The girls look to be finishing the vegetative growth phase this week and are starting to switch full steam ahead into flower production ☺️☺️ Trichomes are also starting to form now and the smell is getting slightly stronger each day. Not much to be done this week just some defoliation and training to help open up the canopy’s. Peace ✌️

Day 15 I added a second trellis netting for scrogging purposes but mildly mostly it was for support as the buds start to thicken up. It looks like things are coming along very well no deficiencies no pests and everything looks relatively healthy. I'm still toying around with the idea of having a continuous drip of water into the pot so that never dries out I'll just have to tweak it when I decide to go that way cuz that are not over-watering and causing root rot

Hi people :-) This week everyone has developed very nicely and is slowly coming to an end 🤗🌱🍀. The Orange Sherbert was placed in the darkroom yesterday and will be harvested tomorrow :-). Everyone else will continue to be flushed. Blue Gelato # 41, Her Majesty F1 and Sour Diesel will be harvested next week. The next week is the gelato letzt. Then I will gradually add all the harvest pictures 😍👍 I wish you all a good start into the week, let it grow 🌱🍀 and stay healthy 🙏🏻

Two seeds germinated proper, the third seems to be a little slower. It's my first Grow for more then twelve Years. First Time with Autoflowers, first Time with feminized Seeds. Easy work, so far. 😃 T5 Light with 2 Tubes. Third seed germinated at Friday. Third seedling looks insane, i will seed one Taison next Week. The other look very good, I change the Light to 3500 K LED @50W / Plant First Week in Soil, Plants look good.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Lasse nur eins von 3 erstmal keimen...also muss 100% Keimrate sitzen🤭...keine Selektion etc...und vor Allem ohne dieses Hopfenzeugs🤭 Kommen aber später sicher nicht in Living soil...obwohl ich Flo sympathisch finde, weiß ich mittlerweile, dass es einfach nur ein riesen Markt ist, mit dem man gut Geld verdienen kann. Mann muss lediglich den Gärtnern gut ins Gewissen reden und mit vielen Fachausdrucken wie "Bodennahrungsnetzwerk" etc. gut umgehen...aber es funktioniert. Wurde übrigens alles bei den Amerikanern abgekuckt...wie fast alles andere auch. Dort natürlich alles viel größer wie es z.B. Sehr gleichmäßige Bud-Bildung an allen Trieben, aufgrund der gleichen Höhe. Mindestens genauso frostig wie die Schwestern im Zelt. Man kann einen Erdbeer-Terp erahnen, aber ganz deuten kann ich es noch nicht.

Week 1 bloom Everything stretched a lot this week. I’m not sure why. My lights are powerful I’m feeding by the green planet chart. So lots of nutes. Hopefully they slow down or I’m going to run out of room. At the end of this week I did another lollipop and small defoliation. The canopy was super dense. If you got this far hit the like button and give me some validation lol.

The plants stopped growing in height and are now in FULL FLOWERING mode. Every day more and more flower clusters appear and start to build colas at the sidebranches now. The trichome production is also in full swing, the plants get stickier every day and smell DELICIOUS. The Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have a sweet sandelwood-smell like the AK-47 but also with peach undertones from the Barbara Bud in it. I LOVE THE AROMA!

First of all a massive thanks to the guys at Ripper Seeds, and also GD for giving me these beans after placing top 10 in the Jan 18 Diary of the Month Comp ✌️👊 and thank you to all you guys that like/follow and comment each week, you all know it's always appreciated. When I run this girl again I'll be letting her grow bigger and thicker in structure before going into flower. She still turned out great, but with another week in the veg tent I know she would have yielded more, and would have stretched a bit more. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺

Hello Diary. We have reached the 9th week, 6 weeks of flowering and I think we are nearing the end. My estimate is another week until harvest. I look the situation with trichomes every day, most of them are milky, when I notice that some brown ones appear here and there, it is time to harvest. Along with Sherbet Queen on the “Farm” are two Mimosa Auto, which have grown huge, over 110cm so it’s pretty crowded in the grow-box. That's why it became quite difficult for me to take them out of the grow box so as not to damage them. The color of the leaves slightly takes on a lighter green color which slowly becomes yellowish, the flowers are nicely filled, they are big and heavy so I had to connect the plant a bit to the stick and fabric pot to stabilize it and prevent the branches from cracking. The temperature was high this week, around 30 degrees, and this is caused by the great heat outside which was above average this week. Humidity is a little above 50%, which is more than would be ideal, the cause is also heat, so the soil evaporates more and releases moisture. I have two fans that blow for 24 hours and thus prevent the potential occurrence of mold or similar problems. Ventilation also works at maximum power. Watering is still every two days, and more or less that’s all that happened this week, I’m patiently waiting for the harvest. Here is a brief overview of the week. 11/07/2021 - Day 57. Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, p.H I adjusted to 6.4 and watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 50% humidity. 13/07/2021 - Day 59. Watering. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 55% humidity. 15/07/2021 - Day 61. Watering. p.H - 6.2 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 53% humidity. 17/07/2021 - Day 63. Watering and photography. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 60% humidity. That’s it for this week, a little more and there will be a harvest, I can’t wait for next week. Until then, enjoy.

My poor girls... the calcium toxitity got worse before it got better. Even after the flush, the problem continued for a few more days so the leaves are worse for wear. I'm so upset about this. Ughh. I've had issues with every grow when it came to flowering. Unsure why. Last time I had pH issues, this time a calcium toxicity that causes a lock out of I believe at least phosphorus. They are on the mend now even though the damage has been done to the leaves. Their buds have already fattened so much more since the actual flush last week. The leaves are just terrible though. At this point I'm just hoping to come out with an ok enough yield so that this whole thing won't have been a waste. I learned a lesson with this grow... the water here for this grow is higher in calcium than the city we lived in with my first 2 grows. Next grow, using calmag VERY sparingly. Hopefully my 4th go will finally be the charm. 😖😕😖😩😫😭😭😭 8/25/22: Well the girls have recovered pretty well. No more lockout or leaves shriveling. The buds are getting fatter and we've got some cloudy trichomes already but they still need another 2 or 3 weeks after being as sick as they were. Both the Granddaddy purps are have some purple coming through... excited about that. I also noticed that the stems on all 3 plants that were super dark red before the flush is now are lightening up. It's pretty amazing how these plants quickly recover. 😍

Están espectaculares todos los frutos, tanto de esta variedad como las otras, muy muy pretos como rocas, delicioso aroma y muy grandes, han crecido una exageración en una semana, se nota que comieron bien, no hay queja de mi parte hacia este cultivo, este riego con nutrientes será el último, el próximo ya es de limpieza de raíces y lo de más ya sabemos...😉 En el próximo cultivo se vienen cosas nuevas... This week they came out of the nursery and started to absorb light from their leaves instead of water. Growth is slower with the Northern Lights vs. the Cookies Gelato. “Cookie” is a monster so I will name it “Cookie Monster”, and The Northern Lights is called “Noel” because she will be ready around Christmas… When I was young we used to get “Christmas Buds” around the second half of December, which was Original Northern Lights. It’s a childhood dream of mine to grow Northern Lights, so I’m so excited for her to grow up big and strong.😛

Cosechas asombrosas con XpertNutrients, el clima no ha ayudado pero ya tengo algo de hierba para fumar. Gran calidad,tiene un aroma muy potente a gasolina y fresas. Estoy deseando darle una calada, mas tarde actualizaré las notas de humo.
