Man... What a week! So we closed in on week 6. I JUST moved all of my stuff across town! Went well! I FINALLY got everyone setup where they belong...

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2201 girl and she's certainly on a roll! When I checked on her today her medium was still moist so I'll let her go and check her tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure her medium doesn't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch her grow! 🤩 12/17- Yesterday I watered her and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen her branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched her grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered her with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses added which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. She is really starting to take off now, a sure sign her roots are beginning to get well developed, and I'm thinking of going ahead and topping her in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped this girl! Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. Today I watered her with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into her drip pan so she can draw it up into her medium, the rest I applied to the top of the medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and she should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

She's growing amazingly I really hope she will start flowering very late since i want her to grow bigger. Giving her more nutes and shes taking it well

What amazing genetics! The trunk on this hag at 21 days could support a huge cola right now! Underneath the lateral growth is happening without any sun, the giant fan leaves from this obvious Indica dom are preventing any light from getting down there. Once we flower I’ll use those branches for clones and keep that central kola going. This is a rare plant, I feel fortunate to be working with a powerful plant like this.

After keeping an eye on the tricomes I've seen most of them turn white so last night I mixed 1.5ml/L of flawless finish and saturated the soil and left to set overnight this morning I flushed all 3 plants so far they dont look stressed out at all I was scared being my first time yet I still dont know if it was successful

Day 83: After being in the dark for like 4-7 days, they where ready to harvest. All plants getting cut by the machine, big buds are cut by hand. I never weight wet buds because that doesnt make any sence. I will update soon on how much it is dry weight. My friend helped me with the harvest since it takes many hours of work. I have many buds that are as big or bigger as my hand. Quallity so far looks promising even thought there are shitty buds as well, but thats normal and oke. They have been cut freshly so I won't lose much weight when cutting. This will happen when cutting dry buds. The remaining small leafs on the wet buds will dry in with the buds and will be barely visible. More info soon.

excellent recovery from the top pruning I did last week, again watering with top crop top veg and they seem to be doing very well enjoying the substrate and the fertilizer and the climate

LST only pheno is turning purple and the topped one is forming bigger bud packed with resin. They are progressing rapid now. 3 to 4 weeks to go

The nice weather has finally returned, and it should stick around for the next few weeks. It's just in time for the last couple weeks of the ladies. ☀️☀️☀️

(11/25-12/01) Hope everyone enjoys the daily progressions of overhead and side profile (Organized Chaos) Unfortunately they have too much of a toll for me to keep up with with 3 sets of grows going now, so this was the last week I am doing them on this set. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 3 Notes & Observations: As mentioned last week, Plant 1 remains the supreme plant now and is producing nice stretch in the node spacing but is still showing a different type of leaf shape than plant 2. No issues from the mainline topping and they seem to be going okay. I will be topping again this weekend for the second of 3 total topping sessions. This topping will be 2 tops off the ends of the last and will produce 4 main colas. **OOPS** was being a little too aggressive in my HST while trying to set the mainline on both plants today. P1 was just a little rip of the skin, I taped her up and suspect she will be fine. However, on P2, I nearly snapped the whole branch off. I taped it and crossed my fingers hoping it works out in a week or two, but have serious doubts it will be able to mend such a large break. We'll see because I am posting ALL of the grow, the good and the bad. VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im not adjusting my lights and look to control them 350ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe will be noted in this top message of the week that I make it.*** Day 28 (last feed was day 22) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, P1 weighed 15lbs 12oz and P2 was 15lbs 4oz before feed. Each plant got 1 gallon of de-chlorinated tap water with 300ppm Veg Mix concentrate added (recipe on week 2 and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute each feed, i.e. I only fed 300ppm above the purified water ppm this feed) The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.0ph to combat the original higher runoff ph from the first runoff feed. After feed P1 weighed 22lbs 3oz (21lbs 2oz after last feed) and P2 weighed 21lbs 14oz (20lbs 14oz after last feed). I got about 5cups of runoff on P1 (9 cups last feed) and 5 cups on P2 (7 cups last feed) . Runoff for P1 ph was 6.45 with 1170ppm (6.45ph with 980ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.45 with 1230ppm (6.45 with 1130ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.35,6.3,6.33,6.33 for an avg of 6.327 (6.497 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.47,6.37,6.26,6.51 avg 6.402 (6.46avg after last feed) - next feed will be 6.3ph as Im liking where the ph is so I dont see any issues, but will continue to monitor this way. Day 34 (last feed was day 28) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. 1st Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz. Before feeding this time, P1 weighed 14lbs 14oz (15lbs 12oz before last feed) and P2 was 14lbs 7oz before feeding (15lbs 4oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water with 98ppm Veg Mix concentrate added to flush any salt builds in the soil (recipe on week 2 and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute in each feed, i.e. I only fed 98ppm above the de-chlorinated tap water ppm this feed) Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am starting a 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to each plant's feed then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.3ph. I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I may consider a new feeding standard) After feed, P1 weighed 21lbs 9oz (22lbs 3oz after last feed) and P2 weighed 21lbs 7oz (20lbs 14oz after last feed). I got about 11cups of runoff on P1 (5 cups last feed) and 11 cups on P2 (5 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase for flush this round. Runoff for P1 ph was 6.65 with 838ppm (6.45 with 1170ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.60 with 879ppm (6.45 with 1230ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.58,6.57,6.58,6.67 for an avg of 6.600 (6.327 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.47,6.61,6.64,6.64 to avg 6.590 (6.402 avg after last feed) - next feed will be 6.0ph as I'm still liking where the ph is, but rather see it closer to 6.3 or 6.4 top and bottom. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit and I will continue to monitor runoff ppms as I expected this to be higher with more runoff.
