16/04/2021 (day 68): la plus grande plante a atteint le filet cette semaine mais j’ai été obligée de le retirer. Les tiges sont si épaisses et si rigides que j’arrive à peine à les plier pour les maintenir sous le filet. C’est seulement ma deuxième session et je n’ai pas assez d’expérience pour les plier sans les endommager. J’ai surélevé les plus petites pour avoir une canopée à peu près régulière et j’ai augmenté la puissance d’éclairage à 60%. Les plantes sont beaucoup plus vigoureuses que lors de ma première session et les fleurs sont beaucoup plus belles. Peut-être qu’elles apprécient plus les engrais Biobizz que les BioNova... ou peut-être que je commence à comprendre un peu mieux ce dont elles ont besoin 😀

I'm continuing with running the AirCube reservoir for 5-6 days between drain/refill, only topping off with well water and checking.adjusting the PH. The beginning nutrient strength is 800ppm, and over the course of the 5-6 days it has only been dropping approx. 150ppm's. The #3 plant has some issues with leaf tips 'clawing' and leaves 'taco-ing'. Unfortunately, with this system you're giving all the plants the same thing. If a plant in the run requires less/more nutrients, or prefers less frequent feeds/watering you're shit out of luck. That being said, the #3 looks crappy but it is what it is and we'll see how she deals with her issues. The #2 plant continues to be the stand out of the three and she's on a mission, getting frostier by the day! 11/24- Yesterday I raised the HLG 650R to it's maximum height available putting it approx. 30" above canopy. In addition, I reduced the power to 80% to see if it had any effect on the #3 plants condition. I'll give it 2-3 days to see if there is any change in her appearance, at which point I'll decide what to do with the light output. The #2 pheno is getting super frosty and is looking like a champ! The #1 plant is just starting to get her 'frost engine' going and I'm hoping she'll follow in the #2's footsteps! 11/26- Tomorrow I will once again be draining, cleaning and refilling the AirCube Reservoir with 80L of well water. After filling, I'll be adding Plagron nutrients to a 800 ppm solution strength, then will adjust the ph to 5.6-5.8 @70-71℉ . 11/28- There goes three weeks of flower for the Strawberry Gorilla's and I wish they looked better, but it is what it is. Second week of flowering and still going strong. I experienced a bit of stretching within the first week of flowering but it seems so have slowed down and the buds are finally starting to put out. 4-6 weeks left before harvesting I reckon.

This has been a fun week for this Cheese from Humboldt, it has made a mini flower on one of its fan leaves and a bee got wrecked in one of its flowers. I want to say it got stoned, but no idea if they can, the bee was super chill I could pet it and get real close with the macro lens, it did not care one bit. It could have been injured from something else like a predator or pesticide but she was gone by the following evening. Other then that nothing to new, the plant is growing nicely and I have no complaints about it. I keep comparing the smell from it to the other cheese variety from Dinafem I'm growing and they are different but I cant yet focus in on how, will be better adept at doing this once they are both in flower, I got high hopes for both plants. Added in the standard 2 week fertilizer Acti-Sol Tomato & Vegetable 4-6-8, had it fortified into the soil from the get go so did not add extra it in till now. About one month out.

Day 1 soaked seeds for 18hrs. Day 2 seeds in dirt two seeds already popped in water and they where the auto's. Day 3 just keeping them moist and warm. Day 4 Northern lights came up and Great white shark came up. Watch these seeds sometimes the shell doesn't come off and you got to help it Northern lights shell was stuck and I took a tooth pick and helped it get it off. Day 5 Acapulco gold came up still waiting on Yumboldt auto and it had a tail on it when put in dirt.. Day 6 planted another Yumboldt auto seed directly in soil the other one was bad. So this one will be 6days behind others.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Grow has been going well! Tryna grow those roots and spread out the canopy. Have been doing a lot of hard LST, even to the point where I’ve accidentally topped a few. Soil grows are looking great. Very low maintenance.

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness. I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit. I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also. Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans). I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds
