🌸 Week 6 Flower – Gelonade Diaries The Gelonade girls continue their elegant dance into flower, both Pheno #1 and Pheno #2 shining in their own unique way. Their structures remain remarkably similar, tall, strong, and full of energy, while each holds onto her own personality, expressed in leaf form and flower shape. This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. Now here we are in Week 6: the garden maturing, the flowers stacking, the personality of the genetics truly revealing itself. 💧 Feeding & Balance The recipe continues to revolve around Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost, Top Booster, and Plagron’s Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation, with Aptus All-In-One Liquid helping tie the orchestra together. We’re keeping EC balanced, always mindful that the soil already provides a strong foundation. 💡 What’s Happening & What’s Next This week is all about observation. Flowers are swelling, resin begins to sparkle in early traces, and aromas start to hint at what’s to come. What to expect: denser buds, richer pistil coloration, and a canopy that will soon demand defoliation for airflow. What not to expect: miracles overnight. This is the stage of patience, where the magic brews quietly within each calyx. 💚 Closing Thought The Gelonades remind us that growth is rarely flawless. A spot on a leaf is not a failure, but a message. Perfection isn’t the goal, balance is. And balance is exactly what these girls are showing us week after week. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. Läuft prima. 2 fat banana legen sehr gut los. Hab sie entlaubt, damit sie in der Blüte Sonne an den richtigen Stellen bekommt und sie gut belüftet bleibt. Auf den Bildern noch mit Laub. Orion macht weiter ihr turboDing ,ich füttere sie jetzt mehr.sie will es und ich glaub, bei dem Wachstum brauch sie es auch. Also läuft mit den verbliebenen mädels🙂 bis nächste Woche ✌️

Well, it looks as if one of the 3 plants is a male. I live in denial for one more day and then I toss it. Not sure which plant it is, as I painted over the strain names when I painted the cups grey. Smooth. So I will find out soon. Otherwise, good weather and some good growth. Roots are balled up at the bottom of the dutch bucket reservoir, Im sure, because I let the drip go dry for a day or two and the plants were droopin (coco)

Another week has brought loads of new healthy grow with it. This plant is an absolute Queen!! It is just a little maintenance from here on out. 😎🍿🍻

Caught up... things are going well, Bruce stretched like crazy and has evened up its canopy to the others idk if it's that big bud in it or what. Lilac has looked a solid week and half ahead of the others since flower, she looks wicked though, trichromes are starting to build. I've done my last training, I usually go hard on thinning but I'm trying to be conservative and only uncover buds under leaves. Still same feeding routine.. looking forward to the finish line but know this is an important time with terms and trichromes beginning to resonate... I sick at this guy's but I want to get better at chronicling my grows.. so hourly I will improve in the process of Journaling.

These ones look to be moving from the stretching phase into full bud production now. I am starting to see more and more trichomes develop which is exciting. Carried a good bit of defoliation this week cleaning up the lower branches and removing larger leafs that block multiple bud sites. Light still is set at 90% power. ✌️🌱🙂

03👹👺YOOOO GANG UPDATE!!!!! So its now Week 6 of veg lots of things have happened this week!!!! LETS GET INTO IT!!!!: 1) Did another flush again today and upped the feeding amount to 1040ppm from 955 wanted to see more growth 2) DID HAVE A SIDE BRANCH CRACK IN HALF about 60% BREAK FMLLL!!! Another week of waiting!! We have AMBER!! Flower times according to TNSB Purple Kush est. Flower time - 8 weeks Cheese est. Flower time - 8-9 weeks The Purple should be done next week and is only getting water when she is thirsty.... lift the pot technique works great!! Like previous Purple Kush grows I've done she is very popcorn like nugs and might be a little tricky to trim. The Cheese still has a few weeks left. Nice bud structure with the smallest nug being the size of a golf ball.... LOVE IT!! This was the last week for nutrient feeds and was still on a Nute, Water, Water schedule. (950 PPM on nutrient feeds)

