Day 42. General Hydroponics maxigro every other watering. Frosting up nicely.

They all needed me to do surgery to get the shells off let's hope they grow. I got these as a bonus when I bought a pack like a year ago so there kinda old and I opened the package when i got them so humidity prob git to then little over time with an open package. I'm not sure what to expect from these but lit has failed to have anything other than a1 plants so

Notes for flower week 9 (12/15-12/21, days 56 to 62) Watering Days. All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio, or combination, of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates. These are/will be DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added-in larger, then smaller, ratios while the "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 3. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5. Day 128/58 (last feed was day 124/54) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of de-chlorinated tap (starting with 251ppm) mixed with 402ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am still using 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.0 (7.13 last feed). I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I am making a new feeding standard for all my plants) I got ~20 cups of runoff (~27 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase as well as previous knitting needle aeration. Runoff was tested at 6.15ph and 1800ppm (6.21ph and 2100ppm last feed). Top soil tested at 6.4,6.48,6.39,6.42 for an avg of 6.42 (6.42 avg after last feed)- next feed will be 6.8 to 7.0 ph as I'm still liking where the ph is finally at. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit Next Feed should be 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water ph balanced to 6.8 in +4 days (132/62). I expect I will run 400ppm and 2.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) again, but no more HP2. I expect to start flushing her out with lower nute levels from that next feed point. Day 132/62 (last feed was day 128/58) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of de-chlorinated tap (starting with 277ppm) mixed with 397ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am still using 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.8 (7.0 last feed). I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. I got ~17 cups of runoff (~20 cups last feed). Runoff was tested at 6.0ph and 1710ppm (6.15ph and 1800ppm last feed). Top soil tested at 6.42,6.45,6.34,6.33 for an avg of 6.385 (6.42 avg after last feed)- next feed will be 6.8 to 7.0 ph as I'm still liking where the ph is finally at. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit Next Feed should be 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water ph balanced to 6.8 in +4 days (136/66). I expect I will run 400ppm and 2.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) again. Im flushing with these lower ppm feeds through harvest.

Température 14-28 degré stretching de 5 cm cette semaine mais sa doit être la fin ! La Flo commence bien malgré ce manque de soleil! Jolie buisson!

Week 15 Day 99 (20/11/2020): Unfortunately did not have time today to take pictures or check them because have been quite busy. Day 100 (21/11/2020): Woow day 100 today, which seems a bit crazy but I think the girls just need another month and they will be ready for harvest. It has been a great grow so far and although 100 days seems like a lot, the girls have definitely come really far. I did notice that the leaves on the top of both of the girls are getting a bit more yellow and less of that deep green colour. After searching what could be the cause for the top leaves turning yellow, it seems that it is because they are too close to the lamp. They have grown super tall so the lamp is currently at its highest so unfortunately there is nothing we can do but hopefully it won’t affect them too negatively. Day 101 (22/11/2020)💧: Measured the pH of the girls today before watering and RHC1 was at 5.76 and RHC2 was at 5.92 which means it needs to be increased slightly. I wonder why it keeps dropping because apparently the BioBizz soil is supposed to maintain the pH pretty well but I guess these are big girls and they must be taking in more nutrients. So I watered them with the usual 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of TopMax. And on top of that I gave RHC1 0.75ml of pH+ to increase the pH by 0.5 points and gave RHC2 0.5ml of pH+ to increase it by roughly 0.3 points which should take them both to 6.2. The buds are definitely fattening up more and the trichomes are looking like lovely purple snow on the buds! Day 102 (23/11/2020): Not that many updates today, but they are doing well after the watering and some of the flowers at the very bottom that always kind of wilt on the day of watering are back up again. I should have thought of cutting them off before maybe... Day 103 (24/11/2020): Girls are looking beautiful, managed to get a close-up picture that shows how red the buds are quite well. I really need to look for my loupe because I want to see those trichomes closer up and see if it’s the trichomes or the actual buds that are red. The buds of the two girls do look quite different from each other though, definitely easy to tell them apart. Day 104 (25/11/2020)💧: Today I watered the girls with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom and 1.5ml of TopMax . The lower leaves and buds of girl #1 are definitely not strong enough to hold themselves up just before the watering. I think also because the buds are taking up the most nutrients and towards the end of the 2 days it is not enough for the lower stems. So not sure what to do about these but I guess I can cut them off if they do not recover tomorrow. Day 105 (26/11/2020): Took some lovely videos of the girls today 😍 they are growing so big they should be ready in just a few more weeks I think.

