Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Hello folks 😎 Welcome for the first week of flowering ( 45 days veg )✊ they reacted well to the transition to 12/12 day/night just the little one begins to show signs of deficiency but it makes sense given the size of the pot ( 6L) Still no nutrients, just rhizotonic with aprox 4.5 liters of water every 5/6 days At the end of the week (day 7) I swaped the MH 400W with my new kit the Hellion 600 / 750W DE-HPS, in my opinion it's a must have if you're a fan of HPS 💪 See you next week Peace Love & Weed GD Fam😍👊

What can I say about this one she’s my pride and joy she’s got so much buds growing on her it’s amazing I just hope that in the next couple of weeks they will swell and fatten up besides that I couldn’t be happier she’s got a beautiful fruity smell and an amazing frosting I’m planning to feed her for another two weeks And then will start flushing Description Candida (CD-1) has the highest CBD and lowest THC content of any strain currently available on the seed market. It was named after the founder of Medical Marijuana Genetics’ late mother and means ‘bright light’ in Latin. Our Laboratory results show CBD levels of between 20.6% and 10.9% CBD with THC levels rising with higher CBD levels - but never passing 1% THC. The balance between CBD and THC remains more consistent than any similar strain. With these ratios of CBD to THC, the anti-psychotic capabilities of the higher levels of CBD outweigh the relatively small amounts of THC, and effectively remove the "high", psychological effect, ensuring a non-psychoactive cannabis plant. Candida can be grown both indoors and outdoors. It is recommended for all environments and grow-media and has a unique lemon flavour and aroma that compliments its medicinal properties. CD-1 will flourish in any climate. It has impressed many with its highly vigorous early growth Candida will noticeably produce two different phenotypes; a sativa and an indica. Initial research has suggested that the sativa phenotype will produce lower, whispier yields often associated with sativa strains. We have noticed to date that the sativa pheno produces higher CBD counts. In comparison, the indica pheno will produce bigger, denser yields with lower CBD levels but still with significant CBD content. It is recommended to give good care to the sativa phenos as these can be harder to manage and will have larger distances between the internodes making the plants more vulnerable. Generally, the sativa pheno is better suited to making extractions than to smoking and vaping, whilst the indica pheno is suitable for all. We started the 8th week of flowering, the time of harvest is approaching, this last week we will use flawless finish to clean the plants of nutrients before cutting them. Possibly a week of flowering extra would be good, but in this case I will cut them after 8 weeks. The appearance is exquisite, full of resin and with an incredible smell.

So week 2 was a bit of a fuck up, I think. The scrog went into flower and by the end of week 1, it was looking far to busy and leafy, zero light was getting through so I decided to thin down a little. Also I wasn't happy with how the scrog was over developing, so I took away the net and allowed them some free growth and little more spread across the canopy. I think this work stressed them a little, who knows?? Ideally I should have given them a far more comprehensive prune a week before flower, alas I didn't so here I am. This weekend will mark 3 weeks of flower, and apart from the prune I've seriously left alone and will have for a couple weeks, so this weekend they will get some serious defoliation and probably a few straggler tops will be removed to thin down a little. After this weekend, again, just feed and monitor. So looks like I was just being a bit of a drama queen, the plants are doing superbly as I near wk 3, lots and lots of colas. I will be thinning these as needed whilst I prune by taking out any stragglers. I've also added back in some boost nutes just to help overcome any stress I may have caused. I've also raised the lights slightly to reduce stress at this important stage. Last one for this week, all plants fully defoliated which I'm stoked about, no problems, I think I'll need the odd support cane since a binned the scrog, but apart from that not much else left to do other that monitor all aspects to make sure of no silly mistakes.

Shown substantial grow over the last week. Doubled in height. Thinking I should have used a bigger grow bag as it's only in a 2 gal bag but it's already flowering so I won't transplant now. Starting to see a lot more pistil and calyx development. Gave the plant it's first feeding at the beginning of the week with a general plant and vegetable fertilizer. Noticed a richer green in the leaves since being fed.

I have been starving my flowering plants this week to provoke that trichome production. I Will clean out the veg room and germinate seeds for next grow. Half strenght nutes this week as well

On flush regime, water only, no nutrients, only a soil cleaning solution. Still has some clear trichomes, a few milky and no browns. Guess it has to flower 1 or 2 weeks more. Full history of the setup on week 1.

Last week was pretty stable. The buds are steadily fattening up, just how we like it. They all got burned leave tips, I think it has to do with too little runoff, because I’m using GHE’s flora hydro schedule on exactly half strength. Its not getting worse over the last days so its probably not a big deal. Like I said last week, I have a dehumidifier now. I got it hooked up to one of the air holes on the bottom. My sonoff temperature and humidity sensor checks when it goes over 65% rh, and fires on the dehumidifier whenever needed to blow difrectly in the tent. I do wonder if I could save on electricity to get a stronger exhaust fan. Because the humidity outside the tent is low enough, so more air circulation could fix the humidity issue without actively dehumidifying I think. I’ve been eyeing on the Apogee SQ-102 PAR meter. Its not perfect for led light but it does give a pretty good idea about the amount of light hitting the plants. I’d like to get a better idea of the optimal distance between plants and light. Especially since i ran into loads of light burn issues in this grow and past grows.
