Day 83 - 03/06/23 - Harvested Northern Lights #1

The moniker Mother Superior is apt. Purple Wedding Glue stands a full two node spaces taller than her tent sisters and holds court while pontificating on the virtues of hard work and being a sexy bitch 💅. There’s argument to be made about genetics and structure but there’s also no denying that the Nun dug a little deeper and found something that her peers didn’t or couldn’t. With the onset of pistils, Purple Wedding Glue saw a rehoming with an entirely different set of environmental parameters, namely slightly higher DLI and a crash in humidity to 50-55% that she accepted with grace and poise followed also by a jump in nutrition with the start of her flowering solution minus the first week of flower K dose. And that’s where the complications set in… As I write this I’m looking at the start of leaf stress, inward curling on the new growth sans any burning or clawing, that I’m attributing to myself and my propensity to push the envelope in the name of frugalness. Bio diesel state very clearly on their foliar feed chart “we advise using Rhino K within the first 24 hours of mixing”… I did not lol, and I now believe that 72 hours is asking too much of the solution 🤣. So the foliar application of K brought with it a hiccup but nothing dramatic, lesson learned, only fresh foliar mixtures from now on. But that situation lead me to leave out the K from PWG’s first coco soak. In saying all that the K application did see a tightening and decrease in node spacing and subsequently a slow in vertical growth. A welcome and expected result as PWG was suffering from a slight case of scoliosis due to cramping in the nursery tent. And smell. PWG now comes equipped with an olfactory experience. A deep waft of her admittedly early main cola site suggests a slight but evident dank on the front and burned coffee on the back, no doubt to change and evolve as she matures but any scent beyond planty chlorophyll gets a smile. Flush ended two days before the darkness period. Decided on a 48 darkness periods though some prefer 24 or 72. The darkness did help trichomes reappear at the tops of the canopy. Going for a longer dry of 10 days, best temperatures are 60-70F to preserve the terps with 50-60RH. This has been an amazing experience, definitely putting in more passion into the next run.

She is fully in flower now and is stretching 😻, hoping she stretches a lot more tho. She wasn't very thirsty, she only needed 2,4l of water. I again used 4ml of biobizz grow and bloom. I also removed a few leaves to make sure that every budsite gets enough sunlight.

Week 4 Last week was good gave the last defoliation for day 21. Adding a higher feed for her. This plant has the least pistil production so I upped the light over it to see if it will help but it also seems like the slowest grower of the plants I’m running still looking good though no deficiency I see Check out my IG for more content @therealterpio & check out my other dairies (Gelato Cake & the new)

420 Fastbuds Week 2 Blackberry Auto What up what up. Weekly update on these girls. They have had some great growth showing no real signs of issues. Still watering about a liter daily with just well water out of the drip system. I can't wait to see how they'll do this next week. Until then Happy Growing

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

Establishing solid roots and healthy shoots in Floragard Growmix soil. No nutrients added yet; the young Donutz ladies are riding on the starter mix's nutritional buffer. RO water keeps everything clean and pH balanced, ensuring no unwanted minerals creep in this early. Observations: All seedlings looking vibrant, green, and strong. Uniform growth across the board — perfect for the Sea of Green (SOG) method. Temps stable, ensuring no stress. Light is dimmed a touch for the youngins, keeping nodes tight but not overwhelming. Next Steps: The plan is simple — maintain stable conditions, keep an eye on humidity, and prepare to introduce Greenhouse Feeding once the seedlings are ready to crank up the nutrient game. For now, it's all about building those roots and establishing a foundation for the dense, resinous canopy that’s to come.

Week 2 Flowering - day 13 of flower - day 69 of life Apple blossom 🌸 is growing well to. Nice branch sides, strong stem, and seems flowering is doing really well to her.

Today the 12/11/21 we start week 3 and I’ve been trying some light training on a couple of them just moving the big leafs from blocking the light to some smaller sights.they didn’t need water today either!!! Day 23-13/11/21 I’m trying out a bit of low stress training if that’s what I can call it I’m just moving the fan leaves so they don’t block we’re buds are gonna grow!!! Also gave them nice bit of water with biobizz grow today!!!! 1ml per litre!!!! Day 24-14/11/21 damn they got big since yesterday haven’t done anything today just letting them go wild probably put net on tomorrow!!! Day 25-15/11/21 nothing new today but there growing like mad!!!! Day 26-16/11/21 gave them a nice bit of water with bio bizz grow again!!! Day 27-17/11/21 nothing new today just watching the jungle start to form!!!! Day 28- 18/11/21 some of them are starting to bud!!!!!
