12-16-2024 - Plants continue to do well. Found some rust spots on several of the leaves for the Granite Runtz...could be a bit of over-feeding as I top dressed recently despite being on Grow Dots...not too worried about it though. These guys are drinking like crazy so there is plenty of time between feedings where they're getting a little flush action. I'm going to guess that we're about 3-5 weeks out from chopping these down and I'm impressed with their size so far. Now I'm really just waiting for the buds to continue developing and see what kind of size we can put on these gals. This grow has gone unbelievably well and I feel like I have the tent dialed in pretty good. More to come! 12-17-2024 - Well this morning the girls got a bath in Recharge and Sweet Berry. They were very thirsty! The nuggs on these plants are getting massive and I'm expecting to see branches start to struggle to carry the load. At this point I'd say they're probably 3-4 weeks out from chop...but that is a very loose estimate. I'll keep a close eye on them as we go. Having so much fun watching these girls grow huge. CANNOT wait to weigh these things dry. I really think I'm gonna be close to a pound with this tent. 12-19-2024 - Got some nutrient burn going on with the Granite Runtz...just the top leaves and other than some orange speckles on the leaves the flowers look good and overall the plant looks healthy. The GR's have by far the thickest/most dense flowers of the three. The Frosted Cherry O's look very balanced and is the most attractive plant in the tent. The Mystery Seed, which is the only one I topped, is just growing in every direction and has tons of flowers but is clearly behind the rest in terms of maturity. I'd say in a few days to a week it'll be much thicker. Today I watered each plant with 3 Liters of dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.5. I'll take a look at them on Saturday morning and see how dry they are. Basically they're drinking a half gallon of water per day. Probably 4 weeks out from harvest is my best guess right now.

Day 2 -begin flushing

Welcome to Part 2! In Part 1 we learned the most important thing: my phosphoric acid is way stronger than my KOH stock, which is why 4 parts KOH and 1 part acid gives a perfect 1:1 PK. This started out as a pain in the ass to grow because I was expecting a light promised to me by a company I wont name that was never followed thru with and I ended up having to pay out of pocket for it. Luckily I was able to move one of my other fixtures from my other tent for bloom so they could finish up strong. This strain has potential to be great like this plant but also has the potential to end up like my first attempt at it so I gave it 9/10 stars. If every one came out like this one it would be a 11/10. Great daytime smoke, finished up relatively quickly considering its size. Only negatives were the smell isnt as strong as I thought it would be based off the end of flower but in the grand scheme of things is not a big deal it still smells it's just subtle. I cant help but wonder if it would have been even bigger and better if I had enough light to give it the first 6 weeks. The autopots were run from around week 4 to 7 until I disconnected and started hand feeding so I could use thicker nutes with the organics like the pbp and nirvana. 11021

Sep 7: Gorilla Cookies is doing great. It’s the biggest of the four plants with the most uniform manifolding job, it’s also the furthest along in flowering and will be the first one to finish. Hopefully by later this month and that we get lots of sun to drive trichome production. Still doing the 730 nm far red light at dusk as a bloom booster, and I’ll keep doing that until the end. And don’t take flash pics of your buds unless you’re then immediately using a far red light to put them into dark mode. Sep 9: bit of defoliation of lower branches and buds to direct plant’s energy upward and to maintain good airflow especially down low. Used my last bit of Cal-Mag as a few leaves on each of the plants was starting to show a minor calcium deficiency. Sep 10: beautiful weekend is probably the best one all summer with nice sun, no smoke and perfect room temperature sort of weather. Sitting here a minor gust of wind blew her over. This the fifth time a plant has blown over lately but first time for this one. The 5 gallon bags are big enough for what I want but still easy to move around to maximize sunlight. A drawback is the small pot needs to be stabilized by filled buckets. Sep 12: these buds are forming quickly and she is ahead of the other three plants by at least a week. Raising odour level to normal which is probably pretty loud for other people who can still smell most things. The tops are starting to look white when viewed from a distance so that’s pretty cool.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 7" tall and the #2 a bit taller at 8". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. Day 50 from reciving my seeds and equipment and day 46 since I put her into Coco: 25/Oct/2018: She is doing so well and is in her first week of flowering! I saw massive differences and a boost in her budding thanks to Canna PK 13/14 and for those that suggested I start using it (I started at 0.5ml per L, 3 days ago). Her roots seem to be doing very well (I see fuzz of healthy fungus and microbes on the roots when they sprout out of the fabric pot! Please send any suggestions on my use of nutrients!

