We are at 21 days from these girls breaking the surface and they are making progress. I noticed at the beginning of the week that they were a little overdosed on nitrogen so I added 2 gallons of tap water to the reservoir and adjusted the ph to 6. They are still looking a little heavy on N but their growth rate is going great so I think it should balance out by the end of next week. I dont plan on doing a water change until I flower them. I left the plants alone most of the week. Tied most of them down to spread them out and defoliated a few lower leaves on day 20. The branches on most of these plants are thick and solid already. They don't budge easily. Bananasicle is looking pretty funky with uneven branch and node growth but we are just going to push forward. Still pumping nutrients and beaming light 24 hours a day. I'm thinking day 28 we will switch them to flower and see if any of these ladies can bring some❄️🔥💨

22/08/18 - everything’s looking great I’m sure they will be finished stretching sometime this week and also should be getting an additional LED to add to the tent by the end of the week. Also started to lolly pop each plant took about a 1/4 of the leaves etc so far will see how it reacts to this to see if I can continue to 1/3. 24/08/18 - lookin good 48hr after I trimmed the bottom branches/big ass fan leaves in the shade looking miserable so i had to chop em. Still waiting on my extra led in the post.

So far so good. Another week has passed and everything looks nice. At the beginning of this week i transplanted the blue cheese and special queen in bigger pots and they dont look so small in comparison to the others. In generell all plants recovered good from the topping and in this week i think i will start with some LST and removing some of the lower leaves. I also raised the lighting higher, because i wanted to see if they stretch themselves a little bit, because they didnt grew so much in height but only developed more leaves, but i think i will lower it again and also increase intensity. Also i added up the fertilizer since i had some yellow colering of the leaves at the bottom, and so far they show no signs of overfeeding. Since it wasn't raining like in the last 2 weeks i took them outside to make some pictures with natural light. So lets go into the next week :)

This strain was just what I was looking for. After the previous trauma of letting my plant grow WAY too tall, I went into this grow looking for something much shorter and manageable and this was exactly it. The tying down at times were a pain, but one of those things that’s better in the long run. The transplanting kind of screwed me up a bit. Not only did I not really fill the pot enough, but I put them in horribly. The soil was falling apart and it was just an ugly mess. Trying to OD the plants wasn’t part of the plan either but they bounced back just fine. All in all it was a very easy strain to grow. The dry amounts of each plant are as follows. Plant 1: 48.2 grams. Plant 2: 51.8 grams. Plant 3: 46.4 grams. Plant 4: 50.1 grams and Plant 5: 51.2 grams for a total of 196.4 grams (7.8 oz’s)

The pineapple strain has been doing very good this whole grow she is only really on day 20 right now she popped up late compared to the other seeds. I have put her into a bigger container to help her grow bigger and start the LST training so I can get to bending .. The nutes are being increased with the pot size being larger now and she has loved it all ready can't wait to see next week's growth ..cheers canna family

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Unfortunately she gotta battle a littler for light given the size of her TCC sativa heavier neighbors. Maybe move her to the 3x3 soon so she gets all she needs. Such a delightful splash of color in blanket of yellows and greens <3
