Growbody Welcome to my new grow with the Tangerine Dream Auto from Zamnesia Seeds. The name already sounds like music 😜 You can find the URL to the strain here: https://www.zamnesia.com/de/10967-zamnesia-seeds-tangerine-dream-automatic.html This time there's something new again: For the first time, I'm using the new 7th generation Air Pots with a capacity of 20 liters. As a base, I'm using a saucer with expanded clay of grain size 4/8mm, which allows the pot to be better aligned than with the coarser grain. I've equipped the blue bottom of the pot with a double layer of insect mesh, so the good soil doesn't fall out too quickly. That brings us to the second point of news. This time I'm using the organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde. The prospect of growing my plants in Living Soil without the hassle of fertilizing makes me curious. I also really like the idea of being able to reuse the soil multiple times. For mulching, I've planned to use the organic fiber from Sonnenerde. Day 0: The organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde doesn't need to be prepared, so you can start planting the seeds right away. I first prepared the Smart Start Plug from Zamnesia: I completely pierced the hole with a small screwdriver, then enlarged the hole at the top, watered it with the Seedbooster Plus according to the instructions, punched out the hole with the plastic part, and placed the Tangerine Dream Auto seed horizontally with the tip towards the hole in the Smart Start Plug. This time, the seed is not covered with a plastic box, so there's no artificial increase in humidity. Day 4: Very nice, the seedling has already shed its seed coat. Day 5: The first true leaves are already visible. Day 6: Looks a bit cramped. Glad you checked out my grow report of the Tangerine Dream Auto. Come back again 😎✋

I also really like the idea of being able to reuse the soil multiple times. For mulching, I've planned to use the organic fiber from Sonnenerde. Day 14: The second pair of leaves is visibly struggling. Day 15: Somehow it seems like only one leaf is developing. She's getting a neem oil shower; I've had something similar before, just not as intense, and neem helped wonderfully. That led to the happy ending of one of my record strains... Day 17: SF nematodes can't hurt. Day 19: She's lagging far behind the others; by week 4, I'll decide whether to continue with her. Day 21: The decision came earlier than expected. My love wants the baby to be well taken care of, so she will continue to be nurtured and cared for. 🌱❤️😎 Glad you checked out my grow report for the Tangerine Dream Auto. Day 35: The fresh leaves of the Tangerine Dream Auto from Zamnesia Seeds are developing nicely, no signs of stunted growth. Day 40: The Tangerine is catching up enormously; in just 5 days, it has filled the pot, wow. I've pulled the side branches a bit out of the shadow of the large leaves. Day 41: The side branches are now nicely visible. They are very robust, some with normal two-stem growth, others with opposite growth. Week 12. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!
Rated
8/10

I unfortunately had to harvest the Tangerine Dream Automatic from Zamnesia Seeds much too early. The aphid infestation was just unstoppable. It had shown signs of something really great and would have needed at least 4 more weeks, maybe even a bit longer. Such a shame. I ended up with 90 grams of wet-trimmed buds. They're now in DryFerm Bags in the basement drying. I got 26 grams of really nice buds. They taste fine like tangerine, make you more relaxed than high, but the effect lasts a long time. I definitely need to grow it again and pay better attention. Still, absolutely recommendable!

Growbody Welcome to the end of the grow with the Tangerine Dream Auto from Zamnesia Seeds. The name already sounds like music 😜 You can find the URL to the strain here: https://www.zamnesia.com/de/10967-zamnesia-seeds-tangerine-dream-automatic.html Conclusion on the new 7th Gen Air Pots with 20 liters capacity: The root area was completely filled. Fine and very fine roots everywhere. Even though I hadn't watered for a week, the soil wasn't dry. Awesome containers. Conclusion on the organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde: Just watering without measuring nutrients is wonderful. I was honestly surprised at how well my cannabis developed in it. Now I'm curious about the prepared soil. Conclusion on the organic fiber from Sonnenerde: Great for mulching. At first, it even has a subtle smell of a cow barn, which unfortunately fades away too quickly. It keeps the soil nicely moist. And you can easily reuse it for the next grow. Day 86: The Tangerine Dream Automatic from Zamnesia Seeds could have easily grown for another 4 weeks. The only thing I couldn't stop were the aphids. Also, all the trichomes were still clear and the buds were very thin. It's heartbreaking. I'm glad you checked out my grow report of the Tangerine Dream Auto. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas 🎄 ✋🌱❤️😎

Living Soil is definitely worth a try. Basically "revamping" old soil and using it again sounds almost perfect to me.

@Webacca, So far everything is "factory new" and it surprises me already. Not a drop of fertilizer used and you can't tell. And I've never used so little water. Mulching definitely helps too.

Hey Growbuddy, I'm excited to see your grow and experience with Living Soil. I'm thinking about testing it for my first outdoor grow in 2026👍😎. I've heard it works really well with the right pot size.
Growbody
Growbody commented10mo ago
@Ramires, I have 9-liter ROOTiES fabric pots and 20 liters of both ROOTiES fabric pots and the new 7th Gen Air Pots ready to go. With the mulch layer, moisture stays retained for a long time in both pot types. The soil is also much heavier, like BioBizz All Mix. You can also start testing indoors. 👍😎
