Whew, what a hot, humid and wet week. Although we had a major storm this week, Miss Dosido continued to dance her way through it. The Royal Queen Seeds Website said "it is one of the strongest auto flowers you can grow." The website also says that an outside grow could reach heights of 140 cm which is 55 inches. We are only at 30 inches, but I will accept part of the blame because I used Miracle Grow for its nutrient--I also blame the weather. If you have followed me and read my weather reports, you will agree that hail and 100 degree temperatures are very hard to grow in. LOL. Like I said last week, I stopped using Miracle Grow and started to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice Grow. I am hoping that these nutrients will boost her bud growth even if she is a tad on the shorter side. In addition, Royal Queen Seeds website said Miss Dosido should be ready to take down in 9-10 weeks from germination. She still has some time to perform. Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (not this one). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. The Future #1 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

Its 1/13/2023 10:30 pm and The White Og has been doing good this past week. She surfaced 4 days after being planted directly into soil and has stretched out quite a bit these past days. She stands a little above 3 inches at the moment. I have her under a 40 watt led light on the 18-6 schedule for her first two weeks as a seedling. Later on I will be moving her to her permanent home inside a grow box I created under the 400 w mh.

9/20 Adjusted lights to 40% at 24 inches. It looks like I have a whorled phyllotaxy with the Sticky Mango. 3 branches per node. Should be cool to see how she develops. 9/22 Watered at 900 mS/cm 9/23 Dropped ir light on plants. Broke a fan leaf off the Moonberry Pie Auto. Removed other leaf to maintain light distribution and symmetry. Otherwise plants look great. 9/24 Added IR lighting. 10 before and after lights on and off. Hung at about 48 inches. 9/25 Topped Pink Apple Soda and Yuzu Sour above 4th node. Watered at 1.080 mS/cm pH 6.1. Watered to minimal runoff. Reduced RH to 62% 9/28 Increased lighting to 50%. Topped the Sticky Mango Auto. Was going to get to tall. The whorled phyllotaxy aspect of the plant is interesting. It is definitely growing faster than the others . It even has pistils already and a VERY dominant side branch. The plant I dropped the IR light on (Moonberry Pie Auto) definitely got stunted even though only 2 fan leaves had to be removed. The other topped plants (Yuzu Sour Auto and Pink Apple Soda Auto) look great. Starting to get bushy. Tucked the large fan leaves. Turtle Taffy Auto has been rather disappointing. If it doesn't show me something soon I may not waist the nutrients and get another Tastebudz Genetics seed going. germination: Came out strong in 2 days transplanted to 1 gallon first week

So those girls were transfered from main room, theirs veg story you'll find in Checkpoint diary by Sweet Seeds. In reality they veged for 5 weeks, beans didn't want to sprout, so planted two more. One from first two- didn't make it... Everything with them postponed a bit and i decided to try out other training method and new version/interpretation of FIMing. They got 30 hours of darkness, looked sad a bit, but just 3 hours under new sun - they are happy as f@ck again ;))) Will feed them later today with full range of BioBizz. Will update charts. Day 6. Girls loved food, no big stretch yet ... Happy Growing !!!

Welcome growfessors to the harvest of Mandarin dreams! These 5 ladies got chopped down this week, the three pheno 1 strains have nice dense buds, very sticky! One pheno 2 is very fluffy, airy buds and the other pheno 2, is someplace in between, not rock hard, but close to it. Last time I'll be growing this strain, she was easy to grow, but not a smoke I enjoy, the indica hits harder as the buds cure and I'm not that interested in couch lock. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight.

Week 9 commence flushing. This lady is looking great, super frosty, sticky and got a sweet aroma. Removed some dying leaves and now we wait for chop in about 6-7 days.

------GENERAL COMMENT------ As planed I lowered the base nutrient to 2ml, and took a break from Cal Mag, to release the N a bit, green is on point now. Tomorrow will catch up with the Cal Mag schedule as usual. Time for some overdrive, for the rest all good, girls are developing well and buds are getting bigger, no issues. Smelling delicious! Hope I had some Terpinator to give a go... ------SM.BB COMMENT------ BB is maturing faster you already can see I have cloudy Trichomes, she will be a fast finisher as it looks like...

The girls are doing well so far. Advanced nutrients in combination with the Lumatek Zeus 600W Pro 3.1 is a killer combo. Also the coco substrate is working well so far. I placed them in bigger pots today . 🌱

Week 15....day 106. She's just going to get plain pH 6.0 water for the next few days. I know she wouldn't yield a lot but this plant taught me a lot so I'm satisfied with that. I'm sure from here out you guys will see better yields and quality from me. Day 108.... nothing much has changed but some of her old leaves are getting yellow and brown. Her buds are looking better every day. Day 109... Nothing changed. Day 111.....this plant still looks healthy because my ppm was at 1000. Gave her a couple of flushes and bought it down to about 200. I'll chop her down at the end of this week. Day 112.....last day for this girl, trichomes are looking good, she's not big but I'm loving it. I trimmed most of the big leaves down, I'll chop her down tomorrow and put her in my diy dryer. Very sticky buds, my fingers were sticking together even the clippers were sticking too.
