Blütewoche 8. Let's Go. Die 7 war unspannend. Ich habe mich mit dem Mangel abgefunden. Meiner Einschätzung nach bekomme ich diesen nicht in den Griff in diesem kleinen Topf. Also immer weiter düngen. Ein Ende ist auch noch nicht in Sicht. Buds werden dick und die Pistillen langsam braun. Die Trichome prüfe ich wöchentlich, bisher passiert da aber nichts :) Weiter geht's.

This week I added a new controller to handle up to 8 functions. I installed a new heater, my old humidifier and some LED strips to the controller. Targeting a VPD at 1.0 day and night. Trying to keep the nutrient ppm under 900 and ph at 6.0 in the reservoirs. Ordered a second ph pen because I don’t trust my readings. Will be here by Thursday. Friday: Checked the ppm in the reservoirs and it’s at 1,000. Added more RO water with extra nitrogen to bring the ppm level down to 925. Saturday: I installed an updated AC Infinity controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment) which allowed me to add a humidifier, corner LEDs and a heater to the controller. Overall I’m extremely impressed with this AC Infinity equipment. My VPD is within the range I want to achieve (.8-1.1). I programmed it to maintain 78 degrees and 67% humidity during the day, 73 degrees and 63% humidity at night. Charts posted also show the impact of an open tent compared to the closed environment. The heater is constantly pushing fresh air into the tent, so I don’t need to cycle the exhaust fan often. Rewired the tent again and moved the controller later that night. I mounted the controller on the wall. Added Mars Hydro UV/IR lighting to fill out all 8 slots on the controller. Sunday: I checked the ph in the reservoirs (6.8….i had filled it with 6.0 ph) and the ppm (1200 ppm…I had filled it with 900). So evaporation and possibly a mismeasurement of ph. I topped ff reservoirs with slightly stronger nutes and adjusted ph to 5.8 in the reservoirs. Poor magnesium absorption could be driving some leaf yellowing. Effective tomorrow, I’m switching over to Heads Formula which consistently feeds GH Flora series nutes at Micro (6ml/g), Bloom (9ml/g) and cal mag (3ml/g). Turned on the UV/IR lights for 3 minutes every 8 hours. I’m easing the plants up to 5 minutes every 6 hours which will provide the recommended 20 minutes of IR per day. This will help the plants stretch a little more. Monday: checked ph and ppm in reservoirs. 6.1ph and 880ppm. VPD remains stable except when I open the tent. Tuesday: checked ph (6.4) and ppm (880) in reservoirs. Added .5ml of ph down to two reservoirs. Still see slight yellowing between the veins but it’s not getting worse (might be improving). Adjusting ph down to 6.0 target might have solved this. The plants grew by 1-2” last night…..is the infrared light working already? Decided to mix up fresh nutes for the reservoirs following Heads formula. 6ml Micro and 9ml Bloom per gallon of RO water. Added 5 ml of CalMag too. Ending ppm was 1080 which is too high, so I diluted down to 880 with RO water. 6.0 ph. Wednesday: plants grew another .75 inches last night. I topped above the 5th node. Thursday: added RO water with heavy cal mag to reservoirs to increase amount of CalMag available.

Very insane amount of budz, its really heavy, lucky she stoped the heavy drinking the stretch has stopped complete and now the real weight will come

Slight over nuting prob. Leaf distortion. Dropped dosage and hope for best. No issue with colour. Growth is steady: she is a short stocky plant so far in comparison. Stem thick.

Learned my old ph meter was bad, got a new one and found the runoff ph at 7.6! Even with my tea at a ph of 5.4. No wonder she looks deficient in a few things. Going to add a topdress of DTE soil acidifier with a little extra sulfer added in next watering to see if I can't get her into a better range. Let's see what happens!

Really getting dank down here, it’s barely kept in check with my 4” in-line fan through charcoal filter. Plants never made it to over 12”, but they’re flowering beautifully and are suuuper frosty and fragrant. I don’t think I’ll have much in the way of quantity my first grow, but maybe I’ll make up for it with QUALITY. Lol

I think I am worrying myself more than I need too. The calicum defficiency has took over around a half of the fan leaves on 1 of the plants. I don't have much hope in a great yield from this one but fingers crossed my other 2 were caught in time. Have folder fed with a slightly more concentrated spray of cal mag and ph'd water. Whilst keeping a feed, plain ,feed schedule Unfortunately I don't currently have access to a ppm reader so can't say for sure exactly what the problem is but It seems the defficiency has slowed/stopped. Will continue to monitor.

The fifth week of the 12/12 cycle and the Pineapples aren't going great. The plant on the right side is barely showing signs of deficiency, the one next to it the most signs. The other 2 have also signs of deficiency, but less. I think the ph levels of 6.1 were a bit too low so I'm going to keep those between 6.3 – 6.5 in further grows. But there's gonna be weed because the buds are taking form and smell is kicking in good. This is what they've got this week Day 1 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.3) Day 2 → Dry Day 3 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 4 → Dry Day 5 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.3) Day 6 → Dry Day 7 → Same as day 3 The cobs are now at 45 cm with 268 watt → DLI 38.2/PPFD 884 Temperatures stayed between 21.1 – 28.4 °C ( 69.9 – 83.1 °F) and humidity levels between 47 – 70 % Till next week! Hi liebe Community! 💚 Nach der zweiten Blütewoche zeigen sich nun Flächendeckend Stigmen und die Trichombildung setzt bereits ein. Sie hat einen weiteren Stretch von knappen 8 CM hingelegt. Der Wuchs und die Blütenbildung ist sehr kräftig Außerdem habe ich nun nochmal die Sonnensegel zurückgeschnitten und die unteren Triebe auf etwas 1/3 der oberen Höhe zurück geschnitten, damit die Pflanze ihre kompaktere Wuchsform beibehält, das werde ich jetzt bis zur dritten Blütewoche so weiter betreiben. Hi ! 10 days after i switch to 12h/12h they have grown well. Trunk are massive and roots are impressive, they continue to grow, i guess they'll colonize the whole tank ^^ Plants are drinking a lot and EC is lower everyday. i have to add nutrient 2 or 3 times a week to increase EC to 1.2/1.3 again ( EC drop from 1.3/1.4 to 0.8 in 2 days ) I wonder if I had to cut some leaves to light the bud sites because there are lot of leaves ( it's a dense bush ) What do you think ? Zealix is doing good. She has shifted more into flowering and is developing her Cola sites. Everything is looking good. I will likely do a solution change on her soon for a potassium rich diet for her flowering.
