Chemical reactions in which, a single substance splits up into two or more simpler substances are called decomposition reactions. These reactions are carried out by energy, supplied by different sources. The required energy can be supplied by heat (thermolysis), electricity (electrolysis), or light (photolysis). Let’s talk about photolysis reactions (not photosynthesis): Photolysis (also called photodissociation and photodecomposition) is a chemical reaction, in which a chemical (an inorganic or an organic) is broken down by photons and is the interaction of one or more photons with one target molecule. The photolysis reaction is not limited to the effects of visible light, but any photon with sufficient energy (higher than the dissociation energy of the targeted bond) can cause the chemical transformation of the said (inorganic or organic) bond(s) of a chemical. Since the energy of a photon is inversely proportional to the wavelength, electromagnetic waves with the energy of visible light or higher, such as ultraviolet light, X-rays, and γ -rays, can also initiate photolysis reactions. Like all other peroxides, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) also consists of a relatively weaker O−O bond, which is susceptible to light or heat. The net equation for the reaction is: 2H2O2⟶2H2O+O2 The step-wise reaction mechanism is suggested as follows (Ref.1): H2O2+hν⟶2HO∙ HO∙+H2O2⟶HO−O∙+H2O HO−O∙+H2O2⟶2HO∙+H2O+O2 Using isotope studies it was confirmed that the O2 formed is cleanly derived from H2O2 (Ref.2). Notes: The rate increases rapidly in the presence of catalysts such as MnO2 and KI (Ref.2). The rate of decomposition is slow at room temperature, but it increases with temperature. However, alkaline H2O2 is well known to be less stable than acidic hydrogen peroxide (Ref.3) even in absence of light exposure, which accelerates its decomposition (which can involve radical pathways) liberating oxygen! Esta semana seleccionamos las plantas más adelantadas de nuestro cultivo, para colocarlas bajo la nueva luminaria Led LazerLite Pro 720 de The Pure Factory, con la potencia ajustada al 50%. Miramos de que las cuatro variedades estén representadas bajo el led y bajo las lamparas HID, de esta forma podremos ver las diferencias entre los dos sistemas. Seguimos con nuestra rutina de fertilización para la fase vegetativa Grow Soldier + Green Mystic by JUJU Royal y CALMAG de BioBizz. Al final de la semana, cambiamos el ciclo lumínico para pasar a 12/12 Floración.

Our Rainbow Sherbet of course from Zamnesia like all my plants has been the territory of realization for an exceptional mainfolding. After a topping that would seem very premature at the second internode (But that in autoflowering is also appropriate to delay flowering) I managed very well to make the lateral branches grow parallel to the ground. They form a T with the main stem that comes out of the ground a little. It seemed like it should be low, some joker even joked about it and instead it is becoming a nice little monster. It made the lateral branches start and all that then worked with a successful main lining on which I made the only mistake of leaving a little too much stuff at the bottom that I am cleaning up little by little as I understand that it will not see much light or will not produce satisfactory flowers. The main stem that runs parallel to the ground is very beautiful to look at and is from the main lining manual. The structure created with mainfoldindg, mainlining, topping and lst vari is very pleasant, the plant is at medium internodal distance and flowers quickly so it is a plant on which I would feel like recommending these techniques that it is true that they can slow down the harvests but they give a satisfaction to the sight and an unparalleled fun in making them. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. We are still in the early flowering program that maintains the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Obviously the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation hero of the late flowering will arrive and at the same time it will be time to remove power roots and a week later the enzymes. Overall the plant yielded good dense nugs with strong smell, if your planning on running these seeds make sure you have a good germination rate so you can get at least 1 good pheno with good color on it. This strain was very resistant to deficiencies, large amount of root development and decent lateral growth. I will post nug shots after dry and trim

Licht habe ich gestern auf 70% hochgedimmt. Habe begonnen alle, außer der Amnesia, mit Hesi TNT zu füttern. Taste mich dabei langsam am die an die optimale Menge ran. Aktuell bekommt Lemon Orange die halbe empfohlene Dosis. KISS und Grapefuel Gelato bekommen etwas 20%. Bei der KISS werde ich die Dosis beim nächsten Mal noch mal erhöhen. Lemon Orange wird außerdem heute ihr erstes LST bekommen. Bei der Grapefuel Gelato gehe ich aktuell von einem Schaden durch die Hitze aus. Diese werde ich heute Abend wahrscheinlich Toppen. Die Hauptnodie wächst langsamer als manche Internodien. Die neuesten Blätter an der Hauptnodie sehen auch verkrüppelt aus und auch die der obersten Internodien. Die Blätter der unteren Internodien sehen soweit gesund aus, deshalb hoffe ich das Topping die Probleme löst.

