The finished harvest pictures come when everyone is finished together 👍. This ends the last diary that was kept with several varieties. Hi growmies, quick update this week nothing special to report, no news good news, see ya next week

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (Plant #1). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. Plant #1 had some heat related curling of leaves as well as some of the lower leaves showing impact of the pH fluctuations. My hope is we will be steady until harvest. Plant #2 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Late in the week, some of the leaves started turning brown from the pH issue but my hope is that with RO water only, we will be on the right track. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

Starting to see a lot of white hairs think they are getting ready for flower, extremely excited to see how these ladies do! Day 27 - Last day of week 4 everything is going great!✌️🏼🌱

Finally, 25 weeks i believe... Mold, mildew, bud rot, rain, humidity, crazy wind, frost. Somehow these girls turned out just fine and I am so proud of the end result. I am late posting, everything is pretty much all cured up and ready to smoke. Just finished making some stocking-stuffer jars for friends and family for Christmas. It was interesting to see the different phenotypes from each plant. One was named Average Girl, medium size, medium height. Then there was Big Bitch. She was the tallest and had the skinniest nugs. Next was Dolly.. She had the fattest cones of the 4.. a little shorter than Average Girl. And last was Runt... She was about 2 weeks behind her sisters and about a foot shorter, but she did not get any mold or mildew, and her buds were ginormous. I let her go an extra 2-3 weeks later than her sisters, bringing her into the garage every night at 7 pm, and then waking up at 7 am to put her outside. By far, my favorite plant was Runty. She finished up so nice. Overall smell is Kushy blueberry diesel cat piss with a hint of citrus. Wouldn't grow this strain again just because it did not handle the weather well, and I like a kushier final product, on the taste and nose. That being said, I am a very happy guy right now. Day 135. Girl stinks a hell, cant move her to smaller tent and my new fan is delayed, so is new diary. Still in doubts what to do, dont want to postpone next run deep into summer, too hot at mines ... Day 137. Girl was moved to new home, humidity was at highest 50, hope during night i wont get bud rot, have no outfan still... Day 138. Girl was fed with last nutes, from now just phed water, hope she will last 3 weeks minimum. Have a feeling that she dont like it, but got humidity in mid 40ties maybe we will make it ;) Day 140. After filter instalation i created negative presure, plus inside fan moved air and tent was too small for this girl, her walls were breathing, so one head rubed heavily, all glued to flat ;)) Had many budrot cases and they were starting from a lot smaller incident, prevention is the key, plus i want to try out that stinky beuty ;)

2nd week of transition in the books and development has been advanced and remains very vigorous. Had to pull out one more plant that was showing balls and we’re now down to a total of 6 plants of the original 10. Regardless the scrog net has filled in substantially while the canopy remains airy and light in terms of overall foliage space. The mains have been tied to the net over 2 or 3 rounds of bending and training to allow the lower side branches opportunity to catch up to the same rough height. No deficiencies and we’ve now apparently found the sweet spot for nutrient ratios. Everything remains on point and we’re mostly on auto pilot to the finish now. Alls good!

End of Week 6, Day 42 and all is fine. Been slowly adjusting the light schedule this week, getting ready for the switch to 12-12. Currently at 15-9, will be 14-10 on Saturday, 13-11 on Sunday and finally 12-12 on Monday March 11. She is a little smaller than the other 2 Purple Kush. First time running both strains so don’t know what’s the norm. Getting a little worried about the crowding in the 39” x 48” x 72” tent with 4 plants in there. Wish me luck 😎

Well she has grown some to say the least. A lot more pistils sprouting and their calyx’s swelling💪🏻.Nothing much else to report other than she seems to be doing just fine, other than a little tip burn from the addition of nutes she has taken to it all like a trooper💪🏻
