Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

2020-07-24 (Day 129) So this thing is just way bigger than I anticipated! I think within the next two weeks I’ll have to add another level to the SCROG. Right before I add the next layer I will do a heavy defoliation To ensure I’ll have good airflow come fall. No water, no nutes, this is the easiest grow ever! Less than a month and this net of purple donkey dicks should start forming! 🍆 🍆 🍆

New week, new growth.. Will hopefully start the LST and Topping in a few days. They are really starting to grow. Fan leaves looking healthy and big. Girls coming with vigorous growth now, everything dialled in and happy. Just adjusting the EC/pH as needed when the girls show me the relevant signs/deficiencies if any. D31/D35- Decided they were in a good enough place to start topping the girls, all 6 topped and just some defoliation of the bigger fan leaves that are shading the growth shoots some HST was also done. We were also due a water change, so I cleaned the whole system just to keep things extra cleanly, very important in a RDWC system. I also switched over to a sterile system instead of using beneficial bacteria so I will experiment and see how this goes. Time to let the girls ecover before the next training session. Cruise control for now.

Hey Growers, end of week 12 from seed Not much has changed this week, its been a slow bud growth. I feel it still needs to grow thicker, 2-3 weeks before flushing Smell is a bit stronger, hoping a sour flavor. It been difficult trying to maintain a steady humidity level due to weather outside. I will consider buying a stronger humidifier for my next grow. Trichomes are cloudy, no amber yet Some of the leaves have yellow-orange tips, this happened after I changed ph meters, my old one broke so I had to purchased a different ph meter at my local hydroponics store. Will keep you guys posted, see you next week

The pictures don't do these buds justice. They are a brilliant purple and orange color. I have definitely outdone myself for my first grow ever. These buds have that perfect subtle smell and taste of blue salt water taffy. It's brilliant. I couldn't get it to reveg which is a disappointment but it will live on in my memory

Here comes the first Preflower Update

2024-12-25 to 2024-12-31 With less than 2 weeks remaining to this grow, I started the flush - straight water w/ CALMAG for one more watering, then straight water for the last 10 days. With the high humidity from all the rain we have had, as well as higher than average winter temps, it has been difficult to find that sweet spot for Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD). However, we are predicted to have cold and dry weather starting New Years Eve and lasting for a couple of weeks. This will allow me to control the lung room environmental aspects to try to hit that VPD sweet spot for the last couple of weeks of flower. 12-26 Day 47/101 Flushed w/ water and CALMAG - 1.5 gal each 12-30 Day 51/105 Trichomes are mostly milky, with less than 5% amber 12-31 Day 52/106 .5 gal water + CALMAG each. Leaves are starting to show nutrient deficiency from the flush. Water overflow in trays is reddish in color, indicating a large amount of nutrients still in the soil.

Quebec Blast is growing good still. She got heavy training today. A good defoliation to open center up, and lst has been steady on extending branches. Looking at about 3 weeks as this is the start of week 6 before light change. They are getting big fast so might be sooner. As long as I can keep the nutrition level in check since it is so little. The SE5000 should provide a good room of colas in the end. Light intensity is at 60 percent just with more distance between plant, and light. I just been adjusting to a lot of changes. New light and finding the spot the plants like. Which I believe I found the vegging sweet spot I might be just a little too strong on light intensity. Going off what the leaves were saying before defoliation. Plant seems fairly happy, and has really long roots going. Been changing the solution about once a week since it is only a gallon I use. Plus have been trying to get a good tds level the plant likes. Think I found it or am really close. She is in a New Level Hydro bucket. All is going good for now. ------GENERAL COMMENT------ We arrived pass mid flowering as we are now starting week 5 of flower. No issues, bumped up a bit the Sensi Bloom to 2.5 after 3ml, and have seen the girls darken a bit, so i decided to go down a bit to 2ml this week, maybe stick to this dosage depending how the girls react. The tent have become small for or two ladies, no way to train them more, there is no space. Decided to move forward without a mid grow flush. Still on the 1.5l of water every other day, one base + recharge + pk booster, other with pk booster + natures candy + velokelp alternating. Today was the last Pk booster - Big Bud dose, now we will cut the Big Bud and enter with the Overdrive, the rest will be as is. ------GG. AK47 COMMENT------ I'm loving to grow this strain, so curious about the smoke, and the outcome, this one exceed my expectations a lot seen that it was a gift seed... She is less dark than the BB but still a little dark, and a bid very bid of tip burn, so -1ml of sensi /l should be fine.

Well what can I say... added a used LED light to the grow that I got for a good price as energy prices are quite high and getting more expensive. Going to upgrade the ventilation system as well, having the box in my bedroom is just unbearable with the current ventilation. High humidity at night above 60% causes me a headache, I am trying to reduce it as much as possible - hope the new system is gonna work better. Plants have a variety of issues, also I believe that they don't grow as fast as they should. Any help/comment appreciated!

Buds getting dense now, absolutely covered in thc, smells very orangey. Really happy with how it’s going so far.

Hello Diary. The last week of vegetation although you could already tell that flowering had begun. 😍 Purple Punch # 1 has already grown to a solid 50 cm. while Purple Punch # 2 that sprouted a few days later reached 30 cm. On Purple Punch # 1 the tops of the leaves are pale yellow, I don’t know if it’s up to light or genetics since it doesn’t happen to the other two plants that are on the Farm. 😏 This week I added a lot of nutrients when watering, I will see how they will react to that. 😐 The height of the plants now varies a lot, from 50 cm in height to 30 cm in height, so I had to adjust the height of the light in the box a bit. The lights are dimmed at 80% The temperature in the growbox is around 25 degrees, which is ideal for me but the humidity is a bit lower than I would have liked. I'm thinking of putting on a humidifier again. The plants started to be more thirsty so now watering is more frequent as well. Let’s take a look at the review of the week. 10/02/2021 - Day 15. Watering. p.H I adjusted to 6.3 with Lemon Kick and added one Easy Grow tablet to 6 liters of water. With that, I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 40% humidity. 13/02/2021 - Day 18. Watering.p.H I regulated to 6.4 and did not add any other nutrients. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.3 degrees and 40% humidity. 16/02/2021 - Day 21. Photographing and watering. This time I added CalMg, 1.5ml / L preventively and from BoiBizz I added Bio Heaven, Bio Grow, Acti Vera and Alg-A-Mix only 2ml / L each. p.H I regulated at 6.4. Due to the low humidity, I put the humidifier back in the GrowBox. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24 degrees and 35% humidity. That’s it for this week, thanks to everyone who stop by and take a look.
