everything seems to be going well :)

Entering final week of major stretch, these plants have been a pleasure to grow so far, and my overall setup has been performing pretty flawlessly. Excited for the weeks to come, tho another longer trip away from the plants looms in the future (🎅🏻). Hopefully i can dial in a temporary auto watering system for then. Just did a light defoliation so i can leave them unmolested for the week - mainly took off leaves brushing against the forming pistils. These plants grow like weeds no doubt, branches out of branches out of branches. Temps and runoff a little high but overall a smooth start to the flowering stage i would say.

Everything is the same. 4 gal water ph to 5.8 1 tsp Kool bloom. 4 tsp maxi bloom.

So I harvested the top half of the canopy at day 58 while leaving the bottom half to finish up for another week. Looks like the best yield so far running for my runtz muffin grows. Also dropped the water temp at night to promote colouration of the buds which seems to be working very well.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

Hello. All photos from flower day 6. On flower day 3 I switched the Sanlights up to 80%. On flower day 6 I sprayed the plants with Spruzit, to prevent any kind of insects. As you can see everything is okay besides that algae but nothing too bad so far. All under control. See you next week. ✌️

week 5 flowering - No herms, strong aroma, and THC production! 🌿🌸🌱🔥 Hello, fellow growers! It's time for another thrilling update on my flourishing journey. We've officially entered week 5 of the flowering phase, and things are looking absolutely fantastic. Here's what's been happening in my grow room: The most exciting news is that I haven't encountered any hermaphroditic plants thus far. It's a relief to see the ladies staying true to their gender and focusing solely on bud development. 🚫⚡️ The aroma emanating from the grow room is simply amazing! The fragrance has become more pronounced and enticing, filling the space with the delightful scent of resinous goodness. It's a testament to the terpene profiles of these strains. 🌿👃🌸 Additionally, the THC production is in full swing! The buds are swelling and becoming denser by the day. It's truly a sight to behold, and I can't wait to see how they'll develop further as we progress through the flowering stage. 🌿🌱🌸💪 While the plants are thriving, I've noticed a slight nutrient burn on the tips of some leaves. To address this, I've decided to dial back the nutrient concentration a bit for this week. It's important to maintain a careful balance and avoid overfeeding, especially during this critical phase. 💧💚 As for the nutrient solution, the pH has remained stable at 6.33, ensuring optimal nutrient uptake by the plants. The TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level has been consistently maintained between 1150 and 1250, providing the plants with the necessary nutrient balance. ⚖️📈 With everything going so well, I'm filled with excitement for the upcoming week of flowering. Bridal rubbing sugar leafs smells like some sort of candy watermelon, blackberry neat skunky AF sugar leaf rub, pink is nice mellow I will have to check tomorrow. Dr. Thunder very oily with sugar leaf rub I swear you could deepfry with it. It also smells mellow skunky but will check again tomorrow it may have been terps overload on my fingers regarding thunder and pink paradise aromas. Pink caylaxes have shriveled and accepted pollen locations. I just don't think the seeds will be ready when harvesting in a few weeks. Start week 5 tomorrow and I don't think crosses will be ready so I will figure it out. Pink crosses would be fun next round but I have so many more selections to choose from to grow my next 4.Thunder smells like a citrus cleaner, almost pineapple front notes then a full citrus. day35 defoliated like madd. no lie so sticky: 2 fingers lifted a ceramic cup like I was spiderman. 1 finger was a struggle.. science

Helloo, planties are roughtly 3 week into vegetative growth. Into second week our cat snucked into the tent and being the motivated gardener she is, dug out quick one and speedy chille, we put them both back into place gave planties some water, and with time they recovered, speedy chille got most stress, but being photoperiod, recovered slowly aswell, still the shortest and very loved. :) so everythings good Royal kush has the strongest smell of them all, few leafs we defoliated we grind in our hard and smell a deep green canna scent. Northen lights is the leader in hight since begining When planties grew 5 tops we topped them, began doing LST and a bit of defoliation, bended stems away from the lamp and taking off leaf that blocks light reaching tops. The stems hardened and remind me now more of a tree

Grow diary 11. This grow I'm running 4 diaries, one for each strain in the tent. So my plan is instead of a week being 7 days, my weeks are most likely going to be every 10 days. I think I'm going to take pictures every 5 days so there is a mid week and end week shot. I'm germinating in my propagation tent which is secret jardin dp60. I soaked the seeds in water for 15 hours. The seeds sank so i took that as a good sign. After the seed had soaked for 15 hours I then soaked the rockwool cube for 30 mins in PH 5.8 water with 0.5ml/L hydroguard. Gave the cube a shake and let it drain for 30 mins before placing the seed pointy side down so the top of the seed is level with the cube. Covered seed with a loose bit of rockwool. Placed into propagator with the sunblaster t5 lights on constant. After 71 hours the seed popped TEMP MAX 34.2C AVG 30.1C MIN 25.8C HUMID MAX 86.3% AVG 80.3% MIN 57.2% VPD MAX 2.07 AVG 0.83 MIN 0.64 Hopefully back in 10 days.

Aug 3: woohoo week two of flowering. Plant is definitely flowering and looks to be on its way to a strong finish. Very excited for this one and it looks very promising. Group pic is Cheese in front, Gelato, Gorilla Cookies, and Bruce Banner. Last two are 16 cola manifolds, and the front two are 8 colas. Aug 5: video shows use of 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes. I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my latitude each night. Currently getting 2 minutes earlier each night. The far red light at dusk, at the same point in the light cycle each night, causes the plant to go into dark mode about two hours faster. It’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness in a 26 h day. Works indoors and on autos too. Moves up flowering by about 3-4 weeks here. Don’t miss a night and keep it at the same relative time each night. This is sometimes called phyto-forcing. Easier than moving the plants into the garage each night. Aug 6: foliar spray of potassium silicate and Extreme Blend done in early evening. Plants drink a lot when it is hot and they’re this big and have been watering twice a day lately. Aug 7: did another round of compost tea this morning. Aug 9: defoliated the understory to improve airflow and remove shaded bits. Mostly fan leaves and popcorn bud sites with a few small branches that were growing in towards the centre.
