This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our weather is beautiful now with daytime high temp's in the 80's F without a lot of rain so I am watering her daily at sundown with approximately 4-5g of well water. 6/10- I watered the Papaya Sherbet today and also did a little canopy maintenance, removing some leaves and some small shoots that would have taken energy better used elsewhere on the plant. 6/12- I gave the Papaya Sherbet photo a good watering today at sundown via the garden hose with straight well water. I am also planning on top dressing her in roughly 7-10 days from now with a blend of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and a little of their 2-8-4 along with some Wiggle Worm castings and a little Down to Earth Bio-Fish. 6/14- Another week gone and this little lady has really come along considering her late start and getting chewed on when she was young. All in all the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is shaping up to be one fine looking plant! Still outside and doing good! Added another heater and second layer of plastic because it is now snowing out. Very frosty looks good. Going to take her a little further before chopping. Doing her flush.

Trichomes are looking milky and full. Going to give one more light feeding, and then flush em towards the end of the week. G13 has some calyxes that are growing in top of existing bud... possible this one keeps growing for another week, but seems like Banana is ready to go. Is there any downside to getting one gallon sized Mason jars for curing? I've yet to have a successful dry/cure, so really hoping to dial it in this time with the proper climates.

All going extremely well. Not a single sign of any problems. Plants getting heavy and needed some staking should be ready in 7 days or so. Growroom 25.4.23 Started flush Outdoor Pineapple chunk got an aphid infection that was not there two days ago so chopped down on Friday 28.4.28. She was at the begining of harvest window and ready but wanted to hold out till indoor had finished. She’s in a 2x2 drying

Drunken Bitch Slap has been growing great. She got her roots pruned today, along with 1st node removed, and topped under 4th node. She is growing great under the Hortibloom solux 350. First of all we had quite some rainy days, which is almost impossible as in July this didn't happened for years, but of course i plant something outside and it automatically needs to rain...😡 Then some stupid worms decided to build a colony inside the plant and screwed a couple of leaves, i killed them all for being disrespectful to my plant, that will teach them a lesson... As last we celebrated the plants birthday and threw some firework around the city 🤣😝 it was a nice party, the plant is still recovering from the party For the rest all good, more and more tricomes are appearing and in around 2 weeks we are harvesting 😁👌

They all are getting close to harvest except Gorilla Glue which decided to out grow tent. Had to open vent and add light for top cola. Ugh

Was really worried the whole time through out my grow as I am a Newbie and this was my first grow. Thanks for all the help provided by users on growndiaries. Much appreciated. Had great result from my solo cup. 12.6 grams of dried bud. Time for curing and let that smell build up. Fingers crossed will taste better but smells amazing. Zesty smell when crushed. More confident for my next grow. Hopefully will be more fun and relaxing growing.

This strain has been easy to grow from the start and very quickly packed the weight on during flower, for a free seed I'm more than happy with the outcome, if you're gonna grow it give it a good 13 to 14 weeks It's quite an uplifting smoke a nice head stone

I started a new job, so detailed comments will come shortly once I get some time to fill things out. Mostly I just transplanted at week 2 for the Banana Bombs and week 1 for the Cement Shoes... Honestly the Banana Bomb were already looking kinda root bound in their solo cups by the end of 2 weeks, so the advice that the leaf length to cup diameter seems accurate as they were definitely growing out past the cups. The Cement Shoes had decent enough root development that I had no issues with the transfer, but I also may have been able to wait 3 or 4 more days. It doesn't seem to mind one bit though and if anything appeared to have the least shock and quickest recovery time. Just have been watering and keeping to the light schedule. I sprinkled some diatomaceous earth on the top of the pots on Thursday as a kind of potential preventative. I saw a flying bug go into my tent from my room and was unable to smack it, and the last thing I wanted was it getting some ideas to lay some eggs. Hopefully the two days it was on the top of the soil before I watered deterred it, if it even was a bug that would cause issue to begin with (I had no idea but taking no chances). I will introduce molasses and maybe some other botanical or compost teas in the next week or so, possibly with the addition of some malted barley top dressing. We shall see what time and money allows. I also wish to start some kind of IPM with neem, azamax, sm90, Spinosad, D-limonene, or essential oil mixes. Wanting to stick to organic control of course, so options may not include some things or others. If I can afford predatory mites or nematoads or something to toss in the soil, that might be good too. More research must be done.

Showing pistils like crazy only 7 days in. Will be switching her into the main flower tent and release her from all LST tie downs. I will defoliate if there becomes too much fan leaves covering lower potential.

Hi all . This will be the last week of these girls now . They’ve both been flushing with RO water and I will continue that a couple more days before harvest . They are certainly ready and cannot wait to have the final result dryed and tasted . The smells from these girls is unreal . They have a strong fruity smell and are sticky as hell . It’s going to be messy when harvesting !. Couple more days flushing and I’ll give them the chop and hang to dry . I’ll update with a harvest once that’s done . Florganics is a living soil starting fertiliser the earth is this time plagron light mix the lamp is at the start at 25 watts and 20cm above canopy i will start to remove water from the system by placeing a spongecloth on the waterslide i think the earth is a bit on the wet side Also want to add nutrients at some point and fresh nematodes to make sure i dont get the damn flies again i move the controller to the other side to make sure the sensor for temp and humidity is close to the plants I had to change the soil mid week as it was too hot. It was made from last year's FLO Florganics and too bad... It switched to biotabs NL And put ZK 1 and ZK 2 in the fridgegrow system. I removed ZK 3... WHATEVER FLO Florganics is actually a great product and as soon as it is available again we will use it again... There was trouble with the factory and Flo learnt a lot. Now the fertilizer gets tested in and independent lab.... END of week all looks great the plants are growing the one that had too many nutirents for a while is now ... bigger of course