Good week overall, The plants are levelling out and getting extra green with the transplant, no more die back :D Still no word from Gaia Green so I think they just don't care after getting bought out. similar to GHE and scotts miracle grow big brands are taking up smaller independent companies to get every aspect of the market then cheapening the product slowly over time. I have topped them again and waiting for the new shoots to grow in, I have also removed the lower branches and put them into vials to clone out. Will see how they do and if I want to grow them outdoor this year or give em away. I will be looking for a new home for the 4th plant that survived in the smaller container. But it won't be ready for another few months till the weather improves for outdoors or anytime right now if I know a buddy wants a plant in my area. I also topped my peppers in hopes it will bush them out a lot and get a solid plant. Holy basil is also fine, I feel I am going to need to give it some more food in a bit they will be approaching nutrient depletion soon. The extras I put in the water this week are the same as any other, fulvic acid, potassium silicate, yucca extract, a bacteria pro bio soil product "NOT LABS" and PH adjusters. Trying out critic, ascorbic and malic acids powders as a alternate to phosphoric acid liquid. If it works its an option for PH down and one I can buy in bulk almost anywhere. 85% phosphoric is hard to source unless you got a grow shop close by. I was also reading that critic has a strong affinity for dissolving calcium and might work better on it vs phosphoric and dies out faster. but this needs more looking into before anything concrete is devised. O I also made some Brownie Cookies, they turned out well. Chewy on the inside and crunch on the outside. I infused them with 15.5G of flower and a quick butter bath only simmering for 30min, 7g CBG ZeroDue from SeedStockers + 7g Dnamed Kush CBD Auto from Dinafem + 1.5g Strawberry Cola Auto from Exotic Seeds. Strained out all the weed and used the butter in the cookies. I would make them again, all cookies got flaked salt as a garnish, They are very light and I can eat a few of them and still be ok, This is what I want, great with reducing inflammation and relaxing the body. If I want a more THC high I'll eat more of them or take a separate THC edible. They seem to be coming along fine, no real PH issues despite reusing old Promix, more low stress training :) ... I may flip in another week or 2..

LST is going very nice and #2 has taken the topping well. As you can see, the auto flowers aren’t the only plants I have. I have a strawberry cough that will be flowering soon, meaning that the strawberry pie and GSC will be finished under 12 hours of light.

12/7 Week five and in full flower. Runoff was way high 1400-1700 ppm this accounts for the tiny white tips on new growth. Increased amount to 0.5 gal once a day but may have o go back to twice a day. Still on half/grow half/bloom until the stretch plays out still trying to hit 700ppm of feed without runoff exceeding upper limits so feed alone is running 600ppm to counter the hard water. Once I have a handle on the runoff will up nuets. After some thought and a bit of reading I decided to do this as a root drench and fertilized flush to remove all salts from the pot. 0.5 gal 5.7PH CT Grow AB / Kangaroots /Fish Sh!t with @50% runoff - 950ppm (unadjusted 750ppm adjusted) in / and 1020ppm out. Hey guys and gals. Busy week in the tent!! Set up some more lights to help with flowering. Defoliated the girls again, it’s going to be an I’m going process. Ran into some fungus gnats, so that’s fun. Mixed up a peroxide water solution and set up some sticky traps. If anyone has any other solutions I’m all ears Other then that the tent is packed, they have been switched to more of a bloom feeding schedule and laying off the nitrogen for flower. The training done early in the plants life is really starting to show it’s benefits. Lots of work but totally worth it. Well until next week. Happy growing

01/26/2021 Last week of flower, will get chopped to dry on day 63. I liked my soil grown clone I took at 50 days, high was good and long legs 3-4 hours. I am looking forward to seeing how much different she can get at 63 day harvest, for better or worse we will know soon! Fingers crossed🙏 All but 1st picture are under 1000 w metal halide for better pictures she is sparkling like crazy! And smell! Intoxicating, sweet Ps.will be harvesting Sunday morning, I will defoliate to show her off some,(more pics). I like to wet trim with, the exception of single finger leaves around buds I believe it protects the buds until your ready to smoke, or vape.

Day 58, 11th of November 2020: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so they receive 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when they will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week.... Wao. Well, all good hopefully they will stop growing soon but the strech is not that much thanks for the trainings such as topping and LST.... Pistils are started appearing so they she the sex I think one more week to go and they will settle down concentrating on bud development. What to say every 2nd day is fertilization with the mix and ratio above now we are waiting. Anything else? Well just look atbthe pictures and decide what you think. I am pretty sure they look cool LOL. This Gleato Zamnesia is very promising I really like the smell already she is nice but all of them I mean I am in love with all so. Kalinia Asia is nice and I am so excited for the Sweed Seeds ones the red girls OMG :)
