So first smoke after 7 days of drying and minimal curing has resulted in a very pleasant taste and effect. Smoke after 21 days of cure is superb, and with quite the bag appeal. The high is right where I wanted it, couchlocky and heavy indica. Taste is diesel and earthy, with hint of berries.
Certainly a night time smoke. One of the plants was either a mislabel or a very special pheno. It has given off some deep purple and comes with a pungent stench. Will keep this stuff curing till late next year, and pull it out for special occasions.

Really liked this product. Have always used PK boosters in the past, but this one came highly recommended by the retailer. Great results, but when used onits own without a regular feed, the plants burnt very easily, even at half the recommended dosage. Will continue to use this on future grows. Rock hard nugs
Cant say enough about this product. Its my go-to and has been for years. Amazing mix of macros and micros, and the addition of molasses throughout the life cycle gives your grow space a pleasant, sugary smell. Indoor or outdoors, hydro or not , this one part feed is the best value for nutrients in my opinion. Exceptional results once again, MegaCrop. 10/10 would recommend
Hard to tell if it has any benefits over other brands, but it certainly didnt leave me with any deficiencies or burns. Will keep using this product in the future
I was extremely happy with this grow. I was aiming for 1 lbs and I achieved 1.43 lbs total. The strain is a simple grow for anyone that can keep the environment on point. They are susceptible to pests, so a bit of previous experience in treating bugs is a plus. There seems to be either a rogue strain or a very special pheno within my garden. One plant showed a deep purple color starting in week 5 of flower. It grew out to some stanky and solid golf ball sized colas. Im keeping this stuff separate for the cure, as it is exotic looking and smokes like a dream.
The Scroggernaut performed well. I was initially concerned that I would have issues trying to grow a scrog next to a free form. However, keeping diligent on the LST/HST right through midway flower made sure that the canopies were fairly level, and no ladies went missing valuable lumens, and none got light burnt. All in all, the Scroggernaut worked well and allowed me the flexibility of moving unscrogged plants, and with the extra space, made for easy watering of the scrogged plants.
Harvest results:
Plant 1 = 246g wet, dried to 64g
Plant 2 = 345g wet dried to 103g
Plant 3 = 338 g wet dried to 93g
Plant 4 = 256g wet dried to 64g
Plant 5 = 248g wet dried to 63g
Plant 6 = 240g wet dried to 75g
Plant 7 = 330g wet dried to 91g
Plant 8 = 302g wet dried to 88g
Improvements for next round include:
1) Increasing grow room size
2) Will raise the height of the scrog by 6 inches or so to help with comfort during watering
3) Will likely run Hempy buckets next to soiless mix and compare the growth rates
4) Will grow 1 extra week in veg
I want to thank the GrowDiaries community, and especially the creators of the site for allowing me to share my grow with the world. It has been very fulfilling to track my progress, receive feedback from others, and have a resource for solutions to problems that I have never encountered before. ๐ Thank you as well to my Grower network who have provided some laughs and some interesting chat . Big ups! See you next year
Please see the 2 photos marked in the diary. Is this a classic PK burn? Did a feed with no MegaCrop, no cal-mag, just PK boost at diluted dosage. The coppering and yellowing has come sudden. Leaves are crispy where burnt. I hear its easy to burn with PK boost. Did I do that?
Looks like your very close to harvest. Typically growers will taper off their nutrients during the last couple of weeks then start a flush out of habit. The reason for this is plants tend to slow down or almost stop feeding during the last few weeks of the ripening stage. It looks like it could be PK burn do to this fact. A good way to check is to do a flush on the pots and see what the initial run off ppms are that first come out of the pot. if you have some crazy high ppms this may have been the issue. Another possibility is also light burn I notice in your photo that these plants are pretty much directly under the center of a 1000 watt light at 16". Hid lights emit infra red light so it can heat up the leaf surface. So I would perform a pre harvest flush and cut off all nutrients on them and back off your light. https://www.blackdogled.com/lst
I would wet trim those buds and cut off any discolored sugar leaves they will clean up nicely. Hope this helps๐
Epic start to the diary, I am all about a good story. I like the little grow space too.
I would throw my hat in the ring and support your thought of Barneyโs Farms. Iโm liking what Iโve experienced so far.
excellent + underated diary right here ! "The Scroggernaut - Either you're scrogging our you're not." well, looks like you're scrogging then ! great work so looks picture perfect
