I gave the Blue Cheese a trim on 5th december and gave her four days of darkness, the chop was performed on december 9th I took a lot of photographs and videos commemorating these events for you to enjoy :) I think she came out quite decent especially considering that she had some monster/deformed leaves till the 4th week of veg. also looking back I should have moved her to the bigger place in that time...she would be far more symmetrical ;) It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. Day 21: From day 10 to 21 I couldn't take care of the plants because of private reasons, I asked my friend to take care of the plants and he didn't do a good job! He should had asked me or alerted me when he saw mayor problems, not just saying a little bit of light green or yellow. As you can see, we have alot of yellowing beneeth the plants, different sizes and even got some burnt leafs indicate that he didn't water on time. Did some run-off checks and saw many various values😓 Ph between 6.8-7.5 and EC between 1 to 2. The PH should had been 5.8-6 and EC at this stage 1.8+ since they need alot of nutrients because cocos soil doesn't have any. Because of this shit, they have been underfed, burnt, stress and more. Not ideal for autoflowers. Even the reservoir from humidifier was empty, indicating that it hasn't been filled for days!! Also he didn't sorted the plants out, there are always spots that get dryer faster or stay more wet. Get more light or less. Therefore it is wise to change spots of your plants all the time, I call it dancing. Your plants will grow more equally. If you look at the bigger plants, this should had been the size of all the plants sadly. They now look like they are in end of week 2 instead of week 3 and the bad plants end of week 1 😕 I did some defolation on some plants on the lower area. Roots start to show underneeth the pots, which is really good. I putted the bad plants in left under corner, Lets hope I can still nurse them. I still have 1-2 weeks to fix this before it goes into flowering, lets hope they will still grow double in size, otherwise this will be a lower rewarding grow.

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

Semana del 12 al 18 de abril Cada día más bonitas. Estoy feliz porque como hay menos humedad ambiental, hay menos humedad en el indoor. Incluso llegando a 43% de humedad, así que me confirmo. La temperatura suele andar por 24-26 grados Celsius así que bien. Tenía unas 10 hojas dañadas por la mosca negra, así que el 12 de abril apliqué el insecticida tec fort (foto del producto en la semana anterior). Lo apliqué a las 17:00 hrs y a las 22:30 del mismo día no vi ningún bicho. Dentro de 5-6 días volveré a aplicarlo igualmente (1ml por cada litro). Al menos dos de las cuatro plantas están tomando otro color, así que me conformo.

she is doing really well. we are at the beginning of week 5. she is currently getting a lot of rain. but also enough sun and daylight. you can clearly see that she is preparing for the flowering phase. i have not used any growing techniques on her. just sunlight and fertiliser.

Flowering – First week with focus on compactness Papaya Sunrise, despite the smaller initial size, showed excellent expansion during the last two weeks of growth. Plant indicative of a compact genetics with strong indica dominance. Close internodes, wide leaves and presence of pre-flowers already after 72h from the switch. 📊 Growth setup: Humidity: 58% Average temp.: 26.5°C VPD: 1.0 EC: 1.35 mS/cm Irrigation: 2x/day, digital timer with constant pressure 💧 Nutrition: Full Advanced Nutrients administration in progressive dosage. The plant also received Extreme Garden Myco and humus on the surface, followed by irrigation only water. 🧠 Notes: The general behavior is stable. No signs of excess, living and well colonized substrate. Ideal plant for the development of dense flowers. Partial defoliation has ensured lateral ventilation, and in the next few days additional branches will be placed under the net. 🔧 Next steps: possible insertion of Eco Bio Booster + molasses from day 10, with observation of stretching and general vigor.