Pretty good week, no problems. Added a dehumidifier yesterday (Saturday). And also bought a new light. The light should arrive on Tuesday. Looking forward to that because then I’ll be able to spread them out further so they’ll all have as much room to grow as they need. I believe they’ve started flowering, that happened like day 24 when I first noticed the white hairs coming out of the bud sites. They really took off growing mid way through the week. Like twice the growth as the prior week. I haven’t been defoliating per se, I have been tucking & tying leaves down. Many of the secondary flowering nodes have actually surpassed the main cola’s of my plants height wise. Those that did I tied slightly back down. Really wish I could cut a few branches off them without stressing them out. Oh well. Such is the bane of autoflower growing. The new light I bought is a Colofrog 2021 CF 2400 LED w/Samsung LM301H Osram Diodes. From what I gathered online, it’s a better light than the Mars hydro tsw 2000 I currently own. I’ve got my ts 1000 in the tent currently just to get through until the new light comes Tuesday.

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

I watered yesterday with just plain water with a dash of calmag, I am now done feeding her as I am hoping she will be fully mature shortly

Wow she's took to the skies this week! Grown another 27cm vertically! 💪 Absolutely marching through flowering! Very fast! Buds are developing well.

Final week. Power buds from Plagron helps accelerate the flowering period for sure. I am harvesting tomorrow.😎 This week no fertilizers just water only. Overall happy with the way they shaped up, compared to other strains from other breeders. Need to see after harvest but as a first impression this strain is amazing. The smell now is out of this world. Zesty!!!Lots of citrus scent.Loving it. As for the LST only vs topped. I like the LST only. It matured faster. It is bigger. It has more bud sites . Had an overall better structure. Refer to videos for comparison. But need to see the harvest, weight, smoke report for full comparison Till harvest 👏🎉

Did some defoliation of the lowers. Been just dunking this lady in the water bucket daily. Have a slight deficiency going, but will wait and see since it’s the start of flower

​🌿 Journal de Culture : Cherry Cola (Auto) ​Date : 31/03/2026 Âge : 68 jours (Semaine 10) Phase : Rinçage (Plante #1) / Maturation & Gonflement (Plante #2) ​📊 Paramètres de mon espace ​Température : 25°C (Jour) / 21°C (Nuit). ​Humidité : 50%. ​Éclairage : Pure LED 240W réglée à 100% d'intensité, maintenue à 70 cm de distance. ​💧 Nutrition & Arrosage ​Plante #1 (42 cm) : Rien reçu. Son pot est encore humide et elle a officiellement commencé son rinçage à l'eau pure. ​Plante #2 (34 cm) : 1 Litre d'eau avec 4 ml de PK 5-8 (BioTabs) PH 6,3. ​Je continue de la pousser avec le PK pour qu'elle profite de son temps de floraison plus long et qu'elle gagne un maximum de volume. ​📏 Suivi des Plantes & Travaux ​Plante #1 (La Grande - 42 cm) ​Observations : La sénescence est bien marquée. Les feuilles jaunissent, ce qui confirme que le rinçage porte ses fruits : elle puise dans ses stocks. ​Les Buds : Les pistils sont quasiment tous orangés. Même si les têtes me paraissent plus petites que d'habitude, elles sont d'une densité visuelle impressionnante et totalement recouvertes de givre. On mise tout sur la qualité et le poids à sec. ​Plante #2 (La Petite - 34 cm) ​Observations : Elle a encore besoin de temps. Son feuillage est plus vert et elle continue de fabriquer de nouveaux calices. L'apport de PK aujourd'hui est stratégique pour l'aider à dépasser sa grande sœur en termes de volume de fleurs. ​🔍 Mes observations ​L'aspect général sous le filet de SCROG est magnifique. Le contraste entre le jaune de sénescence de la n°1 et le vert plus soutenu de la n°2 est typique d'une fin de cycle bien gérée. La production de résine est vraiment le point fort de cette session ; c'est ultra-collant et l'odeur de bonbon sucré est omniprésente quand j'ouvre la tente. La n°1 est dans sa dernière ligne droite, alors que la n°2 est en plein pic de gonflement. Je remercie du fond du coeur tous ceux qui me suivent et me likes ( MUSIQUE DIAPOSITIVE FASTBUD )