03/31/25: Today was a major milestone in the grow: all five plants were transplanted into 1-gallon AirPots and topped above the 3rd node. I also cleaned up everything below node two, leaving each plant with two strong, healthy nodes to begin shaping their structure for the vegetative phase. Normally, I wouldn’t combine transplanting and topping on the same day, as both are stress-inducing events. However, the plants looked robust and healthy, showing no signs of weakness. Because of this, I felt confident they could handle the dual stress. Still, I expect them to take the next 2–3 days to recover, after which I anticipate they’ll bounce back with even more vigor. Each plant was moved into a 1-gallon AirPot, which encourages air pruning and promotes a more fibrous, expansive root system. During transplant, I sprinkled mycorrhizal fungi directly near the rootball of each plant to help stimulate root colonization and increase nutrient uptake during this critical phase. On inspection, the roots were healthy and white, showing no signs of being rootbound—making this the perfect window for transplanting without risking transplant shock or root constriction. The newly potted plants were placed back into the 4x4 tent, now sitting about 36 inches (approximately 91.5 cm) below the AC Infinity S44 light, which is set to 40% power. This provides a PAR reading of around 360 µmol/m²/s, which is well-suited for early veg. To begin early phenotype tracking, I’ve labeled the plants as PP1 through PP5: • PP1: Most vigorous plant so far • PP2: Slightly behind PP1 in size and growth rate • PP3–PP5: Showing very similar growth characteristics, slightly more compact If early vigor is any indication of sex, I would guess that PP1 and PP2 may be male, while PP3 through PP5 could be female. That said, this is purely speculative—true sex traits won’t reveal themselves until preflower, and many vigorous plants end up being female as well.

Started the flush a few days ago on this lady, she lookin frosty and smelling amazing

Harvested at F49. I like this strain but i will not grow it again. For me, it was a hype strain.

On may 6, the seedling broke through the earth. Seedling developed well in the first week. It was watered every day with a spray bottle (approx. 50ml a day) with collected rainwater in small circles around the seedling. After day 4, the first roots could be seen at the bottom of the pot. This weeks weather was pretty good for the start. The daytime temperatures fluctuated between 18 and 26 degrees in the first week, as you can see from the past weather data. (The weather report is added at the end of each week and is based on real weather events, i.e. it is not a forecast). As already mentioned the plant receives additional hours light from an LED bulb (17W, 4000K, 2500 Lumen) for the first days to make them more resistant to pests and severe weather conditions. She get around 3 hours additional light. In the early morning i move the plant outdoor.

I'm not happy with the overall harvest...it produced some good tasty smoke due to fine nutes and a wonderfull strain but i fu**ed it up by using a very bad soil...growth was very slow and also lost like 25g due to budrot/mold...again my fault as i set up ventilation the wrong way (RH was good but some buds didn't get enough airflow) Again i learned alot of things and got 275g of good, great smelling smoke...so not that bad...but could be much better 🙂

Just another week of vegging and feeding, waiting to make sure the last remaining plant I have is female. I think the male parts would have shown already if it was male, but you never really know until flip time. I’m planning on up-planting the remaining plant I have to a 7 gallon fabric pot and flipping it to 12-12 because I don’t have tent space for a massive beast of a photoperiod. Excited to see if this one is female (which I really think it is fingers crossed!).
