Start of week 8 of flowering, day 78 for the plant. She's healthy but the buds are slow to fill out in size, this could be the result of the heat stress she suffered. Other than that, I'm still happy with this plant.

The stretch is in full force here. This girl us getting ready to flower. She is a short wide plant. Healthy as can be, just a little white fly issue. Neem oil to the rescue.

Mendo Frost is looking very promising now and is definitely living up to her name. Bud stacking has accelerated noticeably, with multiple sites already showing excellent frost production and strong flower development. I performed a moderate defoliation this week to improve light penetration and airflow through the canopy. At this point the structure is set, the plant is healthy, and the focus shifts to letting the buds bulk up over the coming weeks.

Ginger Nut Cookies 23rd Jan 2020 Seems like I got another mutated plant to play with 😬 The top leaf which was the second set to appear is mutated and similiar to one of the Sour diesel autos Im growing which is apparently a polyploid. As you can see in the above pics I removed the weird leaf and I now have two distinct tops rather than the usual one forming. They do say two heads are better than one 😀 Anyway I gave this little ginger nut a weak mix of Superthrive and Seaweed solution plus a tiny bit of Great white Mycorrhizae powder. This will be the first documented grow of anything Ive created thru my "Fuck around experiments" I call them that because I really dont have any plans or goals as far as breeding is concerned other than learning how it is all done. When Australia finally bites the bullet and goes legal I want to have the basic skills needed to create my own seeds for my own use. Basically a strain that is well acclimatised to my environment with maximum potency , flavour and terpene profile. But most importantly for me is a strain that is a IBL and Homozygous, so that I get very similiar results every time I grow it. Aug 24: starting the sixth week of flowering and she’s looking pretty good. Trichomes are developing and the buds are thickening. So far so good. Aug 27: looking close to ready but I’m not in a hurry. Will see in a week or two how it’s progressing.
