9/16 - Did some light defoliation today and adjusted the LST. With the Nature's Living Soil Autoflower mix, I don't have to feed them. So these have been SO easy to grow. I just water with RO water and organic blackstrap molasses (unsulphered). 9/20 - Watered and adjusted LST. All 3 GSCs have begun to flower! They are now on their way.

Esa familia, estoy de nuevo por aquí, os traigo la última semana de crecimiento de estas candy caramelo de Zambezaseeds. Estoy bastante contento las 3 son simétricas están creciendo en un tanque de 7 litros en los cuales aportamos el primer riego con nutrientes para solventar alguna carencia leve, sobre todo de nitrógeno pero nada como echarles de comer. El ph está controlado, la temperatura no aumenta de 26 grados y la humedad la mantenemos por encima de 50%. Cómo apreciáis, todo va sobre ruedas, veremos que tal se comportan de ahora en adelante, saludos fumetillas y buenos humos.

Conditions have remained stable...realized I forgot to drop the light after cleaning, so dropped her back down to 28.5”. She has reacted well to every slight adjustment made...

Day 28- business as usual. May top dress end of this week, not sure. But smells and trichs are setting up and no signs of deficiencies. I probably could push them more but it’s all good for now. Day 30- ditched the trellis and did a heavier defol as the humidity would reach 73 with lights off. See if we can get some better airflow and fatter lowers.

Not entirely sure what it is but doesn't seem to effecting plant growth or the other 3. Been taking off any leafs with brown spots on and to be fair its been minimal 3 or 4 at most. Did see some small fruit flys In the room so will have to give the room a spray down. Apart from that the girls are looking healthy. Lights been turned upto %75 for week 2 of flower so will see how it goes 👍🏻💡 .. girls loving the light well happy with the FC4800.. energy saving compared to the spiderfarmer. I was running spiderfarmer full power by end of veg and that was around 440w from the wall. The FC4800 has only been pulling half of that from the wall and even now at %75 is still only running 360watts.. money saver and Plants are looking beast. Nutrients are killing it, no problems at all. This is only my 2nd coco grow and 1st with this Nutrient company. This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. D64. A new week starts, and the stretch continues. Sigh. The first girl stopped at 80 cm, while the second is over 130 cm and still stretching. If she doesn't stop soon, I'll be in real trouble. Quite frustrating since it will affect both yield and quality. I added a few sachets with predatory Cucumeris mites to the girls. There are no problems, and I haven't scouted any bugs, but since I had thrips in the tent in the previous grow, I want to be proactive in case some bugs survived. I gave the second girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with bokashi and fermented fruit juice. ------------------------------ D67. The second girl stretched even more to a point where one of the tops touched a light. To combat this problem, I removed the first girl and put her in my small drying tent since my LSD-25 was just done drying. It's a wee bit tight, and I had to add some side-lighting to get enough photons to her, but it should work out. The yield will take a hit, but I suspect the second girl will more than make up for it. I moved the second girl into the middle of the tent and thus could bend the tops outward, creating more space to the light. I also removed additional foliage in her lower canopy. The second girl is massive, by far the largest auto I've grown, and she drinks a lot and requires daily watering. Considering her size, I am concerned that she will run out of nutrients, so I need to devise a strategy for keeping her fed. Topdressing will be tricky as the pot is already quite full, but I will add as much as possible and then feed compost teas often. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the sixth week of flower, and the second girl is still stretching. She has slowed down, but one of the tops I already had bent hit the light, so I had to bend it even more. I top-dressed the second girl today to give her a boost, considering her size. I used kelp powder, rock dust, neem meal, calcified seaweed, and worm castings. She then got 2 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with fulvic and humic acid. ------------------------------

Day 65 - Pics/Vids..... Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

Va a pasar a la tercera semana de vegetación el sábado 23 de mayo, la subsiguiente se hará el primer topping (apical). Las dos que tuvieron problemas en sus dos primer hojas reales, se han recuperado muy bien. 22/05 se rego con todo, un super cocktail. 27/05 las dos plantas mas grandes les hago Topping. La tercera le dare una semana mas. 28/05 las tres GDP son transplantadas a maceteros de 7L.

Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, what’s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? 😉 In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didn’t get it, but then it just clicked! Now I’m hooked: "I’m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, don’t forget CalMag! Next time, I’ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, it’s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. It’s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue what’s happening here yet, but it’s fascinating! I’ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come true—I’ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasn’t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, I’d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. I’ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champ—especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasn’t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now I’m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aroma—a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor It’s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the same—like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. I’m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what I’ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. It’s the perfect evening strain. I’ve smoked a lot over the years, but I’ve never experienced true euphoria—until now. Guess I’ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. 😅 It’s not a strain for productivity or chores, but it’s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthy—maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didn’t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldn’t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, I’ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3–4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so it’s not from the beginning. Still, it’s an incredibly useful tool for understanding growth rates. I’ll definitely use it for future grows. Comparing yesterday to today is one thing, but rewinding a week to see how things were is game-changing. I recommend it! You can even use an old phone with a timelapse app if your camera doesn’t support it by default. --- What’s Next I’ve grown fat buds before, but I’ve always neglected curing. This time, I’m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50–60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20–23°C, with frequent venting to keep it below 21°C for terpene preservation. After 7–10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, I’ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, I’ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, I’ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. I’ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, I’ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma. For now, I’m taking a breather, fine-tuning my setup, and preparing for my next grow: Wizard Trees - Zangria S1.

The 2nd week was great for the plants. Specially Banana Purple Punch and Forbidden Runtz They stretched and grow without no problem. I'm excited for week 3. I LST them, I did some defoliation and they got fed with Goldleaf feterlizer and I added mycos chum and cal-mag to the mix. Let see how they do.

Happy belated new years! Work and Holidays have taken a toll not only on me but the plants as well. Sadly, i didnt take any pictures. Also, Afghan Kush is yellowing quite a bit and showing signs of calmag def, while the blueberry just now started showing signs of a developed Phosphor def. We will try and tackle those problems in week 8, where ill also add more pics again. Im putting those issues in relation to me overwatering the shit out of them in the first couple of weeks and also by trying to delay adding flower nutes and not adding preventive calmag, which ill probably do from now on, since my previos run also showed some minor calmag problems, but nothing as drastic as this now. other than that, theyre growing, and the afghan kush is putting on some mass. Blueberry is chilling but als way more bushy. See you next week and enjoy the timelapse! :D