7 Diciembre: Se cambiaron las plantas desde la carpa de vegetación(120x120) a la de floración(150x150) en dónde hay más espacio para deshumidificador, ventiladores, etc. Se sigue regando con 6.2pH y 3.0EC. Pronto se agregará una malla scrog. 10 Diciembre: ya hay claros signos de floración, se colocó una primera capa de malla scrog, el riego Generativo va como se planeó, con pequeños runoff llegando a 7EC, esperando subir hasta 10EC, con ese estrés controlado se mantienen las plantas en una altura óptima evitando que estiren mucho. Hasta el día de ayer, las plantas estaban con 5 disparos(riegos) de 200ml cada uno aproximadamente, hasta obtener runoff, hoy sin embargo, habían 2 plantas con "wilting" lo que indica drybacks excesivos, por lo que hoy se agregaron 2 disparos extra, también llamados P1, y 2 mini riegos de 100 ML en la tarde, P2, para evitar el secado excesivo y el decaimiento de las plantas, las cuales están pidiendo más nutrientes. El VPD se mantiene en 1.2~1.4.

The plant started stretching out a lot more as opposed to last week. A lot more bud sights growing. Has got a thick stem to it. Overall really happy with it, considering the starting conditions.

No veg phase, no forced speed — just letting the plant express itself naturally while guiding structure gently. From early life, our approach has been: • Leaf bending instead of topping • Minimal stress, frequent observation • No rush — letting the plant tell us when it’s ready Up until now, all work has focused on: • Building a strong, open frame • Keeping internodes exposed to light • Preparing the plant for flower without shocking it Week 6 from seed marks an important moment: 👉 The transition into flower structure, even if pistils are only just starting to show. This week is less about growth speed — and more about setting the stage. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work & Plant Training (This Week) This week we went a little harder than usual, on purpose. What We Did • Continued leaf bending, but with more intention • Light lollipopping of the lower, shaded growth • Selective defoliation (not a strip-down, not a clean shave) • Introduced plastic clamps to guide branches outward Why We Did It Leaf removal • Improves airflow inside the plant • Reduces humidity pockets • Helps light reach meaningful flower sites • Removes leaves that were blocking, not contributing Lollipopping (light) • Cleans up growth that would never reach the canopy • Helps the plant redirect energy upward • Makes future watering and airflow cleaner Clamps & bending • Opens the plant instead of stacking it • Creates multiple dominant tops • Avoids cutting or topping stress • Allows gradual correction instead of forcing angles We don’t see this as “defoliation” in the aggressive sense. We see it as guidance and clarification. Nothing here is done in one session or out of frustration. Everything is done slowly, plant by plant, read by feel. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (based on plant height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm As outside temperatures remain cooler, the room itself has naturally become its own heat source: • More plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added This allowed us to stabilize the environment without forcing heaters or extremes, which is exactly how we like to work. Airflow • Vortex extraction • Cross-winds with multiple fans • Constant, gentle movement across the canopy No leaf flutter chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning to 6.0+ from now on) From this point forward: 👉 All feedings will be pH 6.0 and above Why Higher pH Now? As plants enter flowering, their nutrient priorities shift. Welcome to week 6 of flower! Well not a great deal to put in this week but it’s all been about fatness and the lady’s seam to be packing on there size in there buds. One of the big buds has a nute lock out so she was flushed and then fed the rest of the lady’s are just powering on. They have really upped there nute uptake and being fed twice a week with water every second day. We have added in exit this feed today to assist them in getting even bigger dense buds. As this is our first indoor fem seed grow I’m rather happy with how it’s all turning out, there is just solid 8-9” colas forming on all the plants. The gold leaf that had nanas on it has stopped producing them and is still outside. I do look forward to smoking her as she is looking rather nice like the gals in the tent. Until next week 🤙🏻🤙🏻
