Got the new Mars Hydro 3000 this week and we’re super excited! Transplanted to 1 gal pots

Day 77 - Look at this plant! Just look at it! The trichomes on her are simply amazing. I've never seen anything like it in my tent before. View the close up photos at high res and you can see the trichomes clearly. They're EVERYWHERE!!!! She is ridiculously sticky, and when you touch her the smell is pure grapefruit. Citrus but sour. 😍 I would love to do a lab test on this strain but geographically I cannot..... I'm estimating well over 20% THC....

I'm so excited I have a purple phenotype! I've wanted one for the past year 💜 The flowers are coming along - putting that carbon filter to use 😁 *I hope I'm not infringing on any rules about the music video. I'm very excited about a purple phenotype - I put some music on while updating my GD & this song started playing on YouTube autoplay. 🤣 I had to edit it & add it.*

The week is progressing as usual. They continue to grow, flourish, and get denser. I continue the same feeding regimen, 1 nute feeding and 2 to 3 plain water feeding before another round of nutes. 3 liters seems to be the sweet spot for them in these 10 gallons. Every 3 to 4 days.

This actually marks the first week from breaking through top soil. My ladies are taking the somewhat high temps very well, doing my best to keep it down around 79-81(Day) and (72-75) at night. They say the colors really pop at lower temps so hopefully I can work my way down even more to achieve those colors in the end. I’m using the Batch 64 Moonshine (super coco), haven’t heard a lot about, but my hydroponics shop recommended and it looks like it’s treating the ladies right. GP started to lean over on Day 4 and just couldn’t get up , so I propped her up with a twist tie and she’s doing great now 😎Anybody have a clue as to why she just slumped over in the first place? I haven’t ph my water at all but I will this next week coming up and will also be adding in some small doses of Terpinator each watering. I will be Ph (ing) my water between 6.2-6.6 this coming week and will be observing how the plants respond to the watering. Hopefully another great week is ahead filled with lots of growth. After 50 days I could finally transplant them. I'll veg them for about 1 or 2 weeks more depending on how fast they'll grow because I want to do 1 more topping to create 8 main cola's each.

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. I'm pretty much on auto pilot at this point.. im still just feeding compost extracts to keep it simple. There's a couple things I want to point out this week; I've also included a video of my cheese auto and no extra cost to the reader 😅🤣 PROCESS/ENVIRONMENT CHANGES - I've lowered the temp inside my tent a little bit to help keep my VFD between a good range for flower (1.0 - 1.5). I also changed the RH on my humidity controller when the temperature goes down after the lights go off. It's kind of a hassle but it's the only way I can stay in the range I'm looking for. - I've started to raise the pH of my water slowly... I want it to be between 6.6. And 6.8 at this point. - I've increase all my lights.. my Sf4000 is at 85% intensity and both my Ts1000s are sitting at around 75% intensity. - I've increased all my fans running. My intake is maxed out, my exhaust is on '6' and my fans inside my tent are all maxed out.. the cheese auto is drowning my entire house out hahaha its crazy. -I've cut off a whole bunch of fan leaves, larf, bottom branches and a bunch of other unwanted stuff.. I'm hoping that she thickens up fairly like some of her sister's in the tent 🤞 cutting off all the unwanted junk might help at least move more air at the bottom of the canopy.. at most it will help direct energy to other parts of the plant therefore producing a better flower. If she does fill out I'll have to support her side branches so they don't fall over. - Every day I rotate the plants in my tent so that the get to experience the light in different ways. Overall very happy with this plant grow. She was by far the hungriest of the four plants in this grow, but she still developed nicely, loads of sticky sweet smelling buds. Will update in 2 weeks, after the first smoke. Update! Smoked the first buds from this harvest, the smoke was smooth, light berry/fruit taste, it will get stronger as they cure in their jars. Overall, I am happy with the plant, the bud product and quality. She's not a super heavy indica, but she can still pack a punch!

Frosty...the stretch came to a halt thankfully. I've got a few top buds that show some bleaching from being so close to my lights. The buds, fan leaves and sugar leaves are looking very frosty and feel super sticky. The humidity finally became uncontrollable with just the dehumidifier and I kicked on the 8,000btu air conditioner. I was going to start to bring the temps down anyway so timing was great as spring sets upon the midwest United States.

Day 62: time to flush! Flushed her with canna flush once so now for 5-7 days I will just give her plain water with ph- She looks so nice! But way to much nitrogen in her This is the light that I’m using for this grow! Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output.
