Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Esa familia, nuevo LST con misty gorilla autofloreciente, empezaremos de momento con 2/3 misty gorillas con este método de cultivo. Uno de los ejemplares me parece algo pequeño aun como para andar atando nada. Añadi BETA SHARK , quite el producto de crecimiento, y aporte el producto de floración de la gama BLACK LINE de AgroBeta. También quite el enraizante, ya que fácilmente consigo buenos cepellón es y con varias semanas de dosis son suficientes. Ph controlado en 5.8 humedad entorno al 45%, la temperatura no sube nunca a los 27 grados , se queda siempre en 26 poco. Se las ve con buen color , un tallo bastante manejable, fueron atados entre 2 y 3 nudos por planta con alambre forrado. Espero que os gusten las fotos e imágenes ya que gracias a Zambezaseeds, marshydro y AgroBeta es posible este cultivo, un saludo fumetillas 💨💨💨💨.

I’m using Mother Earth coco coir/perlite mix with hydroton at bottom of pot

21.8. Watermelon Zkittlez have nice small fresh buds full of pistils! It have strong sweet smell. It reminds me strawberry. Zkittlez is ready to harvest I see some amber trichomes, she smells strong like fresh tropical fruits. Guava x Gelato is ready to harvest too. She smell sweet and very pine. I see more amber trichomes.

Well, This week wasn't so great. Turns out that when the cat got into the Euphoria patch she snapped some stems. They were still being supported by the surrounding soil so I didn't notice it right away, as I didn't want to investigate too thoroughly and risk causing more harm to the delicate seedlings. When they began to droop in the next few days I knew. I suppose if I hadn't stressed them so much they may have recovered. But at the same time, It's survival of the fittest here. I'm an outdoor grower, and to be brutally honest I don't have the time to be fawning over every finicky seedling. I need strong plants, and none of the other seedlings were stressed out by the overfeeding. There's a part of me that feels like it wasn't meant to be. I said a few nice words before they went into the compost. So I'm down to one, and you know what? That's ok! This is why I got a 3 pack, in case something happened, and you know what? It did. I'd feel like a real dumb@$$ if I'd only ordered 1 seed. $h!t happens, your brain fog messes up the dilution ratio on the fertilizer and your nosy cat acts like a twat. It's life. And I still have other plants. So, this remaining seedling didn't get any nutes this week, just a flush when she aired out a bit more and then re-potted in Coast of Maine Bar Harbor blend potting soil. I color coordinated pots and strains so Euphoria got the bright yellow. We had a couple cold, drizzly days when they stayed inside under the lights and on the heatmat which Ive set down to 70F. Will probably get pinched next week.

I love my west Coast OG from fastbuds.. The smell is crazy and after I touched a bud I couldn't believe the smell and the stickyness... Wow.. Aug 10 I just flushed today.. might have been feeding her to much last week and my leaves started to get brown spots... Buds are getting thicker and they're very hard now.. Think I have 2 or 3 weeks left... Been under the mars hydro sp150 and it's really doing it's job... Update... After flush looks like pH is a bit high I guess but not crazy high

I am starting to think swedes got mixed up, development on 2 plants looks much more than the others. They look like I should start flushing soon. The others, not even close. I think the big pot (4ft wide by 1 ft high) doesnt dry out quick enough. It was great in the cold weather, the soil stayed hot compared to regular smart pots, but I wont use this style pot (other than this one) again.

Que hay familia, volvemos con las crazy cookies, que variedad más locura no veas que puntones se han formado , variedad algo lenta en cuanto a floración pero valdrá la pena . Ph controlado temperatura también dentro de los parámetros , humedad baja, menos de 45%. Pronto aportamos overdrive y veremos cómo terminan de hinchar.

We are in week 6 of bloom on a 7 to 8 week flowering time! I am LOVE LOVEING this strain! Within this last week its gotten a Bit hotter later in May! We sare doping grereat tho, She is showing some signs of heat stress in my eyes causde of the burnt tips, I dont think nutrients caused this cause I have not been giving here many nutrients, the top feed and one tiime I gave her some Tastey Terpenes from advanced nutrients. This living soil has been amaazing I honestly dont think I needed to give the plant the Nirvana, I do think it helped. I am light watering with irrated ph balanced for the next few days, might gvive her some sugars molasses yummm. much love looooking to harvest soon, This strain is blowinig my mind, so is this soil. With everything I put into the soil and learning how to build a soil has beeen a journey and im on it! Hoping this plant swells up some in the next weeek put some weight on, now that all the pistols are brown ill check thrichomes soon!!
