The first week of flower is done now and flowers are starting to form. now reduce the fulvic a bit and keep an eye out for any P K C or Mg defs. Again as long as the buffet is laid out all you have to do is worry about the microbes.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. 65 Days I checked the trichomes last night and there is a good amount of ambers showing. This will probably be the last update before I harvest. Buds are really packing on the weight and man, is she stinky.

What's up fellow growmies! I hope all is well with your grows! This week progressed like usual, they actually are starting to pre-flower and growing stigmas. Its like clock work with these autos July 1st marked a complete year in growing and each time I've grown autos they always start to transition to flower in week 5/6. Its hard to believe it has been a complete year for me💪🏾 I have gained so much knowledge and received so much help from this community and I really appreciate it. It seems like yesterday I was frantically worrying about everything. Although I have much to learn I think I pretty much have it down to a science. This last year I have grown 4 different strains 2 times each. On my current grow I have stopped obsessing over watering, one thing I am learning is that watering until run off is not really needed, unless you want to test the ppm/ph of said run-off, otherwise you are just wasting water. I start off with 1 liter of water per plant, and as they grow I make my way up to 2 liters. It appears to be the sweet spot especially for the 5 gallon pots, after about 2 liters I start to see run-off in the 3gallon pots I see it after about 1.5 liters of water. I am still using the General Hydroponics Flora Series trio, it has worked well for me. I always mix what the manufacturer recommends per gallon into a 3 gallon sprayer, so I am giving 1/3rd of the recommended dosage out of fear of nute burn or lockout. I performed LST on both Big Bud Auto plants, and one of my White Widows, the other 2 White Widows I am letting grow naturally. Stay tuned and Happy Growing!!!! 🤘🏾🤙🏾💪🏾

Introducing bloom nutrients to her now, going to do a partial flush on the tank itself. I refill with RO water thats pH adjusted. I only use her nutrient solution for watering from the top a few times a day but not enough to cause significant runoff into the tank .

Overall very pleased. All the leaves are dark green and the plants are looking very happy. I’m giving them a couple more days before they are flipping into flower. All of them handle defoliation really well but Somango is a little to bushy to really do any organized Lst. I will try after Defoliation next week and give her a bit more surface area.

5/25: It rained again today for most of the day, but I managed to get back out there and take some photos after it let up. I also shot a short video early in the a.m while it was sprinkling and the lights were on... I heard that this strain flowers really fast, but I really don't think she can finish before June 21 (the summer solstice). The other two seedlings (FFT#6 and FFT#7) are in the same boat. The 5 clones outdoors might be able to finish before they get the signal to reveg. I may end up bringing as many of them as I can fit into my closet to finish and starting another batch of beans to grow outdoors this summer... 5/26 - 5/31: I did some training on her early in the week between rain showers, and foliar fed with Microlife maximum bloom formula. She's more than 36" across now... She was looking a little N deficient, so I assume the dry amendments have petered out. I top-fed her with another couple tablespoons of cavern culture and on the 31st, they were dry enough to feed them. I gave them big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, silica, endoboost, signal, humic acid, liquid kelp/fish emulsion, and liquid molasses. It just feels so strange that I'll be harvesting outdoor photos in June!?! That's it for week 8-
