Grow Diary – Week 7, Day 2 of Flowering Buds are stacking thick and frosty, and the tent is getting louder by the day. Trichomes are popping and the top colas are starting to bulk up nicely. Noticed she’s looking a little heavy on the nitrogen — darker leaves and slight clawing — so I’m dialing my A & B down a bit on the next feed. Still holding pH at 5.8 and PPMs just under 1000. Lower sites are getting more light now after daily tucking and some selective leaf removal. Airflow’s solid, RH around 60%. No signs of mold, just sticky, stanky progress. Finish line’s coming. Let’s ride.

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. the temperature is rising and spring has arrived. Hopefully it is the best for her. she has very big buds, which makes their weight down. hopefully they keep growing and my dog ​​doesn't eat them

Super Hot in the tent this week 90-97 the plants have been hanging in there thanks to the CO2 blasts. They are drinking a lot from the heat, LST all 3 to even out the canopy before the stretch of flowering. Week one is done the start of week 2 seeing hairs finally and have been spraying MILF A twice a day with the CS. I transplanted the clones as well, the roots were filling up the solo cups. I up potted to 3 gallon fabric pots and straight into flower. should get some colas to dust with Feminized pollen in a few more weeks. Im so Freaking Happy that they were all girls I got the hairs to prove it😅 UPDATE: 5/12/30 I'm happy to report the CS is doing its job. I am seeing well defined Sacs in the one branch I am spraying 2 times a day for 13 days I have read that it can take up to 2 weeks so this is right on target. Clones are recovering well I top dressed all the plants with the Sea blast Bloom in the Nutrient list up top all the others were put in to a 5 gallon bucket of water PH to 5.8 and drenched the plants. that's all for now. cheers

Looks like almost all white hairs are gone. Should be close to finishing, I hope anyways. Trimmed her up this past week a little bit. Plant is 99 days old.

Harvest day is upon us

Day 56 Shes really fattened up.. smelling great and super stinky. Looking forward to seeing how thick she gets. Shes maybe got another 3 weeks? Maybe 4 if i push her

new crop ... we'll see how it grows ... outdoors....let's see what she offers us outdoor ... and what color she can show us ...

Okay, that was it, her growth period is over. My summary is a bit of a mixed bag. Sonnenerde: I liked how the plant grew in this living soil and am curious on the result after drying and curing. But so far, I'm happy with the experiment Blumat: I give up - I fell like this is not the watering system for me, despite me really liking the idea and the concept of it. To be fair, I need to check the drippers, if the membrane and moving parts are spotless, to rule out reasons beyond my wrongdoing, but I'm not too hopeful. I just don't think I'll use it again. the water hoses/pipes(?) make the whole plant too immobile, not even turning the pot is possible. I'm sure it's great for certain situations, but just not for me. Bio Tabs PK Booster+Orgatrex: This time I used a little more Orgatrex, not sure if I changed anything else, but it really made a huge difference, even bigger than in previous grows. The aroma intensified dramatically, the buds were covered in trichomes and bulked up really nicely - and all that was noticeable after a few days.

This week the girls are really starting to fill out with some nice bud structures. A nice sweet smelling aroma when I walk around the yard lol good thing I have awesome neighbors. Can't wait for these buds to start putting on some weight Started the flush just a couple days before these photos were taken. Strictly water from here on out. And lots of it I also added a little macro video for you. Not the greatest quality, but you get to see some of the trichomes in the plants early stages of flowering g before ripening. Thanks!
