yield is good. Responds very well to some LST. My experience with this strain suggests a longer curing time to temper the unique sweetness of this strain.

01/23/2025 : a bit of yellowing last week but it seems OK now. AH may have eaten everything in its previous pot... Scrog net is already full after 5 days! I just added a bit of calmag and trace elements, autopot and biotabs will do the rest.

Germinated seed directly in finishing pot (3 gallon fabric), with fox farm ocean forest as my medium.

Switched to my 5 gal pots now, dumped 6L of water into each plant to get the pH back down still waiting for them to dry out a little before the next watering which should be less so next week will have water amounts Height is for the holy punch again. Power flower is still around 1.5"

This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. This will be the last week of 18/6. I've got to count 2 - 3 weeks of stretching at 12/12 and the surface of the screen ain't that huge. I've did some defoiling, not much...just some top leaves and some under the screen. My watering and feeding strategy is that I start with little doses, less then prescribed by Canna. The soil is fresh so there are already nutrients available. I don't water the Runtz everyday, but every other day. This week that was about 1 liter every other day. And it got a bit brighter this week. The grow lights are lowered to 70 cm (27 inches) at 224 watt. To push the pest resistance test even further (so far, the plants have shown resilience against fungus gnats, thrips, and excessive humidity), it’s getting too risky to allow the gnats to continue affecting my roots. As a test, I sieved fine sand from my garden and spread it over the soil to eliminate the gnats' living space. I gave the plants a good watering before applying the sand, and now I’ll leave it like this for a week. By the end of the week, I plan to repot them anyway, so we’ll see if this method clears up the gnat problem.

Ever since I started adding nutrients my main flowering plant looks like it’s stressed out. Maybe even slowing of some growth. The one that just started flowering seems to be unbothered. Continuing to try to follow instructions as best as I can but of coarse I can do stupid things like after I feed I once used water without ph correcting it 😒. All good though gotta learn somehow. This strain keeps growing regardless. Might just not hit its maximum potential due to lack of professional know how.

Last week of feed for this lady :) Update end of week nine , Well the bud production this week has been absolutely crazy , She has now slowed right down on her feeding too , so the flush begins , she still needs too cloud up and go amber but she will have enough nutrients in her and the soil too last her until she ripens , she really has been a joy too watch grow and develop , I would not think twice about growing this strain ,

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. He cosechado KOK1, luego LK y para terminar con el día KAK3, han sacado buen cogollo central, la LK esta super dura y se siente pesada., se ha pesado en húmedo, cuando se seque todo añadiré información sobre la cosecha de LK. KOK y KAK me esperaré hasta cosecharlas todas. d74 Se han regado con igual, con Kleanse las que estan por terminar y las dos KOK que van mas lentas con TricoPlus, SugaRush y EnzymBoom.

Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and keeps stretching. Advanced Nutrients one moved to left top corner and she seems to be doing better than last week. Light intensisty is at 90% in 50 cm distance.

Week 13 : Six Shooter So i've been looking into these plants' trichomes daily, sometimes twice daily, they're all really really cloudy, like full white, completely curled in. Some have a slight beige tint to them, so i'm guessing that's the first few ambers ! That means it's time for the chop ! these wrapped up their second week of flush with three x additive flush. To flush you water until run off then add 20% which is just about 4 pints for me. Now i'm at the end of the grow i can say that the full tent is a good idea, but it does get crowded and that will surely affect my yield as there are a fair few colas that are totally f-ed in the sense they are thin, skinny, a tiny bit of flower with just a few pistills... so those are useless and they're going into my bubble hash project, so let's see, maybe i can extract value out of the trim , the popcorn buds, and the rest of the plant ! Day#29Update : I took off about 8-10 fan leaves although I really did not want to take anything . I pony-tailed her main top although I wanted to pony-tail each of her tops . I’m hoping this second lite defoliation establishes those lateral branches letting them become symmetrical with the main top . If this happens I’ll pony-tail each branch for a day or two then when I untie them I’ll top each branch . For now that’s the plan , make as many arms “branches” with equal growth to the central “main” branch . Day#30 update : she’s been ponytailed for an entire 24hrs which is a 1st she always breaks out of the tie . This makes me happy I timed it better . Usually I ponytail her top when it’s slightly to large/strong so the benefits are short lived at most about 8hrs which still definitely helped those lateral branches reach the light but I was aiming to ponytail her at a smaller growth so that it would remain restrained until I decided to remove it . She’s almost ready for a drink . She could go for one today but I really want to wait until she’s absolutely famished and begging for it . So I’m going to wait another day or two then water her until runoff . The last time she received water was day #24. Day#31Update: well she’s still pony-tailed ! I’m shocked and amused . I’ll let her down finally tomorrow . Made it through an entire month she’s only gotten more beautiful since fixing the VPD issue. I broke and gave her water before she was absolutely begging for it . Mainly to address the low and falling humidity in my tent . I don’t want to lose anymore precious time dealing with issues and setback on those autos finishing up in here . After I last watered the tent day #24 I did a massive leaf defoliation of the flowering girls which dropped the overall tent humidity massively . So I adjusted the intake/exhaust fans as well as the oscillating fan to allow the humidity to rise in the tent . That worked well enough until but as the girls drink slowly the humidity is back falling again into the 45s. I don’t want it in the 40s until buds are swollen . I mixed up a gallon on water and added an ounce of trace micronutrients to it and ph’d it down to 6.4 loaded it into a 1gallon sprayer & sprayed my 3 autos . Having a little less than 1/4 gallon of this full strength solution I decided to see what my Cereal milk plant was made of and gave it to her . I haven’t given any of these girls a full strength dose of anything other than the Gaia Green . At day 42 & Day 35 of the autos in flower I did a too dress of flower nutes & a week later all 3 ladies showed burnt tips so I very well may exacerbate the issue by giving them a full stenches feeding of micronutrients . “Cellie” who went into this 1 gallon pot day#9 is showing what looks hunger signs with the yellowing of the lower leaves . Maybe because I’m letting her go thristy considering there should be 28 days of food in this medium at minimum really even more considering I added more than the recommended amount . So we’ll see. Month 1 Veg went great excited to see what kind of bush she looks like at the end of month 2 and fingers crossed by month 3 she’ll be read to flip to flower and scrog down Day#32 Update: RELEASE FROM PONYTAIL PRISON so to speak 😭. She has so many tops already ! It’s going to be a pleasure and a joy to defoliate her , ponytail all her tops for a couple days , then release the ponytails & top all the main tops once to widen her up some more ! She hasn’t shown signs of stress from that full strength micronutrient feeding I gave her last night so that’s wonderful . She’s going to look absolutely crazy when I strip her bare of a lot of these leaves and ponytail those tops BUT the woman she will be once she fills back out will be worth the temporary tragedy . It will take her relatively 14 days to rebound from the defoliation I’m going to put on her if I go as heavy as I’m planning to .
