The week was gone very well until yesterday. I happen to check on the girls when the lights came on I noticed one of my two lamps were out. A bulb burnt. It is only two months old. I bought it online and delivery on everything from this company is out over two weeks. They are closed for the pandemic. Surprisingly, a local hydroponic store where I bought my fans and air scrubbers from was open. The guy cut me a solid and $85 later I am back in business. The girls just had one night with one light. I don’t think one cloudy day will hurt them They’re budding nicely, I just pick a few leaves every now and then to get some light to specific buds.

This week has been quite eventful in terms of growth and maintenance. The plants have doubled in size, which is a great sign that they are responding well to the current conditions. The increase in light intensity and the regular feeding schedule seem to be paying off, as the plants are now much larger and healthier. I also conducted the first defoliation this week. I’m aiming to use techniques like defoliation only once a week, to give the plants enough time to recover and avoid unnecessary stress. The defoliation was carefully done to improve airflow and light penetration to the lower parts of the plants, ensuring that the energy is focused on the areas that need it most. The plants have shown resilience so far, and I’m optimistic about how they’ll bounce back after this session. I'm continuing to closely monitor all plants, especially after such significant growth, to ensure that they are responding well to the defoliation and training from last week. Looking forward to seeing how they progress over the next week as they recover and continue to grow!

Well I'll say I didn't put as much time into it as I should have but it was quite or a pretty fair grow considering it's my first time growing anything.I've learnt alot and looking forward to my second grow

It was good experience trying different test, like the Main-Lining, I never tried before, but I think It works better with photoperiod plants. But I wont do the main-lining technique in autoflower anymore and especially in 12/12H, they give me about 15gr each. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait for curing. I had fun but not much seeing how much I had per plant. Cheers

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. It was probably the hottest week of the year with a maximum of 34° C, a lot of water had to be administered, especially the Frisian Dew in the pot. On the other hand, I continue to enjoy the good appearance of the plants, with no pests, caterpillars, aphids or similar to be found so far. Even the slugs are no longer interested in the leaves, there are now so many flowers in the garden that simply taste better. As the flowering that I have read about already begins with the pre-flowering, I can say that all the plants in this report are flowering. Only the Durban Poison is by far the fastest and is already producing buds and seeds. As I had used regular seed for the Durban Poison, I fertilised it with pollen from a remaining male Durban Poison. The seed pods are already visible and look promising. The Durban Poison flowers are purple in depth, at least in my phenotype, and it doesn't need as much water as Frisian Dew and Shaman. The Shaman and Frisian Dew in the garden are showing their best side and continue to grow diligently, they need much less water than the others, probably due to roots that reach deep down. Do Durban Poison, Frisian Dew and Shaman actually have tap roots? However, I would really like all the plants to start producing flower buds now, as it is already mid-August. 2nd week of flowering Yes. It does bloom well, I did quite a bit of defoliation throughout the week even completely cutting off the lower branches. All 4 are growing wide and full of colas. I'm happy with what I'm seeing and will not pull more leaves off for the coming week. I have ordered a bottleof Power buds from Plagron and will add it to the nutrients as soon as it arrives (should be tomorrow) bless.

Yellowing on plant seems to have stopped after the increase in mg on last feed. Will continue to feed at a higher vol and fingers crossed will recover enough Happy for any advice :)

Week 11 June 2nd

Week is looking good so far. have been removing damaged leaves from the light burn experience slowly but surly.

-4/2/23 Start of Week --Week 2 -4/4/23 (Day 17) --Observations: still not having problems with daily nutrient spray, looks as if it has lost the explosive growth that it had in the first week. --Changes: lowered RH to 50%, also started spraying soil with nutrient water --Diary Entry: the HR was lowered because of other plants being in the last weeks before harvest, so it will be going back up in two weeks. the light cycle will change to 18/ 6 light/night once the other plants get harvested. the light will be lowered at the beginning of next week but the intensity will not be lowered unless problems arise. will be checking soil for PH and temperature at the end of the week, may take photo of the soil probe readings. -4/5/23 (Day 18) --Diary Entry: full watering without nutrients and sprayed with nutrients. Still working on first shade leaves, no second set yet. --Post-Note: still trying find good settings on my new Fujifilm X-H2 for the two lenses that I have, Fujifilm 16mm-80mm zoom and 30mm macro. Photos are only going to get better, also still having problems with focus stacking but that could be staking program.
