Hi all. So here we are at the end of another week and its now time to admit a slight defeat with the recovering ladies !!!!. I am not under any illusions that they will fly and take over now so need to flip to 12/12 for the sake of the Amnesia and time constraints. I am impressed they survived the root rot at all so a small stunted bud on a stick is better than no bud at all. I am hopeful the Amnesia will showcase how good the genetics from Sweet seeds are and not damage their reputation with my heat damaged and root issues. Red Hot Cookie has been struggling to get over her rot. She does not look too good but is alive. I will keep her happy and see how she comes through. Sweet Afghani Delicious has done well to grow this week but she has now taken a small christmas tree appearence. I expect she will also remain a midget for the finish , heres to hope. Amnesia Haze is stomping it in her Soil pot. Her week has been very productive. She is covered in mains and even the middle of the plant is forming another ring of mains. I have put them into different positions now and moved the lights around to get the best out of the new SP3000. She is spread out to get even more light as the stretch period takes hold. With decent raining out , i am hoping to get a very good yield from her. Her limbs are solid in strength but still bendable so should help train her out more. I also have the sp250 to give additional side lighting with the tsl2000 forneven more par if needed later in flowering. She is feeding well bybjer looks and takes about 8L before any runoff. I plan to add another round of amendments this week to boost the soil life for flowering.

After I repotted the plants, they grew really well and healthily for 12 days. Now they are showing iron deficiency again... I already had the problem before repotting. The pH value of the earth has fallen again to 4.8 to 5.7. This time I used biodegradable braids to germinate. I believe that this is the reason for the PH fluctuations in the soil. Every time I water I measure the PH and adjust it to 6 - 6.5. Nevertheless, the PH value drops back to 4 to 5. I'm trying to correct the problem. I also work with neemoil because I can't get rid of the trips

Buds are not as dense as the first purple punch but the mass is more. Will keep this updated up to drying. Edit #1 June 15 : buds have been washed in baking soda/lime juice warm water (32*C) > rtp water (27*C) > cold water (22*C). Buds then will be hung to dry for 24 hours in AC (45% humid). At day 2 (or in another 24 hours) will move the buds into another room for 24 hours again @65-75% humidity. Day 3 (or in another and probably the last 24 hours of drying) will move back into ac and then a stem test on each branch will be conducted to see if they are dry enough. If they are not dry enough after day 3 (2 days ac @ 45% and 1 day rtp @65-75%) then a 4th day of ac drying will occur and then more branch tests. Upon being sufficiently dry, the final trim of the sugar leaves will occur and then jarring with some Boveda 58%. Thanks for reading, more edits to come. Edit : 18/June/ā€˜21 Seeds looking real nice, I have given some away for people to rest and tell me if I did my procedure correct (feminizing seeds with female pollen due to a female plant being stress). If this procedure is correct I’ll be fertilizing my current grow too. 1) Purple Paralysis (Jellyfish Bud) (F) 2) Monster Mass (F) 3) Lavender (bag seed gender unknown) Edit 2 25th June : buds dried at 36-45% humidity for 4 days before jarring.

I was given the seed months before and just grew it on a whim with the LA and one of my own. I turned out great. It got the far right side of the tent and did well. She did even better with extra room up when the LA had to be moved. I jumped the gun on the flush and wish I could have given another week, but the down side to this specimen is prone to mold and my hands were tied. I do have another smaller plant with VERY dense buds that's sitting at 50-60% RH - not a sign of mold.. I'm happy with this plant.

Not much to report this week. Really impressed with the results so far from the Mars hydro TS600 the bud development seems to be pretty good. This strain is producing a lot of trichomes and the smell is starting to pick up at good bit now going into week 6. Lowered the amount of Canna A an B feed to 2.4ml/L and PK13/14 to 1.0ml/L. Some light defoliation to help get more light coverage to the lower buds.

