Hi all. A good week of growth for the Amnesia haze lady despite the crazy temps in the UK the past few weeks. 31°c heatwaves daily have had some negatives on the recovering 2 girls . The amnesia is a huge plant now for my room dimensions and I would love to see the results from an outside grow of this amazing strain. I took a lot of lower growth tips out and wish i could have took clones as they were such good strong examples of her. I cannot sing her praises enough at this point and she jas took to her training with no issues at all. I am hoping to give them another 2 weeks max which will give the other plants time to recover and get some size back on. The Red hot cookies has remained yellow except a few lower growth points , she had some very damaged roots from the root rot and temps but still managed to add some height and side growth. The tank changes and new res mix should hopefully support her to keep the new roots healthy and growing. The Sweet Afghani Delicious has been trying really well to keep herself growing too. Her ability to overcome such a hit with root rot and keep going gives me a positive note on this strain. Her recovery is expected soon now so should give her a good chance to harvest well. Overall I am happy with what is here following such a difficult attack by heat and pathogens. Watch those res tanks in the heat above 21°c guys , pathogens thrive at this temp !.

Week 14 is here! The girls are almost done, i see alot of amber trichomes and some cloudy, so i will begin the flush in the next couple of days and then harvest in a week or two. The buds are rock hard and extremely frosty, really sticky stuff! The smell is so strong and very sweet on the nose. I see some deficiencies in both of them but they are so close to done/flush that i'm not going to go ham with nutrients to fix them. Good growing everyone!

Día 15/10/20 día 39 de floración Continuamos vigilando las nenas, hoy ha tocado una inspección detenida y un aspirado de la sala para minimizar riesgos. Por otro lado la nutrición sin cambios, sigo con el riego por goteo programado para riegos de 1,5 min cada. 6 horas durante el día. Ahora solo falta seguir controlando a espera de cosechar los resultados, te lo vas a perder?? Día 17/10/20 día 41 de floración Hoy rellenamos el tanque de nutrición, al final se queda con 1.85 ec y 6.1 de ph, esta será la ec más elevada que utilizaremos en nuestro cultivo. La mantendremos así durante unos días hasta que toque hacer el lavado de raíces para asegurarnos de cosechas unas flores con un aroma y sabor sin contaminantes (algo de lo que ya nos aseguramos desde un principio al utilizar zyco)

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. The plants keep to continue to grow FANTASTICALLY with the BIO-TABs nutrients and fill out the tent quickly. I therefore decide it is time to defoliate the plants. I cut off all lower branches (lowest two to three internodes) and take the biggest fan-leaves off the plant. This ensures a better air circulation and better light penetration. The two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lamps continue to be 75 cm above the plants and run on full-power (=not dimmed). The development of new buds each day is outstanding, all is going well.

The drying process lasted 14 days and I'm in the 2nd week of curing, I've already tried some buds and neither the smell nor the taste are great, the taste and smell of both phenotypes is lemon.

Good week so far. Was away for a couple days and came home and they’re getting big :)) will be upping my nutrients slowly this week and possibly start some LST depending on how everything goes. If anyone has questions or advice please feel free :)

Second week of flower out the way plants coming on well had a nice stretch over the last two weeks , one week to go before give them a good defoliation, conditions been spot on and haven't had a issue yet so hopefully all stays well till harvest

Diese Woche habe ich mir etwas einfallen lassen damit ich nicht nur Photos hinterlasse sondern auch etwas über mein System erklären kann. Letzte Woche Sonntag habe ich einige Plants getoppt und sie schauen soweit ganz gut aus. Ich hatte leider letzte Woche he ein Problem mit dem Root Juice von Advanced Nutrients die Nährlösung in den Tanks ist gekippt. Ich habe es erst am zweiten Tag gesehen und habe sofort alles geputzt und Wasser gewächselt. Danach wieder alles eingestellt und läuft. Ph: 5.7 Ec : 0.9 Ich habe auch jeweils 20g Mineral Magic in die Nährlösung hinzugefügt und 1 Teelöffel davon um den Stil der Plants gemacht. In meinen 2 Videos findet ihr mehr dazu. Happy Growing :)

I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

Last watered on dec 10; I eased up on the LST angle on the Larry OG. She’s looking a lot better than a couple of weeks ago. Although growth has been stunted substantially, I’ll try to nurse her back to the best of my abilities; We’ll see if the coffee grounds cause nitrogen toxicity, or if it pays off; The bud sites on the Mandarin Cookies have grown at least an 1 1/2in in the last week and seem to be doing well, There’s some very faint tip yellowing on the new growth so I think I’ll water with some plain ph’ed tap water and perhaps some molasses;
