I do not usually top but we’re going to give it a go. Rainbow melon had an issue with hurm on my first Grow so this is round two for her. She is doing amazing just like her sister Was at this time so fingers crossed seems like the third week of flower is when I started noticing the hurm FastBuds4204LiFe💯🔥

In to week 2 of flower, screen starting to fill in nicely. Nothing much else to report, everything looking healthy with no signs of any deficiencies, really stepped up a gear with growth now. I’ll be doing some more tucking to fill the screen completely over the next few days, final defoliation and clean up below the screen next week and that should be the training finished till harvest.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Room is almost there Flood table coating was completed this week. Took forever to cure in the colder weather, but it is looking great now. Normally I wouldnt use this stuff because it is $200 per gallon, but since Im in the industry, these expired sample cans didnt cost me a cent and provides a much more durable, reflective, cleanable and puncture resistant alternative to plastic. Im very happy with the table overall, it cost me very little to build I installed the fan and carbon filter, moves about 750 cf per minute. Its a bit loud, but its huge, so what are ya gonna do? My dutch bucket pails are slowly being collected from my local coffee shop. I need 4 - 8 more. Ive got all the hardware to set up the watering system, so I will work on that in the coming week

Coming in a day early this week because tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Plants are growing nicely, pistils and colors and frost, all good stuff happening. None of the colas are fat and solid like a pinecone yet, but we're on track for a nice harvest. I'm thinking 4 more weeks.

SUNDAY 6/23: I floated a single Zkittlez bean today to try in my Summer outdoor grow. Once it sprouts I'll sprinkle it with great white and plant it in a rockwool cube. Once I see a good amount of roots sticking out I'll sprinkle the roots with mycotrex and plant it in a 3 gallon pot that's already prepared with startrex and silicium. I'm also gonna be using biotabs, orgatrex, bactrex, mycotrex, boom boom spray, PK booster compost tee, bud candy, and terpinator in this grow. I've got a new outdoor faucet timer that I'll have run a soaker hose for 10 minutes at a time, several times per day through the hottest part of the Summer. (105f-110f), and she will be located in a fairly shady spot,. Hopefully baked Zkittlez are as good as the regular kind...😁 MONDAY: I figured what the hell and floated a second Zkittlez bean today...I've got the space, and I really like candy... TUESDAY: The first one sprouted into an inch-long seedling overnight, so I dipped the taproot into Great White, and put some more down the hole before planting it. The second one sunk. For stealth purposes, simplicity in transfer, and to give the seedlings an advantage, I've decided to transfer the rockwool-cubed seedlings from the dome to some 6" pots (1/2 gallon) that I've prepared with startrex and silicium flash. I'll grow the seedlings under my 2000w blurple light for a couple of weeks before taking them outside. I should be able to carry all of them in a big box out to the site without injuring them. This will give me time to start sneaking the big pots out to the site. I'll pre-mix the startrex and silicium flash on-site and add the mycrotrex when I transplant them to the 3 gallon pots and give them a good douching with bactrex and orgatrex to get them started well. My soil has been recharging for several months with tons of good stuff added (earthworm castings, bat guano, azomite, biochar, bokashi, nectar for the godz one-shot and myco), plus I'll be growing them with the biotabs line of products, so they will have a good chance. I figure that I'll probably fix up their first batch of PK booster compost tea right away and douche them with it in their first week outdoors. Every little thing I can do to help them strengthen for the oncoming heat they'll experience...probably some extra kelp too... FRIDAY: Still only one of them has emerged, but it looks good so far. FRIDAY 7/5: Still just the one..giving up on the other. Week 2 begins Sunday.

At the end of the week i see her leaves a bit cupping upwards, at first i thought it was because of the spraying of mist what i do over the day, but i stopped it and it is not getting better only worse. Maybe it is heatstress but my other plants are fine. So i was thinking maybe it is heat along with the wind, so i replaced my fan to the other corner see what happens now. She is still on a low feeding schedule, and at day 10 i installed my auto water system. Maybe it is because there is to much water sprayed at the plant at that moment of giving water in the morning so that is causing my problems. i dont now, in the video it looks oke. I get up and inspect it tomorrow. We will see what happens in week 3

No problems yet, growing good. Transplanted other 2. I ran out of soil so I topped off the gelato with pellets. Starting low stress training on purple kush 1 and 2, will be topping pk 3, and maybe try and fim gelato after I read more about it. Maybe I should top it first.

The girls continue to grow very nicely! All the girls have gone into flowering and I have upgraded to the 600W light now to push these girls and see what we can get from the final harvest 😋 They are still on the vega feed for now whilst they are in the early flower stage. Not alot to report except the front girl had a very slight amount of nute burn but rolling with it as the other girls are fine and its minimal signs so far! If it gets worse maybe will adjust the feed!
