Sativas are known to be difficult to grow due to their long flowering times and sensitivity to overfeeding and stress. Zamnesia's Trainwreck, however, already challenged that notion by condensing traditional sativa genetics into a fast and easy-to-grow feminized photoperiod seed. Now, the breeders at Zamnesia have chosen to take things even further with Trainwreck Automatic—a fast-flowering auto version of this beloved Californian sativa. The original Trainwreck descends from Mexican and Thai landrace strains, making for a variety with delicious aromas and plenty of potency. To create Trainwreck Automatic, Zamnesia breeders took their original Trainwreck and crossed it with a hardy cut of ruderalis for a faster flowering time and improved vigour, all while preserving the aromas and effects that the original Trainwreck is known for. The result? A strong hybrid with a speedy 12-week life cycle—expect plants that veg for roughly 3–4 weeks before automatically transitioning into a swift 7–8-week bloom phase. After their pre-flowering stretch, indoor-grown Trainwreck Automatic plants typically max out at 4ft tall and can yield up to 19.5oz/yd². Outside, however, this variety can grow much taller, reaching heights of 10ft and yielding up to 5oz/plant. Like her feminized photoperiod cousin, Trainwreck Automatic by Zamnesia Seeds produces long, bright-green flowers with plenty of resin and orange-yellow pistils. If you love quintessential sativa weed, this is the strain for you. Thanks to her Mexican and Thai genetics, Trainwreck Automatic has inherited rich aroma and flavour notes of fresh pine with earthy undertones and a lingering zesty citrus bite. Containing up to 21% THC, this variety packs plenty of punch, producing an uplifting cerebral rush that'll elevate your mood and focus. Enjoy this strain with friends in social settings, while exploring the great outdoors, or while getting stuck into some creative work.
