D71/FD43 - Sooo...its all gone a bit to dick this week! So, as noted before, Oscillating RAM fans keep blowing on me. Just stop dead and haven't got a chance to get down the 90miles to get them replaced again. Well, noticed a few leaves that looked like they may be a bit light coloured...only 1 or 2, at the top buds which is strange and not really an N deficiency...so I looked more closely....4 buds with the dreaded fur on them!!! Fucking Bud Rot!!! Ones closest to the door that would get the biggest temp differential (So the weirdest humidity) and no air really getting round them!!! Talk about a SICKNER! This grow just seems to be blighted (literally) with something new every 3 weeks!!! So, had to chop a few tops and now going to be on the defensive for the next few weeks. We're not yet ripe and *hoping* as these had the least air movement round them, the spores didn't get about the place!!! Worst as well is the height of all the plants...cant get the UVB bulb in there for fear of burning them but that would potentially sterilise the fungus (I'd usually be using a 10K finisher this week but with the change to LED...) so now to work out what to do. Also didn't help that I didn't put the lid on my tank right last night doing a check and think i pumped about 10L of water about the place!!! Yip, today was a disaster!!! So, apart from that, I've dropped the Silicon and changed to TNC bactorr for my root inoculant (Out of great white). Apart from that, happy growing all!!! 💪

Another good week i would say. I do simple lst but just to shape up the plants. Next week will be the last veg week. I decided to switch to 12/12 by the end of the next week. I am considering a nice pre-flower flush with pure ph-ed water mixed with some organic molasses. I won't defoliate the plants but i will do lollipop some time at week 3 of flowering.

This her after 1 week of 12/12. I was away for 3 days and visited the Mary Jane! Thanks for every new follower i met there and it was awesome to spread some kindness and information. Awesome weekend! She will be defoliated at 21 days roughly so 2 more weeks and we will check her again. Otherthen that she seems happy and healthy, also no unwanted visitors like pests or mildew ;)

Pleasure to grow. Low maintenance in super soil setup in 5 gal cloth pot. Stayed small and compact but frosted up early and heavily. No deficiencies, steady growth, no training needed. Even minimal LST (which I did not do), would surely increase yield but I was more focused on quality and letting it do its thing. Genetically, it was determined to grow a perfect little canopy while not taking up much space, about as low maintenance as you can get on a plant imo. Running autos is still a limited thing for me, I like the idea of having keeper clones of photos as this is all for personal medical use, but this plant was fun to grow, true to form and stable as heck. I have a few seeds left and I’ll definitely save them for an outdoor run down the line

The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet!

Es ist vorbei, jetzt wird geerntet. Zwei sehr unterschiedliche Phänotypen werden sehr bald im Vaporisator auf ihren Geschmack, Duft und Wirkung getestet werden. Auch wenn die kleinere der beiden Pflanzen vielleicht noch etwas länger hätte stehen können. Es war kein Platz mehr im Zelt und der oberste Bud der großen Runtz fing an zu verbrennen. Für ein SOG halte ich solch unterschiedliche Phänotypen nicht geeignet, anders sieht es allerdings mit Stecklingen von ihnen aus. Insgesamt unkomplizierte Pflanzen, nur die Thripsen bekam ich nie vollständig in den Griff. Dies war mein erster Indoor Grow und ich stelle fest, daß meine Grow Box nur Platz für eine Pflanze hat wenn es eine Schönheitskönigin werden soll. Immerhin habe ich es noch geschafft eine paar schöne Blattverfärbungen an der größeren Pflanze zu erreichen. Auf den Bildern kann man das wilde, ungestüme gut erkennen. Danke an Zamnesia, dass ich diesen Strain ausprobieren konnte! Ich habe ja noch ein paar Samen für weitere Grows. Vielen Dank auch an Plagron für den Blütendünger. Das solch dicke Blütenkolben möglich sind hätte ich vor diesem grow nicht geglaubt. Ich wünsche allen anderen Teilnehmern dieses Contests einen erfolgreichen Abschluss und eine gute Ernte! P.S. Wenn ich mir so in der Verößerung die Frostigkeit der Buds ansehe, wird mir etwas Bange... --- It's over, now it's time to harvest. Two very different phenotypes will soon be tested in the vaporizer for their taste, aroma and effect. Even if the smaller of the two plants could perhaps have stood a little longer. There was no more room in the tent and the top bud of the large Runtz started to burn. I don't think such different phenotypes are suitable for a SOG, but the situation is different with cuttings from them. All in all, uncomplicated plants, but I never got the thrips completely under control. This was my first indoor grow and I realize that my grow box only has room for one plant if it is to be a beauty queen. At least I managed to get some nice leaf coloration on the larger plant. You can see the wild, impetuous growth in the pictures. Thanks to Zamnesia for letting me try this strain! I still have a few seeds for further grows. Many thanks also to Plagron for the flower fertilizer. I would never have believed that such thick flower bulbs were possible before this grow. Day 49 from seed...flowering...no Need for CO2 supplementation...probabily growing with organic nutrient and soil can increase natually the CO2 level...Need info about this... The new growth is coming in a little limey, we insist on reusing Promix so PH is always a bit of a rollercoaster lol.. no sweat, usually a gallon each PH'd to 5.5 with 5ml/gal N solution will get them back to baseline..we seem to have the same issue with most plants grown in our basement during summer, I'm sure the super high humidity and low evaporation rate has something to do with it... if they don't come around after the adjustment, they'll spend some time under the HIDs, this always straightens them out..we topped the mainline for the last time today for 8 mains per side, as well as another full round of toppings on the x2 LST plants... thanks for reading if you made it this far and happy growing everyone!!! ❤️🐱💡🌱 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/22/21 🐱 Quick update, the mainlined plant is showing signs of calcium deficiency which is odd, with our routine we almost never have Calcium or magnesium issues..its really only noticeable under the florescent lights on this one but we'll have to make changes.. they all have plenty of calcium in their media so I'm wondering if the PH has gone screwy in that pot.. we reuse promix which gets really acidic sometimes and we add lime to buffer this but we guess a lot and may not have used enough (or waited long enough)..I know when our media gets around 5-5.5 calcium deficiency is a huge issue..ill add a little more calcium to be sure and will try using water PH'd higher (6.5-7) and see if this helps anything. Plants are finishing up, maybe another week and I can wrap things up. Buds didn’t get as fat as I would have liked but everything looks really nice and frosty. cleaned up all the plants with some defoliation.
