Out of the 5 plants the gelato spirited and flowered quicker than the other 4 gorilla glue plants even though it was planted a week later. From start to finish I didn’t have one problem with this strain and was shocked by the colas developing on the plants even from early flower. I’m not surprised this is one of fastbuds most powerful strains and it’s a pleasure to grow! The yield I admit isn’t the greatest bud the bud that it produced was some what close to phenotypes. Would definitely recommend this strain, not the biggest yielded but a pleasure to experience growing. Would grow again without a doubt but for now going to have a fat joint of gelato & gorilla glue. Hey Guys! The last 2-3 weeks have been somewhat difficult. The “Load shedding” cut-offs has increased to stage +5 level which means 5 hours without electricity each day! 😒 🤢 Suck’s right? Well, that ain’t where my headache ends. To make matters even worse, due to all the on/off intervals our suburbs Sub-Station Transformer blew out - causing an overload & tripping the emergency leakage right after it gets switched back on. Then it’s a waiting game as City Officials needs to manually override the system, sometimes waiting up to 6 hours for them to respond to the call-out. Trying to keep things in check as best I can has taken its toll. Thus I’ve made the decision to harvest a little earlier than planned. I’ve noticed the flush taking affect underneath the leaves which is good enough for me at this point! (Besides, my smoke jar has been empty for almost 2 weeks now) - Thus why I’ve decided to harvest a little early than normal. I had started with the flush on 2 July after 8,5 weeks into reproductive stage. Initially planned to flush them down for 2-3 weeks until the flower period had reached 12-13th weeks total. ∴ 10 day flush done! Flush Period → 2 July 2022 → Yesterday 06:00 Dark Period → Yesterday 14:00 → Tomorrow 06:00 Harvesting Day → Tomorrow 08:00 Chore List + Actions -Completed 12 Jul - Removed Light Fixtures ✓ - Removed Trellis Net ✓ - Tent Sterilized H₂O₂ ✓ - Equipment Sterilized + checked ✓ - Floor Pan Vacuum ✓ _____________________________________________________________________________________

Woche 5 / Vegi Woche 4 Der Grow: ​​​​​Zum Anfang der Woche, wurde die Pflanze zum zweiten mal getoppt. Damit wurden aus den 6 Hauptrieben, 12 neue Haupttriebe. Dass toppen hat die Pflanze wieder gut verkraftet. Die Triebe sind im Verlauf der Woche gut und gleichmäßig gewachsen. Am Ende der Woche war die Pflanze wieder schön kompakt und buschig. Wahrscheinlich werde ich die Pflanze in der nächsten Woche, ein letztes mal toppen. Ob jeder der neuen 12 Hauptriebe getoppt wird, mache ich davon abhängig, wie sie sich weiterhin entwickeln. Leider war ich mir dann zur Wochenmitte zu 100% sicher, dass die Pflanze zu feucht steht. ​Kurze Zeit nachdem gießen, hat die Pflanze, ihre Blätter extrem hängen lassen. Auch haben sich erste Mangelerscheinungen gezeigt. Da Mangelerscheinungen bei der kurzen Zeit und dem Erdvolumen, nicht sein können, plus die Kombination der hängenden Blättern, nachdem gießen, waren dann die eindeutigen Anzeichen, für eine über Wässerung. Die Symptome werden hierbei, durch den fehlenden Sauerstoff an den Wurzeln, ausgelöst. Ich habe daraufhin, die Bewässerung komplett eingestellt. Aktuell bekommt die Pflanze seit 5 Tagen kein Wasser mehr, damit die Erde abtrocknen kann. Meine neue Strategie, für die Sonnenerde, schaut jetzt wie folgt aus. Ich lasse die Erde jetzt auf 30% abtrocknen, danach gebe ich einmalig, wieder soviel Wasser, dass die Feuchtigkeit auf 40% steigt, um sie dann wieder auf 30% absinken zulassen. Zwischen diesen Bewässerungen, gibt es 1-2 mal, nur ca. 200ml Wasser, damit die Erde gleichmäßig feucht bleibt. Dies sollte für eine gute Sauerstoff Versorgung der Wurzeln sorgen und das Boden Leben fördern. Damit die Pflanze etwas wenig gestresst ist, durch die über Wässerung, habe ich die LED erst einmal wieder auf Stufe 2 gedimmt und den VPD auf 1,2kpa gesenkt. Beides wird wieder schrittweise erhöht, wen die Feuchtigkeit in der Erde, auf mindestens 40% gefallen ist. Der Trauermückenbefall, dürfte auch erledigt sein. Die Nematoden haben ganze Arbeit geleistet. Auf den Gelbtafeln sind keine neuen mehr dazu gekommen und im Zelt sehe ich auch nichts mehr. Sobald die Pflanze aber wieder Wasser bekommt, werde ich sicherheitshalber, noch einmal mit Nematoden gießen. Die Parameter in Woche 5: Durchschnittliche Tagestemperatur: 28 Grad Durchschnittliche Nachttemperatur: 22 Grad Durchschnittliche Luftfeuchtigkeit Tag: 64% Durchschnittliche Luftfeuchtigkeit Nacht: 60% Durchschnittliche Bodenfeuchtigkeit: 50% LED Leistung: 20% = 90 Watt Beleuchtungsdauer: 18 Stunden DLI: 20 Controller Einstellung Tag: Advanced AI VPD 1,2 Controller Einstellung Nacht: Advanced AI VPD 1,0 Durchschnittlicher VPD Tag: 1,4 Durchschnittlicher VPD Nacht: 1,1 Umluft: Stufe 1 oszillierend

Das kleine 150 Watt Licht macht sich bemerkbar. An Tag 40 sind sie schon etwas zu sehr ausgetrocknet. Dann mit 2L pro Pflanze gegossen.

Her final week of flowering start of week ten of flowering will be chopped next Tuesday then I'll post final results. I'm praying for 8 zips I really would like to break my record my biggest autoflower haul has been 7.5 zips dry! Second being 6 and then 5 and half. My average is 4 zips while minimum 1 zip. This girl was hard to keep up with feeding. I was watering it everyday for the last 3 weeks believe it or not. Biggest auto grown wide as fuck. Lst to perfection. Idk what else to say one happy auto grower as always :)
