Plants leaves are out of control. Had to do an early pruning to open up plant a bit. Probably could’ve done more but dont wanna stress them out too much. Raised light a bit to encourage a bit of stretching. Irrigation working great but overwatered plants again testing it. Did some lst to open up plants and get branches above those giant leaves.

Pictures are taken at the end of the week. Did not add KMPS for 2 days in the end, will begin again next week. Added Universol Yellow (High P) and Calcinit 1:1 to increase EC and root growth, no ml values, used the fertilizer to reach stated EC values. Roots are now clearly visible, turned of the sprayers for photos. Changed light hanging height to 50cm and intensity to 50% midweek. Turned off the exhaust at night to increase RH and Temp, at this stage this is great, later not so much. The Plant is kinda slow growing on top but roots are doing good she will probably accelerate top growths soon. Values are average of the day. Mar 5 Watered fully for the first time last Friday. The plant is feeling light again today, Tuesday, so I'm going to water less than a gallon. I'm starting to LST to try and keep an even canopy. Looking good so far.

Week 8 doing well I think. Doubled up the bloom feed. Temperature has been lower but nothing horrible for the ladies.

Nearing the finish line! OMG these ladies are blowing me away 😳 the Tricomes are carpeted, the buds are fat and dense. I’ve been. Tapering off all the nutrients and feeding ph’d water until I get 10-15% runoff from the pot to help break up the pockets left behind and to use up what’s left in the plant. Have some very distinct phenos, all of them are stellar but there are a few standouts… won’t be much longer 🇨🇦👊❤️

The buds are becoming massive and very dense. I have a lot of clear and milky trichromes at the moment I give it another week or two and I’ll be chopping her down. Praying for two or more oz.

Tentei fazer um scrog na última semana mas a planta estava pedindo mais espaço pra crescer, então trouxe ela pro meio do grow e deixei todo esse ambiente para ela, ela continua muito forte e sem nenhum sinal de estresse. Não colocava muita fé nessa strain mas confesso que já sonho com uma grande colheita!

Day 35-42 (June 4th - June 11th) (Day 36) After it stops raining I’m going to amend some 2 gallon pots and get some of these clones planted. Tuna recovered nicely from topping. The wind keeps impaling the slurricane leaves on the mini garden stakes. If everything goes to plan, I will be transplanting all the slurricanes and tunas into 5 gallon fabric pots on the 21st. If they recover nicely I will flip them on the 30th. (Day 37) It’s looking like I fucked these autos up pretty bad with the hot soil mix and low night temps. It was a dumb idea to sow directly into amended soil. I guess I’ll just leave them and see if they can push through the nutes. The 4 meatbreaths I’m going to transplant into 3 gallon smart pots in a few days. They won’t be transplanted into their final containers until the 10th of next month. (Day 39) God I wish this rain would fuck off soon. I want to get some of these clones transplanted but can’t in the rain. Forecast says sun for the next few days then more goddamn rain. None of these plants are liking these low night temps. It’s currently 6 degrees (42f) which is guaranteed stunting. Zone 3 problems..... I honestly should have waited a little bit before planting the autos too. (Day 41) Weather finally let up. Got all of these clones and meatbreath’s in their new homes and looking happy. (Day 42) The gelato 33 autos are definitely doing better than all the rest for some reason. Grapefruit, Dr seedsman and exodus cheese haven’t even pushed their second set of leaves yet. Their containers are definitely too hot for seedlings but I will just leave them and hope they recover. Maybe the gelatos are just heavier feeders. Next year I’m going to establish the autos in coco before I put them outside. Or just start them outside in coco and transplant.

Day 1 - 03/31/2022 Hello, World! 34th Street AK-47 Autoflower from OCS.ca germinated in 1 day after placing seeds in the freezer over night before planting. This was my 3rd attempt and the freezing method seemed to have done the trick! Sprouted on day 4. I placed the seed in the Aerogarden sponge pod and didn’t press it down too much. When the tap root started, it had nothing to grip onto, so I solved this by cutting a small portion of another sponge and placed it above the seed securing it in place with a loose “lid” on top so the sprout could easily push through. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 3 - 04/02/2022 Hygrometer is in. Was drier than a popcorns fart in the closet so I got the humidifier going and it’s looking good. Went from 22% to 38% humidity in ~1 hour. pH, water temp and EC/PPM all seemed high so I added ~0.5 mL of pH Down that brought the levels to 5.4 (too low). I added ~2 cups of Brita filtered water (water was getting low anyway) before I went to bed from the fridge that helped raise the pH, lower the EC/PPM, and the temp by a few degrees as well. In an attempt to cool the water down a bit over night, I took the “cap” off of the Aerogarden reservoir to let the water ‘breath’ while the light was off between 2 am and 6 am – that did not work... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 4 - 04/03/2022 Water temp remains high at around 28 c. I replaced about 1/3 of the tank with new water and added ~1ml of Miracle Grow. Might pick up some Root inoculate of sorts or at least some preventative root rot formula – better safe than sorry. I’ll have to start seriously taking care of the water temp as well. Having it always around the 30 degree mark is not good. On a side note, I inadvertently found a great way to bump up humidity and air temp quickly: add boiling/hot water to the humidifier. My humidifier ran out of water over night while I was asleep. At 6:30 am I was lucky enough to notice since the humidifier rattles when empty. Humidity was down to 38% at that point. I went back to bed, woke up at 8:30 and it was down to 28%. As luck would have it, there was some left over boiling water on the stove in a kettle and I needed something easy to pour with. I checked back 30 minutes later and the air humidity/temp was up to 60% / 30 C respectively. I had to add another 5 cups of water/nutrients to get the water volume right. I added a bit of NutriGrow only in the last 5 cups with ~1mL of pH down (didn’t measure; kept applying in small doses until pH was around 6). I've been feeding really heavy since my last post.. roughly 1200 ppm (2.4 EC). This is just to keep up with my C02 dosage. I've also been turning up my lights every other day trying to get as much light exposure as possible. Already giving off some awesome colours and odours. Trichome development has started too. I will be watering in some beneficial enzymes at the end of this week. I'm going to keep taking off large fan leaves whenever possible. I added a scrog net for the two plants in the back of the tent. They seem to be the largest and will definitely need the support going into late flower. Add me on IG for more grow updates at waterboy_519
