@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Have fliped the switch to 11/13, as suggested by Dj Short, the blueberry strain creator. I’m experimenting a bit with light schedules, in veg I have used 6/2 x3 , so the lighting was divided in equal periodes of 6 light 2 dark, that provided a more stable climat, girls responded well. The ignitor to try that was a few articles that suggested the plantas have a limited amonth of light that can be processed and that helps absorb and process more since they have fragmented rest periods. I’m wanting to experiment with some deep red diodes, IR and UVA diodes. I have taken some clones of this mistery strain that is growing great, and the veg tent will be their home for two months Until I harvest the girls. The HLG leds are working great, and was very fun to build, I’m not sponsored by this guys, by the way, but the outcome is just amazing by what I has used to... My next DIY project is a Aeroponics cloner machine!

Lovely lady... but getting a little weird in that I've had to reduce her EC several times... I guess she just doesn't LIKE a whole lot of nutes! It's been a struggle this past week trying to get the pH and EC balanced out so they're both stable... and it ALWAYS happens to me about this time in each grow. Some year, I'll figure it out - until then, I'll remain a bit frustrated! LOL! Toying with the idea of doing more "defoliation" to get rid of what I KNOW will be larfy buds... even though I haven't officially "scrogged" her, I've used LST to essentially produce the same results so I'm planning to do a little lollipopping on her... might as well be today! Sorry I haven't been keeping up this diary in the manner I had been... I've got a lot of idiot things going on in my life. If you ever have questions about what I'm doing or not doing with this grow, just DM me and I'll try to explain.... :-D 03/28 .... ok, she's now officially driving me bonkers. Wild pH swings even while the EC holds steady... I can't figure out what she wants at all but we continue to talk to each other... I'll figure out her language soon enough! She's going through a massive stretch period now which might be the cause of all the drama going on inside the bucket... just SHOOTING up and looking fine even if the numbers aren't what I would call happy. Gave her a pretty decent haircut just before she started stretching and I'm glad I did... so many more buds are now getting full light and I've got the canopy where I want it... Might have to do some more LST down the line if she gets much closer to the lights although I DO still have some room to move them up (thank god I got a taller tent!). Week 14 Day 92 | 21/07/2022: I think these girls are ready! But I will still wait until the end of the week to cut them down together with the other two. Although I am thinking of cutting down one of two stems to start drying some early.. I'll see Day 93 | 22/07/2022: No time today Day 94 | 23/07/2022: Watered the girls today with just 1.5L of water. The temperatures have dropped thankfully so it's not too hot for them now. I've also decided to cut down one stem from Jackie to start drying it early. Since we're gonna be moving I wanted a little bit to dry beforehand. Day 95 | 24/07/2022: The girls definitely look like they need to be harvested right now. Just a few days left! Day 96 | 25/07/2022: The leaves have gone purple! I think that's because they are way over-ripe ;D Although I must say the buds are more on the smaller side... Also I decided not to water them anymore so they can dry up a bit before harvest in 3 days! Day 97 | 26/07/2022: Day 98 | 27/07/2022: Day 99 | 28/07/2022: Today was the big day! (for the girls and for myself) So the only thing I did was tidied up the foliage by removing all the fan leaves, cutting the girls at the base and handing them in the tent. I find that the remaining leaves really help keep the moisture at a higher level and they tend to smell less like hay. I will be leaving the girls to dry for about 10 days, and then I always put them into glass jars to cure! I would have ideally harvested these girls earlier but maybe this will make it a super strong smoke. Can't wait to smoke (vape) them!

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Der grow nimmt Fahrt auf, die Spitzen werden frosty und sobald das Zelt aufgeht schlägt einem penetranter Cali Geruch entgegen. Die Mental Rainbow ist inzwischen ein Viertel größer als die blue Skunk und doppelt so groß wie die new Money. Letztere wächst so klein, eng und buschig dass ich alle paar Tage entlauben muss, die Nervensäge kommt mir eher nicht nochmal ins Zelt 😄 Licht hängt jetzt auf maximaler höhe und läuft auf 95%. Lüfter ist auch am Anschlag wahrscheinlich mach ich den Trafo noch weg gegen Ende, dann gibt's nochmal 40V mehr power. Möge das bulken beginnen.