Super Silver Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) – Flower Week 4 šŸ“– Quick Recap – From Seed to Week 4 Flower • Week 1 Flower: Transition was smooth—plants showed pistils almost immediately, adapting well to the flip. Stable structure, great color, and strong roots already visible. • Week 2 Flower: Morphology shifted fast—nodes stacking, pistils multiplying. Feeding recipe adjusted: removed Start Booster, added Top Booster (0.25 ml/L), plus Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation. Plants handled higher temps like champions. • Week 3 Flower: Light defoliation done to open airflow and light penetration. Both phenos look like twins, compact, about 120 cm tall, hybrid-style leaves, strong root systems, and steady bud formation. VPD slightly high (~1.37 kPa), but plants remained stress-free. • Week 4 Flower (current): Buds are swelling, pistils thick and beautiful, leaves lush and symmetrical. Feeding recipe simplified—no All-In-One Liquid or Top Booster. Soil provides NPK; boosters fine-tune flower development, aroma, and resin potential. Week 4 Flower – Super Silver Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Super Silver Haze Breeder: Zamnesia Seeds Phenotypes: SSH #1 & SSH #2 Stage: Flower – Week 4 Pots/Medium: 11L fabric pots, custom super soil with Aptus amendments Watering: Hand watering (guided by substrate moisture) Tent: 8Ɨ8 shared environment Control: TrolMaster Hydro-X + Tent-X, WCS substrate sensors Lighting: Future Of Grow Black Series 600W + ThinkGrow ICL-300 (x2) + Lumatek Zeus Compact Pro 465W Climate this week: ~29–30 °C, RH 60–65%, VPD ~1.3–1.4 kPa, COā‚‚ ~700 ppm āø» Snapshot of the Week Week 4 marks the true turning point in flower. Both SSH girls are thriving, healthy, vigorous, and balanced like twins. Their bud sites are swelling, white pistils are thick and abundant, and the morphology shows textbook hybrid traits: broad yet elegant leaves, dense node spacing, and compact stacking. What’s especially impressive: • Consistency: Both phenos remain very similar in form and pace. • Bud set: Flowers are already defined and filling out evenly across the canopy. • Health: Zero stress from previous light defol, strong root expansion, and steady nutrient uptake. āø» Feeding Strategy – Why We Adjusted This week we removed Aptus All-In-One Liquid and Aptus Top Booster. Here’s why: • The super soil recipe prepared earlier already contains a strong base of NPK from pellets and amendments. At this stage, overfeeding could disrupt balance or push excess salts. • Instead, we’re focusing on boosters and stimulants to enhance flower initiation, resin metabolism, and plant resilience. Current Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator (0.15 ml) → Improves nutrient uptake, strengthens tissue, boosts stress tolerance. • Aptus CalMag Boost (0.25 ml) → Keeps structural integrity high under intense light and COā‚‚ conditions. • Plagron Power Buds (1 ml) → Stimulates rapid floral development and tighter bud formation. • Plagron Sugar Royal (1 ml) → Biostimulant that enhances secondary metabolism, terpenes, and resin potential. • Plagron Green Sensation (1 ml) → Complete flowering stimulator, focusing on density, aroma, and taste. Why this recipe works now: The soil provides the ā€œmeal,ā€ while the boosters are the ā€œspices.ā€ We’re enhancing flavor, weight, and resilience without overwhelming the root zone. āø» Environmental Dynamics • Temperature: Still on the warm side (~29–30 °C), but stable. The incoming AC will soon help bring conditions closer to optimal. • Humidity: RH floats around 60–65%. At this flower stage, still acceptable, but we’re monitoring carefully to avoid mold risks as flowers thicken. • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa. This is within a healthy mid-flower range—enough transpiration to drive nutrient uptake without locking stomata. • COā‚‚: ~700 ppm. Boosting photosynthesis and energy flow under high-intensity LEDs. Why this matters now: Flowering metabolism is extremely demanding—sugars, nutrients, and water must all move efficiently. Stable VPD, good airflow, and consistent irrigation ensure every part of the canopy stays productive. āø» Gear Check – Shoutouts • Lighting: The F.O.G. Black Series 600W, ThinkGrow ICL-300s, and Lumatek Zeus Compact Pro 465W are delivering a rich, full-spectrum spread with great canopy penetration. This balanced array ensures bud development isn’t just on top colas but throughout the plant. • Control & Monitoring: The TrolMaster Hydro-X + Tent-X system, coupled with WCS substrate sensors, allows precise irrigation based on actual root-zone moisture, EC, and temperature. This data-driven approach prevents over- or under-watering, keeps the medium stable, and maximizes nutrient efficiency. • Airflow & Filtration: Dual 6ā€ extractors with carbon filters maintain fresh air exchange while neutralizing odors. Clean air is not just about smell control—it’s about disease prevention and consistent COā‚‚ delivery. āø» Education Corner – What Week 4 Flower Means At this stage, the plant is fully committed to flowering. • What to expect now: • Steady bud swelling, with white pistils covering all main sites. • A slight increase in daily water consumption. • Noticeable aroma starting to form—terpenes are building. • What NOT to expect yet: • No heavy trichome coverage—resin glands usually start to pop in weeks 5–6. • No ā€œfinal bulkā€ā€”density and mass pack on in late flower (weeks 6–8+). āø» Looking Ahead to Week 5 • Bud Bulk: Expect pistils to continue exploding as flowers begin their first swelling cycle. • Trichomes: Resin production will soon kick in, expect frost to start appearing. • Environment: With AC in place, temps should drop into the mid-20s °C, and VPD will fall closer to the ā€œsweet spotā€ for dense flowers and reduced disease pressure. • Defol Touch-ups: Another light defoliation may be needed around week 5–6 to open up bud sites deeper in the canopy. āø» Final Thoughts This Week The Super Silver Haze legacy is shining through, these phenos are vigorous, symmetrical, and stable, a perfect balance of old-school genetics and modern growing science. Spread some of plants out to get better lighting as I raised the light s few inches. 12/09 Topped off the reservoirs and PHed them to 5.6 because they have been rising alot. Rotated plants half turn. Did more LST for more light penetration. 12/10 Signs of preflower are starting to show on two plants and the tent is starting to get that flowering smell not to much longer until I need to hook up the carbon filter to stop the stench. 12/11 Updated front left and back left plants to week 5 nutrients with no Floramicro, because these plants hate nitrogen. PH in all reservoirs set to 5.6 12/12 PHed adjusted to 5.8 and topped off all the reservoirs. Did more LST and tucked plenty of leaves away for better light on new growth! 12/13 First real signs of Flower! PH adjusted to 5.8 and reservoirs topped off with water to keep the nutrient levels balanced. Lollipopped the front left plant for experimental purposes. These plants overall are doing fine and I have 2 different phenotypes displaying. One is extremely reactive to nitrogen and taller while the shorter phenotype is slightly less reactive to nitrogen (both hate it). I am pleased with the growth at this stage and the smell is just starting There is slight purple coloration displaying with the preflowers but nothing really noticeable yet. I am excited for the flowering to start so these girls can start showing their true colors šŸ˜ edit: changed final picture for better lighting.
